Current A scantron exam, but the answer is always C. Just C. Always C. Not a single A, B, D, or E. All answers are C. The statistical improbability is diabolical!

Ben doesn't roll that way, just want to point that out before it becomes anything more than that, but he's just trying to be a good guy right now so a slight nod is fine with me.

Sort of the point of making it all under the table. Zach's probably crushing over Ben subconsciously but isn't bold enough to say anything :P
@vancexentan

Are the homoerotic subtextual contents working out for you? Or should we continue on with only this slightly nod from this point forward?
<Snipped quote by The Grey Dust>

I'm kinda confused as to what you're talking about here. None of my custom cards gain any ATK at damage calculation specifically.

I've also changed Infiltrator's burn effect to only when it destroys a monster by battle, and made it unable to be attacked instead. I should probably note that à la R-Genex Vindikite, if it's your only monster, your opponent can just attack you directly, so it's a bit more balanced than its previous iteration.

Suffocator's ATK reduction effect was changed as specified as well.

I've also (hopefully) cleared up any issues with my signup sheet. Camryn is now taking Turbo Dueling and Xyz Summoning, and her structure deck has been given many more single copies of cards, including cards like UFOroid and Gradius, to make it a bit more like an actual structure deck.

I.e. All face-up LIGHT Machine-type monsters with 1200 or less ATK you control gain 400 ATK and DEF, and are treated as having 1200 or less ATK for the purposes of effects you control.

Can be rewritten as such: All face-up LIGHT Machine-type monsters with 1200 or less ATK you control gain 400 ATK and DEF during damage calculation only.

This makes them still 1200 or less attack, but gives them an extra 400 when it matters.

There, the 7 aspects of the Bushido Code with Honest, also unlike the others, Benevolence is a mandatory effect meaning you cannot actually use it to battle :P

"ne vous inquiétez pas, it is not a problem." Zacharie looked up at Ben, the handsome knight standing before him extending a merciful hand towards him. An aura radiant, surrounded the Arthurian duelist, benevolence certainly around him as Zacharie took his hand mesmerized by the mere presence of Ben's might. Not that it would have been difficult for Ben to pick up him, or for Zacharie to pick himself up off the ground, but it was a moment for Zacharie to take it in, having collided with Ben resulting in their awkward positioning moments ago. He felt a little hurt when Ben thought he was Vincent, but they haven't quite met yet formally, and Zacharie lacked the strong charismatic personality that Ben had to make his name known already, so the Frenchman forgave the Englishman for misidentifying him as he took Ben's offered hand.

"Merci, I was wondering what the noise was about," He looked down at his soaked shirt and Ben's own, a slight blush appearing on his cheeks as he realized his water pretty much covered both of them, even his Jacket was dripping although his shirt was far worse. "Of course I know you, aîné Carson, Your duel was...Très excitant... I enjoyed watching you," A slight pause as Zacharie took off his wet shirt letting the Jacket cover the majority of his torso for modesty as he started to coil the dampened fabric around itself to be wrung dry. "Win from behind." The continuation was ambiguously placed, meaning any number of things depending on how Ben took it. "La faute est à moi, but could I ask to use your sink to take care of this?" He was referring to shirt of course, what else would he mean by 'this?'

Certainly not the terrible, and now soggy, sandwich he bent over and picked up from the ground and pitched into the nearby trash bin."I thought I would see you in Light, you did so well. A much better spectacle de Coeur than your brother... I don't think zey were fair to you."
How ever you want this to go Grey I'm just winging it.

And as for you Jangel I'm not sure where we are but we're somewhere in the dorm. Grey misunderstood what I meant by the comment at the end of my thing with Ben and his groupies as he went off and started to cause chaos instead of him alienating said groupies so I'm just going along with it since I don't want to have Grey re-write his stuff.

Well I envisioned it more like Ben was leading his troupe around the dorms and raising hell, running around infront and all.
@vancexentan

I'll post up in a bit, any ideas how you want this interaction to go?
Here are my custom cards. They're meant to be legacy support for the Gradius monsters, hence all the "LIGHT Machine-type monsters you control with 1200 or less ATK", rather than just "Deepspace". (I hope this is the right place to post them...)

