Stubbornness Like his mother before him, Tahen can be a stubborn person. Sticking to his gut and not relenting. While he can see reason and compromise with others. Especially when on a mission and working with others. Once he is set on something, then it is hard to dissuade him. A trait that he knows can cause problems but also likes. Since it is this trait that allows him to keep holding on to native Drell ideas that his fellow young Drell would mostly give up.
Spiritual Like his parents, Tahen is a deeply spiritual person that follows the native Drell religion. Often praying in private and sometimes before a mission. It calms him when during a time of distress or crisis and has helped him get through some of the low points of his life. And stubbornly sticks it to, unlike other Drells who have shifted to other faiths. However, he does not have any problems with the diffident faiths of the galaxy and is tolerant of them. Just do not ask Tahen to change faiths, and you will be okay.
Focused When on a mission, Tahen is focused and tends to only talk when needed. Cool under pressure and brave when needed. Years of working alone as an assassin have made their mark on him. Rarely does he stray from his target and keeps to the plan unless plans go wrong. Which has the tendency to happen and more so when working with others. Either way, Tahen is focused on his task and rarely is distracted when on a mission.

Personal History ◢
Tahen was born like most Drell on the Hanar homeworld of Kahje. The eldest of three and living in one of the several climate-controlled dome cities. Growing up, Tahen was raised mainly by his father as his mother was still serving the Compact. A drive to honor the Hanar that saved their people was something that his father would remind him often. However, Tahen wished that he could see his mother more often and not on missions. Regardless, Tahen and his siblings often played with each other in the meantime and were raised in traditional Drell ways. Something that left a strong impression on him.
When Tahen was ten was when the horrible news came to light, for his mother had developed Kepral's Syndrome. A well-known Drell and an incurable illness that left the family devastated. Which despite the news and protests from Tahen and his siblings, Tahen's mother still chose to honor the Compact and would go on more missions until she was too ill to continue. She would die soon after, and Tahen would never understand why her mother chose to do this. To serve and honor the Compact instead of being with her family during her final days, starting to view the Compact and honoring it as unfavorable.
Years later, when he was fourteen did, tragedy strike his family again when his father developed Kepral's Syndrome. On his father's deathbed, did he wish for Tahen to take up the Compact like his mother before him. Tahen had reservations about it but ultimately decided on honoring his father's last wish. It helped that Tahen knew that his siblings would be well cared for without him, and he quickly took up the Compact.
Being trained as an assassin, Tahen spent seven years serving the Hanar. Hunting and killing those the Hanar deemed to be killed. It was during this time that he started to question the Compact. Sure helping the Hanar with tasks that were difficult for them was one thing. But being used as a weapon for them to do their dirty work. It did not feel right to Tahen felt more like this was a mistake. Which finally, Tahen convinced the Hanar to release him from the Compact. Now free from his binds, Tahen started to think about what to do with his newfound freedom.
With few skills outside of killing, Tahen chose to become a mercenary and spent the next three years doing mercenary work. It was just after a job that, while was completed, it left Tagen badly injured to the point that he had to use most of his money to cover the medical costs. Now very low on funds, he needed to earn money fast and started to have second thoughts about being a mercenary, and that was when a message come to him about an offer from ExoGeni. After thinking about it, despite some reservations, he chose to accept the offer and headed to Eden Prime to see what awaited him.
Combat Analysis ◢
Having taken up the Compact and been trained as a deadly assassin by the Hanar from a young age. Tahen prefers to engage his targets from close range if possible. Using a combination of stealth, biotics, martial arts, and firearms to kill his targets. Making him a deadly close combat specialist.
Reason for Vacating Previous Situation ◢
Tahen needed money quickly after a nearly disastrous job that while was completed. It left him badly injured, and he had to use most of his funds to afford the costs of medical treatment. So he chose to accept the offer from ExoGeni, despite him having some reservations about it. Now waiting to see what awaits him on Eden Prime.
The Galactic Alliance, a organization formed in the aftermath of the Great War four hundred years ago by the remaining powers of the region that united the known galaxy. Realizing that it is better for all that the region remains united in the case of another major threat. Since its founding, the known galaxy has been rebuilt and is at peace.
