Role call! Who's still interested? The deadline for submitting character applications is Sunday morning MST.
Gameplay will be loosely D&D-style, with the GM describing the environment, and player characters will make choices and propose actions for the GM to evaluate. No dice, though.
All approved new magic spells will be documented in a Master List of Spells (post #0).

Ah, spellbooks are SO much more useful than they appear. There are all kinds of crazy ways to make them work for you. Regular old fantasy tomes like you read about in Dungeons and Dragons are just kindling for the furnace compared with what a real tome can do. I won't spoil it here - you'll learn more ingame. For now, let's just say that using it as a notebook or diary is a simplistic (though valid) way to use this remarkable tool.
Sure! Consider fixing the images first, though. They're only showing up as links, not as images. I would arrange it like so:

There's an interesting character. I'd like to see how she figured out the arts of healing and necromancy. That'll be a story for the ages, no? ;)

Flickr lets you set the publicity settings of your account and photos. If you don't want anyone to find or see them, you can control that from Settings.

Find a site to upload your images to and link to that. I prefer Flickr, since you can downsize large images however you want and link directly to whatever size image you pick. Other uploading sites, to my knowledge, don't let you do that.
EDIT: You can also use PicResize, but it's really finnicky and doesn't always register images as valid images. The connection isn't secure either, so use it at your own risk.

Yeah, that's not a bad idea. Darcy is kind of getting on in years, so he might leave our characters in charge while he goes take a nap or something. Then Ed and Sofie can have a heart-to-heart talk.
