Can I just say that the characters I've seen thus far are fantastic? Seriously, y'all are awesome.

@tobiax Sounds good to me. Dracula and Frankenstein are both relatively specific myths/tales, so a Lindworm-based character is excellent. Now we just need our fourth person to have a connection to... well, some form of monster, if they can think of something reasonably specific, rather than a generic creature like werewolves or ghosts. If we're talking werewolves, maybe Beowulf's Grendel? Or Norse mythology's Fenrir, or what have you.
I like it. I can mix in some other things too. I thought Grendel was more of a troll... but okay. Fenrir is sick tight. And if we do get a werewolf themed character (who'd be more fun as not a Faunus I think?) we'd have the four classic monsters.

@BCTheEntityIn short, the Lindworm was a dragon of noble linage that demanded a bride and ate princesses, until one clever princess was able to not only make it not eat her, but turn him into a handsome prince. In a nutshell at least. It's from Slavic folklore I think. But, again, I could alter into any particular one based on backstory. I could just be a dragon in general.
EDIT: I'm gonna also say, your character's Semblance seems very similar to Nora's. Just so you know.
I know. But it's the execution where it varies. And getting hit by lightning doesn't help Aven or power him up, so Nora would actually wipe the floor with him, just saying.
Monsters from folklore and mythology might be better, as my character has a slight Frankenstein/"Modern-Day Prometheus" vibe to them.

@BCTheEntityAlmost, but Turboshifter's character inspiration is adamant, and not technically a villain. You could PM him/her I guess if you want to know it, but I don't think he/she's comfortable with it being public knowledge yet, or how flexible he/she might be, or if he/she'd be okay with me telling you, even if personally.
@Mangrale Alternately, if I may offer, Team VNLA, ironically, seems to be drawing from some of the darker edges of literature/backstory, just a bit. Granted, we don't have a solid theme, and I don't have a specific backstory, inspiration, or weapon, we can discuss that later. So, if you're okay with that, and us, you could be the L in VNLA. (I mean we have Vlad Țepeș Dracula, something potentially from Oz, which got pretty messed up, and my tentative Lindworm stuff. I'm considering going Lancelot or Gawain and the Green Knight, depending on how everyone else wants to go.)
@BCTheEntityHuh, silly me I forgot it was you who submitted Vlad. I'm in the works to find an inspiration with Turboshifter, as he/she has his/her character fairly well planned out. We can find the pins that match between your two characters, and have my inspiration match still. Now, had you gone the more Strahd vonZarovich angle instead of the Dio angle, it may have bee easier. Still, we have room for tweaks and figuring things out.