However, to say that there are no problems is an understatement. Pirates-plagued trade routes, terrorists, and rogue elements are gaining in power, and the Alliance's normal response to this, the Galactic Alliance Rangers, has been mixed in its efforts to curtail these developments.
The Galactic Alliance Rangers are a group that was founded two hundred years ago by the order of the Alliance Council. Overview
Background Info
The galaxy was a different place four hundred years ago, back when the known galaxy was divided between the six powers. The Tiron Union, the Autanian Commonwealth, the Sonriri Empire, the Insectoid Vryr'yks Republic, the High Koridorn Kingdom, and lastly, the Human United Earth Federation.
Back then, there was peace between the six powers, this would change due of the arrival of the Therns. A newcomer to the known galaxy, and while at first, they seemed peaceful though expansionist. They were secretly plotting to take over the six powers and claim their territory as their own. Though they had respect for the Vryr'yks as their cultures were similar and the two nations grew close. However, as tensions between the Therns and the rest of the six nations grew, two sides formed, and only the Vryr'yks Republic stayed neutral. Though both sides tried to court the Vryr'yks, and when the Therns discovered that the Vryr'yks were secretly planning on joining the other group. The Therns angered by this betrayal, they launched their invasion and started with the Vryr'yks. The Vryr'yks were caught by surprise and were unable to fight the Therns. The Therns burned their worlds and exterminated the Vryr'yks. Sending a warning to the rest about the price for defying them and reveling their true nature.
This caused the remaining five powers to unite into the Solar Alliance and the war between the Alliance and the Therns called the Great War lasted for five years before the Therns were defeated and were seemly wiped out. The Alliance's winning ace in the war was the secret weapon, the Vindicator. A powerful ship that while it was destroyed during the final battle of the war, its massive firepower secured the Solar Alliance's victory over the Therns.
Things were simpler back then, before the Collapse. Back when we had contact and the support of Earth, and the Wormhole was still active. Funny thing that wormhole when humanity found it and discovered that habitable worlds were on the other side. A bunch of them, and more would be discovered. Colony after colony ship was sent through the wormhole to settle these virgin worlds.
Only it was not to last, as the wormhole that led to a new era of colonization and exploration suddenly collapsed. No one knows for sure what caused the Collapse. Only theories, but with the sudden collapse of the wormhole. All of Earth's colonies in the region were cut off and were now on their own. Which caused chaos and panic in the early days of the Collapse.
As time went on and as the colonies stabilized. Two nations arose from the ashes of the Collapse. The Almoran Union and the Independent Worlds Pact. While relations were friendly at first between the nations. But as the two nations grew and accepted more colonies into their folds. Still, tensions started to form.
Which the two sides would come to war over a strategic colony of Fero, and once it was clear the world would join the Pact. The Union attacked first in a surprise attack and started what would be called the Unification War. Only once Fero was in Union hands, they did not stop and kept going. Further and further into Pact territory, and it became clear that the true goal of the war was. The complete annexation of Pact territory and the end of the Pact.
The Pact countered the Union with everything it had and scored victories against Union forces, keeping them at bay for a time. But it was not enough, and the war would end at the Battle of Onyx, where the Pact military made their last stand, only to fail and be destroyed.
The Almoran Union quickly consolidated and solidified its hold over its new territories, and while there would be uprisings against its rule. Most would be put down, though some rebel groups would survive, but are barely a threat to the Union. That and the rest of the few independent worlds in the region would join the Union fold, seeing how there were now few ways they could defend themselves from Union orders to join the Union. Only the world of New Canaan would dare resist, and it would be greatly crushed and brought into the Union Fold.
Now, in the current day, five years after the unification of the human colonies. The Union has largely left the former Pact worlds they deemed low priority or of lesser importance in comparison to other worlds alone. These worlds are called the Lesser Worlds, and since the Union cares less about them. This has created an opportunity for those seeking to make a living away from Union control. The crew of the Firebrand is among those seeking a life away from the Union. A life rife with both opportunity and danger, but such is the life in the Lesser Worlds.
