WillowClan Camp: outside the medicine den ---> Clan meeting

Spidernose had remained outside of the medicine den, to allow Fernstar to go inside instead. She didn't want to overcrowd the den, even if she also wanted to make sure her hunting partner was going to be okay. She figured she could go and see him later, perhaps. That would have to wait, for as soon as Fernstar emerged, before the warrior could even get half of a word out to ask how Sunfur and Moosepaw were, the other she-cat had made her way to the middle of camp and called a Clan gathering. Throwing one last glance over her shoulder to the medicine den, Spidernose padded across to join the rest of the Clan, finding a spot between Duskwing and Stormheart and sitting down with her ears forward to listen to what Blackpelt had to say.
Her eyes shone as she looked up at their leader and medicine cat. A blessing and nine lives from StarClan themselves...they truly were to be a real Clan after all. "That's wonderful, Fernstar!" Spidernose purred in encouragement. "Congratulations!"

Spidernose helped Sunfur back to camp and into Blackpelt's den as quickly as was safely possible, keeping stride with the tabby tom the entire way and murmuring careful words of encouragement. Oh how she hoped he would be okay, what a way to join StarClan though, and all because she hadn't stopped to check whether a snake might have been hunting the same vole she'd gone after. Once they made it to the medicine den, she let Sunfur ease himself into a sitting position and dipped her head to the medicine cat politely, before she squeezed out of the den to wait outside, not wanting to get in Blackpelt's way and take up too much room. "Thanks for that, Duskwing." she mewed gratefully to their patrol leader as she passed them. "Sunfur's through there with Moosepaw now, hopefully Blackpelt's got everything he needs to fix them up."

Duskwing reacted in exactly the manner Spidernose had expected she would, and so the minute the other she-cat confirmed she would get the prey, Spidernose nodded and turned to dash right back to Sunfur. Once again, she braced her shoulder against the tabby's and helped him to haul his weight back onto his paws, taking most of it onto her own shoulder on the side where he was injured so he wouldn't put too much pressure on it. "Duskwing's got the prey, c'mon. We've gotta get you to Blackpelt so he can treat that bite." she promised, beginning the careful journey back towards WillowClan's camp.

Spidernose broke through the foliage just in time to see the fox turn tail and run. Thankfully, it had the sense not to try and fight a throng of four or five cats. She couldn't help but be a little bit relieved, if she was honest. Now she could tell Duskwing and the others what had happened to Sunfur, maybe get them to circle back for the prey while she got the tom back to camp so Blackpelt could look at that bite wound. The cream and brown she-cat's tail was nonetheless still puffed out at full volume as she skidded to a stop in front of the hunting patrol's leader, taking a moment to catch her breath back before she spoke again.
"Duskwing! Sunfur was bitten by a snake, he...he killed it so we can use it as fresh-kill, and I left a vole around the same place. Do you think whoever's not hurt could go pick them up? Don't know if...if the snake was poisonous, I need to get him to Blackpelt quickly..."
