I am sorry to say this, but something has come up and I cannot run the rp right now. But I will bring this rp back sometime later.

Forgot to do this, @Avis Hunter, @Skwint, @Raine. Just to make sure you all know about the rp being live.

Camp Athens - Closed

"Well....," Leo sounded a bit shy."My father is Ares, and despite me being on bad terms with him. He sent me a message about coming here for my safety." He would chuckle a bit,"The only reason I am here is because my mother thought that since a god warned me about being safe, that I should listen anyway." Leo would sigh at the words, hopefully, he is not making a mistake being here. "So here I am in camp and getting my bearings."

"Though if bad things can happen at camp, then I kinda wonder why I am here." Anger started to slowly rise in him. "He said he wanted me to be safe, but if this is some kind of trick to make me into a proper warrior, then...." Leo clenched his fists and was noticeably angered. But he soon reigned it back and tried to calm down. His fists unclenched after a bit and relaxed. "Like I said, not on good terms with my father but, I hope he is not trying to trick me or anything." Still sounding a bit annoyed. Ares not showing up at camp or trying to talk to him would be the best for Leo in his mind. But if the war god were to actually show his face to Leo, Leo does not know what would happen.

After some more calming down, "No, I have not seen the armory and I would not mind a tour." Leo following the direction of where Duke pointed with his head. Seeing the armory building in the distance."Since I may need something from it if something bad happens, and it can, it sounds like." Leo is noticeably calmer now, despite the threat of danger, and sounds a bit curious."But, since I said who my father was, who is your godly parent?" Leo hoping that Duke has a better relationship with his godly parent than he has with Ares.

"Oh your is mother is Athena, that is cool." Sofia remarked friendly, trying to hide her anxiety about being a child of Hades. "We are just here to train? That's it?" Sofia looking a bit confused."I was not told about that, just that this place is supposed to be safe for demi-gods and that is about it." If the main goal of the camp is to train demi-gods, then what are they training for? Sofia wondered in her thoughts. "Though I see there is still danger about and good to know." Sofia trying not to sound disappointed at the truth despite her own expectations about camp.

Sofia went wide-eyed when Heath told her that not only that Pandora's box was real but it had been used against the campers. "That is very concerning Heath and.... I guess this place is not as safe as I thought." Sofia looked concerned and took a moment to think before continuing. Wondering if Hades had anything to do with it. But, thought against asking it, for now at least.

Sofia felt mostly relieved by Heath's words. More so when he spoke about the other Hades kid in camp who is respected and not an outcast. She felt relieved enough that she smiled a bit. "That is good to hear, Heath, I want you to know what since... My mother told me about some of the stuff Hades has done, and I thought that perhaps the people here might treat me badly by association." The last bit of anxiety slowly going away. "The sins of the father and whatnot." She would sigh with relief and looked better. "Still, I know now that at least people will not hate me for being a Hades kid, and you do not have to worry, Heath. I will not try to mess anything up or anything bad." Hopefully, she thought, since she was sure that demi-gods can still be pricks and she is not afraid to throw down. Though she thought to maybe ease up here since these are demi-gods and not normal humans.

Sofia had a curious look on her face. "Though about the Hades kid you mentioned, Mason. Do you know where he is? Just since I kinda want to meet him, my half-brother, but not now. We are still talking here, but for the future. Where can I find him?"

Lost World: The Lost Continent

So you want to be an explorer and an adventurer, eh? Well, I am sorry to say, but in this world of ours. There is not much many places left to explore you see. Unless you wish to explore the frozen and freezing Arctic, Antarctica, or the wide ocean. Then I am you may be saddened at your prospects.

Yes, it is unfortunate, but in our current age, everything that has been found has been explored and thoroughly. Which is most of the world at his point. So you may as well think about things and see what else you can do with your life.

But, I proposition for you if you are still interested in the exploration and adventuring life. For I am looking for volunteers for an expedition I am funding. For you see, I am aware of a forgotten piece of land that to most would deem a fake or forgery. A place that modern civilization has yet to explore, and is a place untouched by time. A place if the legends and my information is true, actually exists and is within reach of the expedition.

But you say, how could this place still be unexplored? For this forgotten land is nearly impossible to access due to several reasons. But I have found a way to access and travel to his forgotten land. By airship no less.

Now, a truly lost world is waiting for you. I am very eager to fund an expedition to explore this lost world. I will be leading the expedition, so I will be right with you in the thick of it once we reach this new world.

If you are willing to join my expedition to this lost world. Then follow the instructions in this letter, and I wish you luck with this endeavor. Hopefully, we can see this untouched land for ourselves, and I will see you there.

Overview

Hello and welcome to the rp. So in this rp, you will be playing as members of an expedition sent out to explore a land either known as the Lost World or the Lost Continent. You can be whatever role you wish as long as it makes sense for them to be in the expedition. Which the people the expedition is mainly recruiting are explorers, scientists, soldiers, and engineers if people need help with figuring out a role to play as. But you can play a role outside of those four if you wish, as long as it makes sense to them to be there.

Also, since this is a Steampunk rp, but still set in the real world and characters can be from real world nations. It means while you will have access to real world weapons and equipment. The rp is set in 1890. You can still have steampunk weapons and gear. More so since the expedition will be travelling to the Lost World by airship. Just keep it reasonable, and it will be fine. Plus, you can assume that history up to this point remains the same, bearing some differences since this is a steampunk setting. But nothing major.

Now, things to know about the Lost World or the Lost Continent, dinosaurs are a thing, and will be encountered along with other extinct animals. Plus, a lost civilization, nonhuman sentients, and more, waiting to be discovered. Also, while magic is considered not real in the world. In the Lost World, magic is very much real, but it will not be obvious at first.

I do not know about that since that might just clogged the rp section the rp will start in. Like if we got nine players, then nine threads and would fill the rp section with that. I need to think about that.

I will decide what season the rp will start but probably spring and not winter.

I will start the thread, but since only two people have shown interest, and only one around, that being you. I need to think if I want to start the rp with only me and you.