Time to see how the crew of the Firebrand handles themselves in this world, and how they deal with unexpected events in their time with the Firebrand.

Overview
Hello and welcome to the rp. So in this rp, you will be playing as the crew of the Firebrand, a modified transport ship. Which said crew operates by taking on various jobs to stay afloat. Some legitimate, some not, but as long as the job pays well, it may not matter. This is the life of the crew of the Firebrand during their stay in the Lesser Worlds.
Which your characters have a reason of their own for wanting to live in the Lesser Worlds and join the crew of the Firebrand. Unless they are from the Lesser Worlds in the first place. It can be any role, as long as it makes sense for them to be on the ship and with the crew. Also, I will be allowing people to add stuff to the setting when making a character, as long as it does not contradict anything I have written. Especially when it comes to your character's homeworld, which you can customize to your wishes.
Now for the setting, the year is 2445, and the rp is set 200 years after the Collapse, and five years after the Unification War.
The plot of the rp will be handled in arcs, but with an overarching plot that will start with the second arc rather than the first arc. The first arc is more for establishing the characters and the setting.
For character pics, go with real face claims.
If anyone has any questions, then feel free to ask. Plus, I am looking for Co-Gms and if anyone wants the job. Then either PM me or say something in the thread.

Human Space
What is known as Human Space is located in Almoran Union. The Union while has well-developed worlds, more so in its core system. In general, Union space is a mix of worlds of varying levels of development, thanks to the Collapse. While some worlds recovered to pre-Collapse levels, other worlds were not so lucky and remained behind other, more fortunate worlds. In the case of the Lesser worlds. Where the Union considers them a low priority and has left them on their own for various reasons. They are mainly low-developed worlds, barring a few worlds. However, the Lesser Worlds still have Union garrisons and ships to ensure they stay in Union hands, along with Union assigned governors to each of the Lesser Worlds.
Also, there are worlds in human space that have non-sentient alien life and even alien ruins on them. Which the Union, and formerly the Pact, have made efforts to research these ruins. Which the illegal selling and smuggling of alien artifacts is quite profitable.
Lesser Worlds
The Lesser Worlds, as they are called by the Almoran Union. The Lesser Worlds are a collection of worlds located in former Pact space and number at 30 worlds. Most are low-developed except for the hub worlds, which are decently developed in order to handle the trade and commence in the Lessor Worlds.
Unification War
What is called the Unification War, though there are other names for it by dissents, such as the War of Aggression or the Union Conquest War. The war was started by the Almoran Union in a surprise attack to at first seize the world of Fero, but later to invade and conquer the Independent Worlds Pact. The war lasted seven years and ended in Union victory. Which the Union was quick to establish control over its new territories and convinced the few independent colonies left to join them. Barring the independent world of New Canaan, which resisted and was conquered.
Almoran Union
The Almoran Union was formed thirty-five years ago when the colonies in the Almorean system united under one banner. Centered around the world of New Carthage, which serves as its capital. The Almoran Union spent the next thirty-five years expanding by convincing other colonies to join for collective defense and the sharing of resources. This made the Union grow, but as time passed, the Union encountered the Independent Worlds Pact. Did the Union start to become more aggressive in recruiting other independent colonies to their side. To the point of intimidating weaker colonies into joining them.
When the Union started the Unification War, though it was not called that at the time. It took five years for the Union to defeat and conquer the Pact. Quickly establish control over its new territories and force the rest of the independent worlds to submit, barring the world of New Canaan, which was conquered. Rebel groups and uprisings would form, and while most were put down. Few rebel groups remain, but they are a negligible threat to the Union at this time.
The Union has a president and a prime minister. The prime minister is the one in charge of the government, while the president chooses who becomes the prime minister and has other powers. The current Prime Minister of the Almoran Union is Yasmin Atiyeh, and the President is Cael Kemp.
FTL
Human FTL is based on the Hyperpoint drive. A drive that is able to travel faster than light by accessing a dimension called Hyperspace by creating a Hyperpoint and travelling through it until they reach their destination.
