The highest, most decisive experience is to be alone with one's own self. You must be alone to find out what supports you, when you find that you can not support yourself.

The core of an individual is the mystery of life, which dies when it is 'grasped'. That is also why symbols want to keep their secrets.

Bio

The Harbinger of Ferocity

Agent of the Wild, Aspect of the Ferine
Nature, red in tooth and claw.

"There is, indeed, no single quality of the cat that man could not emulate to his advantage."
- Carl Van Vechten

I am, at my core, a personification and manifestation of those things whose blood and hearts run red with the ferocity of the animal world. It is this which convicts and controls my works, my writing, my being; the force and guidance in which I gain wisdom from. It is what inspires me as a creator and weaver of words, the very thing I admire as an author.

My leanings, savage as they are, are of the feline sort as there exists no greater lineage of beasts whom can be drawn from. No others captivate and motivate my talent and skill as the greatest of cats do.

Insufficient information has been provided to answer what an "upbaby" is. I cannot seem to find any uses of it in the various web based dictionaries. Perhaps that could be later elaborated on.

If you had the power to rename any one animal's species and make that the new standard for it, which would it be and why?
The generic classes of the gestalt, the d20 Modern classes are flexible and vague enough to categorize people. More of than not it comes down to skill selection more than anything else or the difference between the finer, primarily mental, ability scores as Intelligence, Wisdom and Charisma; the physical ones are much easier to apply and compare, @Genni. That said Third Edition classes, appropriately, are more difficult to qualify for, especially as they become more and more exceptional or otherworldly. All the same, if you are still interested and available to, by and large which I stress, post at least every three days at absolute maximum without great forewarning or delay after, do send me a private message.
I am not sure cutting Warren free is the best idea at the moment considering the black jaguar is actively protecting him and that is not a secret either, just forewarning, @ihinka.
Accidentally helping Signod with a swarm of fireflies and other insects? I consider that a small victory, much better than I imagined how it would go. Either way, Shaedra now has no reaction this turn given the triggering event went off. Seems things are heating up elsewhere, however.
Thank you, @Guardian Angel Haruki. Shaedra is a bit different of a persona to deal with. Trying to be less than knowledgeable in combat is a bit of a challenge all its own. Good to know there is success there!
So long as a slot goes unclaimed you will have first to it for the time being and may join at a later date, @William Cade. That said, please do inform as soon as you are aware.
The woman curiously blinked a few times overhearing bits of what the bearded little man was saying. Granted she had not seen many dwarves, or these halfling things she was told of either, but it seemed his oddness was at least... helping? Maybe? The bandits probably did not want to die after all and they were being woefully overrun - there was all sorts of yelling and commanding elsewhere by the place with the girl. The elf didn't bother to pay that much attention, it seemed like the rest had that handled, hopefully getting the girl out of harm's way in the process.

For the moment she only focused on her globe of fireflies that began to buzz and hum about her hand while her back rode against the tree providing her protection. Panting a bit from the excitement, she swallowed and caught her breath, glancing around the wooded one's trunk. The glow of the insects gave her away, after all she could attempt to slip into the shadows cast by the moon, but she was more worried now about the man challenging the taller one; the last thing she wanted to do was put him in any worse straights than where she was, as at least she had a tree!

"You should throw down your weapon and leave while you can," She paused for a moment, thinking hastily what she could do to sound serious, "Or I will sic this... swarm of insects upon you like a blight!"

At first it sounded like a threat, until she realized a bunch of tiny glowing bugs were not particularly dangerous, at least not these ones. Where were all the woodland allies when she needed them? It didn't matter now, she just hoped the man would hesitate or decide the fight wasn't worth it. She only needed one captive and now too the girl, though the little lady probably knew nothing about the magic star or the wilder, greater beings of the wood, but who knew? They couldn't leave her here anyway! Hopefully the magic would be enough to spook him or at least consider the bearded fellow more seriously.

Considering it is mostly run on a Discord, you can find them there. The only question I have is are you regularly available to play, as in, at absolute maximum, no more than three days between activity, @William Cade?
At least I am not the only one who makes puzzles of that level of "complexity", @Metadude. I admit, Skyrim sort of stole the template of pattern I used, such as matching objects, placing objects, arranging them and the like. At least the developers too there seemed to have the same mindset as myself. In rarity, very sparing rarity, do I use riddles, particularly because they are "All or nothing." type scenarios, where the party either figures it out or doesn't. Usually I just resort to having them roll for it if it takes too long or if their character should know more than the individual.

For myself? I absolutely loathe puzzles, riddles, or similar such games. I have many bad experiences with them, especially ones that make no sense or do not have a "theme" to them that resonates throughout or elsewhere to give me insight into what they mean. They tend to just be there for the sake of a dungeon having a puzzle, just like Dungeon Masters who feel totally obligated to put dragons into their games because of the genre.
An always fun, short experience to be shared here and a slight bit of generic advice. That being, Dungeon Masters, never make any puzzle or event too complicated. If your party is spending two hours on a puzzle, it is probably outside the scope of reasonableness, even more so if said puzzle is woefully complex, involving stepping on the right tiles, going down the right hole, arranging the right letters, and then knowing the Dungeon Master's birthday - something none of the characters reasonably know themselves - and dealing with two doors, one that always lies and one that always tells the truth. Then, when we catch you on that last one and ask what color red is, the doors do not suddenly fall silent and teleport us back and make us restart the process.

As such, please do not act surprised or angry then when someone with the ability to ignore object hardness, say with the Mountain Hammer strike, decides to just bust down the seemingly impenetrable doors and starts smashing holes through the walls to just keep going. Some of us would like to play the game.
