MIA for another week, pharmacy once again doesn't have my meds ready and without them I can barely function so from tomorrow onwards I'm gonna be away while I try and get it sorted

Perhaps that point of view was due to her constant unwillingness to simply accept facts given to her by her mentor (or indeed her father) as a youngster, but she tried to brush it off as simple curiosity.
"Curiosity indeed." her mother scoffed. "If that is what you wish to call it, then I will not argue with you."
The dwarves began cheering, laughing and grumbling softly to themselves as the wagers were exchanged, small sacks of gold coins flying back and forth as they were tossed between the party members.
"And quite the predicament it has put you in, hasn't it?" the she-elf pointed out with a raised eyebrow as she slipped in after him, letting the door swing shut behind them. She wasted no time in finding an unused chair for him to rest on, sure he would be glad to take the weight off his side as it was clearly ailing him still. Her head turned as another familiar voice spoke and one of the healers approached them. "So, the rumours are true then." a soft chuckle escaped her. "For a moment I was unsure whether to believe it, but then I had to remind myself that you do take after me." "Mother please." Mel grumbled in embarrassment, turning her head away. "Don't make a scene."
When Bane said maybe they'd have more luck with the elves, which elves exactly did you mean? And did you want to have them go over there and interact for a while so you can still play them till the company run into them? XD
Balin took the contract from Bilbo, fishing the magnifier out of his pack and examining the signature closely to make sure it was genuine. After looking it over, the dwarf gave a satisfied nod. "Everything seems to be in order." he agreed. "Welcome then, Bilbo Baggins, to Thorin Oakenshield's company." "Get him a pony." Thorin ordered sharply, urging his own mount onward. They had wasted enough time already, they needed to make up for it by getting back on the road quickly.
The spare pony was brought up from the back of the group and the reigns were handed to the hobbit, before the other dwarves all headed after Thorin, expecting that Bilbo already knew how to ride, so they didn't wait for him.
@karmacrushh I'd be interested in the Hobbit RP ^^ I don't have a KIK but I have Skype so we could exchange skype names in PM if you like and discuss plot etc.? I do believe I meet all of the criteria you listed :3

"You're welcome. Most of the soldiers aren't too bad," she assured him, holding the door to the infirmary open for him when they reached the building. "They've been drilled to be wary of your kind, we all have. But for the most part we try not to resort to violence, if it can be helped."
Thorin called out for the company to stop as Bilbo ran up to them shouting, and he and Balin turned to face the halfling. "Well, did you bring the contract with you?" the old dwarf asked, his grey eyebrows raised as he looked pointedly at Bilbo. "We can't have you along without your signature on it lad, assurance and all that."
I had a thought just now, my BlizzardClan leader Cinderstar is supposed to be a really evil cat (she follows the Dark Forest, and killed the leader before her to become leader, in the fanfic that I have her in she gets her nine lives from the DF instead of StarClan because SC would never give her lives XD) but where I'm trying to go with this is Ghostkit is supposed to be (at least partly) possessed by a DF cat, right? So what if Cinderstar somehow finds out about this when Ghostkit becomes an apprentice and tries to manipulate her into siding with her and the DF?