Technology
So what technology is generally available is what follows. AI though limited, laser weapons but limited to spec ops, magnetic weapons(coilgun, railgun), cybernetics, FTL, cryostasis, and hovercraft.
That is it and if anyone has any questions, then feel free to ask. I am also looking for one CO-GM and if anyone is interested, then either say something in the thread or PM me.

It has been ten years since the end of the cataclysmic Galactic War. A war fought between the two great powers of the galaxy. The United Systems League and the Tiberian Empire. A war that spread throughout the galaxy as both sides and their allies fought and caused devastation to most of the galaxy. The war ended with no clear winner and only made peace as the war entered into a stalemate, and neither side could defeat the other. So, as both sides work to rebuild their territories, some think that one day, since both sides still have unresolved issues with the other. A second Galactic war could happen again, and people feel uneasy at that thought.
But unbeknownst to most, there is a conflict going on in the remote desert world of Yuita. A world that managed to escape the horrors and devastation of the Galactic War and remained intact. It even saw some immigration by refugees and others who sought a new start and somewhere that was not damaged by the war.
However, this conflict can have ramifications for the galaxy. The conflict being a civil war between the Vigil of Order and the Disciples of Fire. Two groups that once were apart of the same group, simply called the Order. Founded by a human veteran of the Galactic War, Daven Tun, for he experienced something during the war. Something that he believes saved his life, and after performing an experiment to prove to himself what he experienced. He left the USL military and went to gather those that he could sense who had the same ability that he has and moved to the Yuita for its remoteness and a place that Daven could sense had a strong Source presence on it. For what Daven experienced during the war was the ability to manipulate what he would later call the Source.
The Source as the Order would explore and study. It is a force found in all living things, but only a few have the ability to manipulate and control it. Gaining access to a host of Source based abilities. But as the Order experimented and studied the Source. Did they discover that a Source user's abilities are based on emotions and the more powerful emotion, the more powerful the ability. Which after learning this, two ideologies formed within the Order. One based on strict control of one's emotions, and the other based on embracing one's emotions.
While at first, the two sides were civil with each other, but as time passed. There were debates over the Order's future, and when the debates became intense. Daven had to intervene many times to keep the peace. Then, one day, after a particularly nasty debate. Daven disappeared, and both sides blamed each other for his disappearance, soon without Daven's presence. A civil war erupted between the two sides, now the Vigil of Order and the Disciples of Fire.
Now, with the two sides fighting for the future of their ideologies and the Order. A call by an archaeologist on Yuita for assistance. For she is studying the ancient ruins that lie on Yuita and is asking for both assistants and security while the archaeologist's hired help do not know it yet. But their actions will determine the fate of not just the Vigil and the Disciples but also the planet itself.

In the beginning, there was nothing but chaos. In that chaos, a being slowly came into form. Xalsyn it would call itself, and after spending untold time in chaos by itself. Xalsyn, tired of the loneliness, decided on making others to keep itself company. The firstborn of Xalsyn, as they would later be called, were two beings. Imthar and Niagi, brothers they were. One of light and one of darkness.
At first, there was peace between the three of them, and seeing the empty void that was chaos. Xalsyn wanted to make something for its sons. So it created the first planet, Teunia, and filled it with life. Along with something for its sons, a divine spark that would form into others begins like its sons. Not as strong or powerful but, something to keep its sons' company, and Xalsyn would soon depart and make the rest of the universe.
With their parent gone, Imthar and Niagi would be friendly with each other for a time. Exploring the world that their parent has created and once the divine sparks have formed into beings. These Secondborn, or Titans as they would be called. They came under the rule of the Firstborn. Imthar and Niagi would rule jointly as kings of Teunia. But this arrangement would not last.
For as the years went by, both Imthar and Niagi would grow wary of each other. For it was during these times that the brothers started to see what their nature really was. Imthar the Lord of Light, was compassionate, friendly, and acted with grace. Niagi the Lord of Darkness, was petty, cruel, and acted with malice. Without Xalsyn to act as a mediator between the two. The relations between the two sons started to break down as neither wanted the other to be King of Teunia.