Deepspace Scout
Level 4
Light
Machine/Effect
When this card destroys a monster by battle, you can target one card your opponent controls: Destroy that target. When this card is Summoned, you can Special Summon one LIGHT Machine-type monster with 1200 or less ATK from your hand or Graveyard, except “Deepspace Scout”.
1200/800

Deepspace Stunner
Level 4
Light
Machine/Effect
Once per turn, this card cannot be destroyed by battle. When this card destroys a monster by battle, during the rest of this turn, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects.
1200/900

Deepspace Berserker
Level 4
Light
Machine/Effect
This card gains 300 ATK for each LIGHT Machine-type monster with 1200 or less ATK you control. When this card destroys a monster by battle, you can add one LIGHT Machine-type monster with 1200 or less ATK from your Deck to your hand. This card is always treated as having 1200 or less ATK for the purposes of effects you control.
1200/0

Deepspace Infiltrator
Level 4
Light
Machine/Effect
When this card destroys a monster by battle or inflicts damage via a direct attack, your opponent loses 600 Life Points. This card can attack directly.
1200/100

Deepspace Suffocator
Level 4
Light
Machine/Effect
When this card destroys a monster by battle, you can reduce the ATK of a monster your opponent controls by 200 times the number of LIGHT Machine-type monsters with 1200 or less ATK you control. During each Standby Phase, all monsters your opponent controls lose 300 ATK. When a monster reaches 0 ATK while this card is face-up on the field, it is sent to the Graveyard.
1200/1000

Deepspace Beacon
Normal Spell
Add one LIGHT Machine-type monster with 1200 or less ATK from your Deck to your hand. If your opponent controls at least 2 more monsters than you, you may Special Summon one LIGHT Machine-type monster with 1200 or less ATK from your Deck instead.

The Depths of Space
Field Spell
Once per turn, you may target one LIGHT Machine-type monster with 1200 or less ATK you control: when it destroys a monster by battle this turn, if its effect activates and resolves, you may resolve that monster's effect twice. (This does not require that monster to destroy a monster in battle again that turn.) All face-up LIGHT Machine-type monsters with 1200 or less ATK you control gain 400 ATK and DEF, and are treated as having 1200 or less ATK for the purposes of effects you control.

Try the damage calculation limitation text rather than giving it your 1200 blanketing. Since it gains the attack points at damage Calc only it makes it not have more than 1200 at any point most card effects occur.
"You did well too, a 'ery long game." Zacharie's cheeks turned a little pink despite the slight annoyance held in her voice. Locked into a stalemate, this was not a way Zacharie preferred to send his time at these card games. While it did show skill to prolong a duel, it also detracted time from more non-trivial things like reading. He was up a few scenes from his arrival here so far, and would need another book to burn through at this rate. It was clear that unlike Vincent this girl was a bit less social, and her outfit suggested her strong-minded independence, in contrast to the others who had taken up their uniforms already. That being said, he just gave her a nod and stayed behind a good distance as to not make her irritable.

There were the three Ael's nearby, although they seem to be paused in some sort of Clan staring contest? Zacharie was not quite sure what to think of them, given that they seemed to be common here, and many siblings showed up to this place for some odd reason, relatives even. He chuckled internally as he considered dragging his older brother along for this. Probably Adrien, the middle child who wouldn't mind as much as he was an artist touring Europe for inspiration. It was his turn to pick a sandwich, several sorts and varieties from sweet to savoury, yet nothing really too appealing. A simple cheese sandwich would work enough, a thin spread of butter tucked in by a blanket of American cheese between two pieces of white bread. It was god-awful compared to the real cheeses Zacharie was accustomed to, he had chosen poorly and washed the unnatural processed cheese slice down with a large swig of water before looking at the sandwich with French culinary disgust.

Speaking of brothers, there was some noises down the Wind Dorm, chaos even. Not Vincent's type of chaos, but more of a tumultuous sort. It was as if either a massacre was occurring in the dorm, or someone was on running people over with automobiles. Seriously the dorm was really, really rather loud, probably enough to wake duelist trying to sleep in that dorm. If the noise levels escalated to the point of reaching the Light dorm, then Zacharie may not be able to finish the first part of his book tonight. So he glanced about looking for anyone to question his entry into the Wind dorm, looking certainly out of place in his Light jacket draped over his shoulders while he was holding his bottle and nibbled-on sandwich.

It was all going well, and perhaps he did get a few stares from the Wind dormies, but no one told him to leave or otherwise so far. The part he didn't see was the wall of adrenaline-fueled knight running at him as he turned the corner and ended up being tackled by a larger boy. Well, someone was evidently running people over, and using a loud air horn evidently. As Zacharie groaned to recover from his winded state and shook his head, he was certain he was about to give this careless boy an earful of French, "fai-!" but then he realized, after noticing his water spilled over his jacket and shirt who it was who just floored him squarely.

Ben Carson.
