Y'know with all the new Isekai concepts coming out, I wonder if there is an isekai concept for "Reincarnated as a Truck that sends people to other worlds"

Awesome. I might have something up in the near future. I assume the Sacred Beast are out of the question tho. They weren't mentioned in the Ban list, but I believe only one of each exist and they were returned to their original spot.

Ay They are on the banlist since they are essential pseudo gods.
Im kinda interested...

I played a Yugioh rp once and it was all over the place and of course some complained about moves, cheap abilities, and blah blah blah. It obviously didn't end well. I haven't played it since like middle school when I was betting $5 a game and 'reking scrubs with my Cyber Dark deck'. I'll prob go with the same archtype. Is it the meta? Hell no, it wasn't back then either! But I had fun.

But technically Cyberdark Dragon was the one edgy guy's Signer. Although it wasn't like he was recent character and the card is used once and never seen again. So would I be able to use it?

Whoa they actually got some newer cyberdark cards...

Any of the cyberdark cards are perfectly fine for you to use. (Though they aren't going to cause any heart issues like they did in the anime this time around.)

That's actually kind of why I wanted to do something other than Gusto. Gusto is ENTIRELY searchers, and I wanted something a little closer to vanilla Psychics with their wonky banishment searches and stuff. The concept I have is a bit shaky so far, but I have the basic idea down.

I think I'll probably go for a mixed archetype of various aqua, rock, and winged beast type weak tuners supporting a series of three high-level spellcasters by doing stuff like sending them from the deck to the graveyard when one supporter is destroyed by battle, setting up to summon them back when a specific other supporter is summoned to set up for pre-defined synchro combos of a specific tuner and a specific spellcaster. The resulting synchros would then be able to achieve different effects by shuffling different types of supporters back from the graveyard into the deck, while the archetype's supporting spell cards would shuffle spellcasters back in to achieve powerful effects, but the archetype's field spell would benefit from having multiple spellcasters still in the graveyard, making it a balancing act between having monsters available and powering up the monsters you've got on the field. In lieu of my usual Assault Modes, I'd also probably include some kind of XYZ or Fusion Monster requiring multiple Synchros to set up as a final ultimate trump card, just because I like having monsters that go steadily through different stages.

What do you think?

This actually sounds like a good idea, though it simply depends on what the final cards look like. Speaking of...

Hmm... On second thought, I might try to come up with my own original archetype. It'll probably still end up being sychro-oriented with low attack power but a lot of searchers, but might end up being more psychics than Gustos. ...Or I might go with spellcasters, instead, just to mix things up.

Careful with having too many searchers. Kinda makes it rather unfun to fight against.
Sounds pretty cool! Count me interested, if there is still room.

Lucky for you my good sir. There is still room.

Going over the monsters and the cards in generally. It appears that the archetypes theme seems to be all over the place. It is a battle orientated archetype yet it has low stats. Also some of the effects such as spell, the promoter and all of the xyz monsters bar dragon seem to be a little too strong in what they are attempting to do. Perhaps reduce the overall search and the potency of some of the effects. While also increasing the attack of the monsters. Might seem to work.

Otherwise I cannot accept this archetype as it currently is.
...Speaking of how the game actually works, how will we end up handling the duels, anyway? Will we just use some kind of online dueling program and play them out that way, or just write up bullshit based on our decks so everyone always has the perfect card to "NOT SO FAST!" with?

I believe the viable method for this is simply attributing numbers to cards in the deck and then using a random number generator in order to 'draw' the cards, I mean you can in some cases use the 'NOT SO FAST' scenario, but over usage of it kinda stales the epicness of the feat. (not everyone can just spam the heart of the cards like a protagonist). So for all intensive purposes. The latter is likely going to be a very rare scenario in of its self.

If I RP this, I'll end up making up shit as I go along with a bunch of cards I make myself. I'm most interested in building a unique themed deck after all.

Well, As long as you make those cards before you duel and not pull a 'I produce the winning card right here right now' Then sure I am okay with this.

Might be interested- with some questions.

When you say Utopia, do you mean all the Numbers? Do you mean just Manga Numbers that have influence from the wielder? Or the Anime numbers that are Astral's memories? What about the Number monsters that have been in neither the anime nor the manga such as Crooked Cook?

When you say Synchro Dragon, do you mean dimension dragons? Are Supreme King Servant Clear Wing, Clear Wing Fast Dragon, or White Wing Magician (a Synchro Dragon by effect) Synchro Dragons?

I guess I could see someone turboing out jolkin with instant fusion, shipwreck of Theseus, twin triangle dragon, and topological bomber dragon but generally I don't feel like he's going to do much damage post-links. Even so, would Bishbalkin count too? What about the Earthbound Immortals?

Alright questions first before I go away to judge this archetype on a card by card basis. Firstly, by numbers I mean any monster that is under the number specification. Such as Number 11 Big eye. And even Number 101 Silent Honor Ark. It does not matter if it is an Astral or a Barian number. They are simply not allowed due to the reasoning behind the cards being one of a kind or only existing within certain peoples possessions.

Right okay I believe I wasn't clear on the second one. But all dimension dragons that constitute the fragments of Z-ARC are banned. So that means any Odd-eyes above the original odd-eyes. All varients of Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon. All Varients Of Clear Wing. and All Varients of Starve Venom. (along with Supreme Dragon Z-ARC being banned of course).

The Magicians that represent the dragons could be allowed to slide. However Chronograph and Astrograph Sorceror are banned as well due to being the composites required to summon the supreme king. (and while I am here I might as well ban any Supreme king support such as the servants and the gates)

To answer your third point. The original variant of Earthbound Immortals is banned for obvious reasons invovling soul consumption and general in universe limits on how many copies of them actually exist. Secondly Baalbakin falls under the same thing as Ultimaya and as such is also banned to the players.

Also to clarify by what I meant by Synchro dragons. I believe I was referring to Stardust, Black rose, Black-Winged Dragon, Red Dragon Archfiend, Fairy Dragon and Life stream (not power tool).

I guess I'll refine the list to better explain this.
Oh well, glad to have you onboard anyway. The more the merrier. I guess for now we just wait to see if more people bite. @Feyblue
Eh, I liked using Sphreeze to stall, but she wasn't my main monster. I mostly alternated between Stardust and Hyper Psychic Blaster with Assault Mode cards, because I love Assault Modes. It wasn't an amazingly effective deck, but it was just a lot of fun. :D

Understandable. After all fun should be the priority of the game, also if I may ask if you know anyone else that may be interested as we do need a few more to get this ball to begin rolling after all. I'd say about two more would be enough for a small group.

@1Charak2Ehehe. Sadly, I won't be able to re-create my usual strategy of Stardust Dragon spam since that's Yusei's thing, but I can always create a replacement custom trademark card for my character. :D

*At least its not Crystal Wing Spam*

You could in theory just use Reeze combined with say... the level 1 windwitch bell to produce a Sphreeze that can't die to card effect or battle and basically wins all fights due to her effect. That to me seems a bit more epic then spewing forth a million monsters.