Both brothers started to court the Titans to their side, and it would be Niagi that would strike first. Starting the Firstborn War. The war lasted for years before the two brothers would meet in a final clash. The fight was intense as the two brothers moved with such speed and power that no Titan would dare try to join the fight for fear of death. In the end, Imthar and Niagi would kill each other and leave the Titans without a leader.
However, while they did die, their souls did not. For they would linger in Teunia and the Titans of both sides tried to take the souls for themselves to restart the war and become king. Only when they tried it, it ended in death. The Titans realized that no one could handle the power of a Firstborn, as any that tried to use the power of a Firstborn soul would die within a minute of taking on the soul. So seeing how they could not take on the souls of the Firstborn, they decided on hiding the souls away from those that may try to experiment with them and once they were done. The surviving Titans made peace with each other and worked to rebuild their world as the war left it in ruins.
So the Titans rebuilt the world and soon their children. The Thirdborn or, as they would be known, the Gods. Started to mature and pave the way to the world that the mortals would know. New life was created, the first mortals were born, and new land was made. But, while the Gods grew and thrived. The Titans declined, and soon they would depart for the remote places of Teunia, and they could rest in peace or fulfill their duties in peace.
All but for one though, the Titan Ryborh, the new king of the Gods, and later the Fourthborn, also called the Gods. He would stay active and lead his divine brethren, at first, he was a good king. But as time passed as the Fourthborn were growing. He became more tyrannical and cruel. Paranoid that someone might try and take his throne in his old age. His actions would lead to some of the Gods to rise up against him. Started the Divine civil war and split the Gods between those loyal to Ryborh and those seeking to end his rule.
Now it has been a year into the war, and neither side has the edge over the other. But, the rebels from their secret base called Sanctuary, a place hidden deep within the planet. Are still no closer to ending Ryborh's rule and freeing Teunia from his tyranny. This is where our tale starts and the rebels' journey to overthrow Ryborh and free the world from his tyrannical rule. If they can, that is.

Overview
Hello, and so the premise of the rp is that the gods of Teunia are currently in a civil war. Those that support the King of the Gods, the Titan Ryborh, and the rebels, those that rose up against his rule. In the rp, you will be playing as gods, either the Thirdborn or Fouthborn, that have joined up with the rebels. So the rp will be primarily PvE
Thirdborn and Fourthborn
Now what I mean by Thirdborn and Fourthborn is that it is both a generational thing and power thing. As in being a Thirdborn or Fourthborn means you are either the third or fourth generation of divines that are descended from Xalsyn's power. Even though the Firstborn did not have any descendants, the Secondborn were still created by Xalsyn but not as directly as the Firstborn were.
So when it comes to power, while the Third and Fourthborn are similar in power levels. The Secondborn are more powerful than the Third and Fourthborn. This is due to the Secondborn being created indirectly by Xalsyn. The Thirdborn are the children of the Secondborn and are a generation removed from Xalsyn's power. So while still powerful in their own right and divine and with the Fourthborn being children of the Secondborn and still on the sameish level of their parents. They are not as powerful as a Secondborn. Though it is not to say a Third or Fourthborn could not win in a fight with a Secondborn. It just means you should probably get some help with taking down a Secondborn if you are planning on doing it.
Also, the Fourthborn are the newest generation of gods and are still considered new to the world and to the gods. Plus, having the least experience overall and being around the least.
Neutrals
Now there are those among the gods that are neutral during the civil war. Choosing to not take a side and simply wait out the war. Though Ryborh has shown his disdain for those that choose to be neutral and not fight at his side. He has yet to do anything about it. Despite this, some have shown to be willing to offer safety for those wounded in the war or have taken it upon themselves to safeguard the mortal races that find themselves in the crossfire.
The most powerful of these neutral gods are the Three. The three gods that deal with the cycle of life and death. Anera, the Goddess of Life, Voi, the God of Souls and Ezla the Goddess of Death. Together they pose a serious threat but for now. They are focused on maintaining the cycle and are not interested in the war.
