Current @SaltSight Game was Astlibra: Revision. Found it on sale bundled with another game I've been wanting so I gave it a shot and got like, straight indie JRPG of the early 2000s injected into my veins.

Didnt even invite me to join you. I would of loved this roleplay.

Well, there are slots available still...I think.

"Just sticks and twigs...got it!" Magnus said before promptly yanking an entire fallen tree branch off the ground like it was nothing, despite it being like...at least a hundred twigs put together. He didn't seem at all perturbed by the cold, in fact surprised that Neil thought it wasn't too warm. "Eh? I thought it was getting too hot to be honest...the sea breeze made it feel more cool, like back home." the Minotaur said, scratching the back of his head. Going about his task of collecting firework, Magnus' ears perked up a bit once Neil began talking again.

"Well...Mr. Bart came to my family's labyrinth a month or so ago. I joined because, well...dad said adventuring would build character. That and, Mr. Bart seems like a really good man." he said, gathering a mountain of twigs and sticks in the form of literal logs in his arms, absentmindedly continuing his task despite his desire to carry a conversation. "Um...I really, really don't know what happened with them. They just kept arguing and arguing and arguing...and there was no time to waste in getting the job done, so I thought it'd be okay to go take care of it. When i went back to split the reward with them, they were just...gone. I hope they're alright." he said, looking up at the dimming sky, hoping the best for his argumentative companions of questionable loyalty.

"Neil, do you have a brother? The priest that hired us looked just like you. But...blond-er." Magnus asked, having enough fire by himself to start a funeral pyre or a bonfire. He didn't know if it was a touchy issue or not, but he felt it was in some way related to Neil mentioning he'd be broke if not for...something.
For Maisy, rejection was certainly something she had already considered happening. After all, Lite was...a weenie, to put it nicely. And obviously he'd turn down the girl that had kinda given him some serious PTSD before. But, even so, Maisy wasn't letting him get away so easily. She glanced to the female staff student and took a deep breath, before puffing her chest out and giving her a confident thumbs up, then placing her hands on Lite's shoulders, she said: "So then...your dream's just going to die without you taking a step towards it?" as she backed off a bit, crossing her arms in front of her chest. "Lite, you didn't come to a school to learn to duel better than anyone else in the world just to sit on your thumbs and waste it all away, right!? she asked before quickly putting her hands on his shoulders again and shaking him around a bit, no doubt causing him to need more gel later to maintain his doo.

Once she finished giving him a good rattling, she'd release and give him a chance to recover. "Tell me Lite...what are you so scared of that you're willing to kill a dream for it?" Maisy started, resting her hands on the table with her elbows touching, hands folded and chin resting atop her netted fingers. "It hurts a lot, I know. Everything just...kinda sucks for you right now. Your friends in the dark dorm are butts, jerks, thieves, and all kinds of words I'd say if a school staff member wasn't here right now." she added, adjusting her posture to be more relaxed as she flashed Lite a smile. "Duels are supposed to be fun, right? Do you...hate dueling enough to let someone else bully you into quitting? I don't think you do Lite. You smiled when you won your placement. You had a blast. But the only one who can make dueling unfun for you is yourself."

Sitting up straight once more, she placed her hands in her lap and kept going. "Personally, I think dueling's the best...even if I'm not so great at it. Just because I've got a long ways to go, doesn't mean that I'm not gonna go the distance, y'know? Just because someone's beating you down Lite, it doesn't mean that you're gonna lose. You're worth a million dark dormies. Just...don't let them beat you. Alright? If not me, duel someone else...anybody. You can go far if you just take a step forward and draw."

Once she was done talking, Maisy would move to pull a book down from a shelf and flip through it. "Oh and, start doing your homework. I can tutor you if you're bad at math."
@ViannaNight Not at all. I like to think of it the way that Cardcaptor Sakura thinks of the Sun and Moon, which are sort of treated like elements. The Sun, or Spirit in this case, draws power from itself, while the Moon draws power from others. One is not better than the other, and neither are considered good or evil.

Perhaps Spirit could manifest in two different forms, one being what my character uses, drawing energy from himself and the other where they draw energy from something else? Perhaps sunlight or moonlight?

Isn't that too close to the Light/Darkness we already have though?
@The Irish Tree When I think of the element Spirit, the first thing that comes to mind is the word spirited, which means full of energy. Thus why I make it an energy based, or more physical, magic element. Some of the opposite words for that would be apathetic, lazy, unlively which makes me think that the opposite of Spirit would be some sort of draining, or debuffing, element.

@nobodieshero so basically a life drainer is what you are saying? I can only think of two that I can think of that would be somewhat opposite of spirit would be death or chaos. The reason I say death is because to me not only does spirit embodies energy but also life. Everything living has a spirit.

But...can Death even really be classified as an element? I can understand Spirit and Life, as they are things that at least in some capacity is "there", but with Death/Chaos, that's more the absence of something. I think its more..."Good Guy" to have Spirit be juxtaposed to an element of "Vitality", where Spirit is the manifestation of power outside of the body, IE in someone else or in the form of energy, and have Vitality be the manifestation of inner power, having no real spells that affect others, but having tremendous powers that they use on themselves.
So I think of Spirit as the channeling of pure energy, of using your physical and mental strength basically. So the opposite of that could be some sort of draining element, that draws energy from other things and uses that?

I mean...Spirit kinda can be inferred as being "The Soul", wheras maybe the opposite of that would be "The Body", IE: Vitality or something. Draining stuff to increase your power sounds like a very NOT-good guy like power for one of the heroes of the gods to have.
Perhaps spirit is like a rallying effect and she could use a more chaos oriented ability bad Luck I guess

...I mean...I kinda assumed Spirit would be the aspect of the soul, like repairing someone with the mana in the air or something.

The opposite would be something that would relate to the body, perhaps some form of magic based around physical life? Just...outright Life?
but what would oppose Spirit

...What even IS Spirit, now that I think about it? Healing? Ghost spirits?
cool beans.
Alrighty then with that I think I can squeeze Vianna in with the Ice element and that will fill us up.

Wait...but ice is just frozen water.

How about instead, you get something juxtaposed to Spirit? Since, Light and Dark are opposed, Water and Fire are opposed, Earth and Air are opposed, and Spirit out of the base elements is unopposed. Lightning and Steel/Metal could also be considered opposed.
