Apollo thought for a moment, sitting down and placing one hand on his chin. "Now, I don't know if its possible but...perhaps we could use the disillusionment charm or even the color changing charm on just your earring. Sure it wouldn't be visible to all but at least you wouldnt have to take it out right? Like a silent rebellion or something." There was a wicked grin on his face as he spoke, the same grin when he has the idea of going against school rules for a little fun. It quickly escaped as he laid back onto the chair and tilted his head up. "Any longer and we could go out and find these death Eaters on our own. No, no, that doesn't mean we can go out for a stroll and look for them. It's still way above our grading and I doubt we'd stand a chance against people willing to use the unforgivable curses." There was a long sigh followed by a pause of silence in the air.

He shifted in his seat as he gave the two girls an eye. "Studying quartet? No slytherins aloud? Uh...Man this whole naming thing is hard. I think it Bestow work together on it hehe. However if an Auror came in here I think theyd send us all to the looney bin. What with Arty over here acting like the mad lad he is. " he laughed at Mary's question about the earrings and gave a nod to Artemis letting him know that he was going to be the one to explain this horrid yet brilliant muggle coding that was so dated it made Apollos eyes roll. Granted the rest of the world didnt seem to agree and if allowed some semblance of secrecy to help one pass by then so be it.

Salem listened intently to Victor as he spoke. Nodding in affirmation even if he couldnt see. As they retrieved the orb of Sorrow he paused for a moment and then spoke in a low and somber voice. "What drives you...pushes you and haunts you... What is it that does so for you? What sorrow are you holding onto that may come forth and face us in the following challenge. You mentioned trust, and a part of that is allowing others to see into your sorrows and being open with one another." He thought back on the countless times he has now been invaded by mental magics and began to understand how Victor could keep himself so guarded. The more who knew of his weaknesses the easier it would become to prey on him. After all who wouldnt want to prey on an Astorio? Salem cleared his throat before continuing on "I need to know what we might face so that we're better prepared for what's to come." Though surely would tell him that he should always be prepared for the inevitable and that that was how victories were taken.

As the pair approached the table Salem described the scene laid out before them leading Victor towards one chair and then climbing off him and taking the seat across from his vampire. “With this choice, you’ve chosen the game. Take a seat with orb in hand and place it in the center stand. Wait a moment and then you’ll see what challenge awaits your misery. Guess the names with only clues given carefully to you. If you win, the orb you keep otherwise away you weep.” he read it aloud to him as he sat and began to grow concerned with the mentioning of a game. Ofcourse they would turn someones emotions into a sick game, that's all theyd done with Salem thus far so why not do the same to his vampire? "Whenever you're ready I will guide your hands to place the orb on its holder." Suddenly there was a loud scream in the distance. A woman most likely taking the exam. Salem sat there and wondered what horrors this might bring and look at Victor "Should we check that scream out? It could just be a challenger face their trials like us or...it could be the killer again. This would be the perfect time to attack, vampires incapacitated, mages alone to fend for two."

Demetri couldnt help but roll his eyes as Alannah butted in to their conversation. He wanted to say something snarky, letting her know this wasnt her place to speak nor was her advice wanted. But he didn't want to make a bad impression in front of ginger over here. If Zeke was going to be gone and he was the only eye candy to ogle them he may as well befriend him instead of clashing heads. That was reserved for a special someone. He simply smiled at Alannah as he turned to face her , his back now leaning against the wooden wall so as to keep bother her and Jason in his field of sight. "Well I am a shapeshifter, so any space is actually quite fine. First few days at Zeus's cabin I remained as a cat to help stay near Andy since we had no proper bedding and only had a singular sleeping bag to use. Besides a cats purr is said to help calm peoples emotions and sleep better so really I'd make an excellent cuddle or spooning partner if that's how you want to view the arrangement. But that's fine if he wants to sleep alone."

Demetri turned his back to her in order to give Jason his full attention now. "Ares huh? Well I cant say the ginger hair is a bit on the nose but hey most of these demi-gods have some form of resemblance or another. You'll get used to it in time I suppose. Whether you care for your godly parent or not. Leda seems pretty keen on doing prayer and services to them, that's the blonde who just left off. Andy is my half sister, shes the smaller girl with lightning blue eyes. Andy is I guess my cousin or half cousin, child of Hades and hes around Andy's age. Honestly its been a bit rough for those two...anyways um Rebecca I just met seems super cool and that leaves Mary I suppose. It's a bit of a lot but I'm sure we'll grow close in this small encampment on the way to the Roman's. If you ever need me my doors always open for you Jason." Demetri pushed himself off the wall and made his way into the room in front of where he saw Rebecca go in.

Matthew watched as Colby swiped a piece of his meal, eyes widening in shock then settling down into submission as he realized he should've seen it coming. He continued to eat when Tinker Bell suddenly looked at her phone and began to leave. "Wait, um..." his voice was low and meek as she finally finished getting her things and left out the door. Matthew stared at the paper on the table for a moment before respond to the girls. "Mines is name Carroll..." He grabbed the paper after having seen Layla take a picture of thr address and then placed it in his pocket. Looking down at the table as he built up the courage to ask them.

Several bites of food later and Matthew finally spoke up. "I'd hate to ask this but...Tinkerbel- I mean Tink, drove us here and Colbys car was left at the park. Is there a way we could get a ride back there so we arent walking all the way to our apartment and then to this address? Itd be greatly appreciated." He tried to give his most charming smile, one of a lost child wishing to be given a hand in a time of desperation. Though perhaps they wouldnt fall for it, but he Hope's they would help.

Apollo looked onto the scene of the two hugging, noting that Callum hadn't done much and then hearing Georginas surprise that he was here at all. He hadn't really done much while visiting the compartment and he wasn't quite sure if they would double up on their cabins search. Where they truly just waltzing in and inspecting with the naked eye? Did they have some form of potion eye dropped into their eyes to give them a form of true sight like in D&D? It was hard to say and all he could do was wish that he was able to read Callums mind to help set him at ease more. Not just to see if he was a traitor, but also to see what else they knew about these death eaters that had escaped. As he stood there contemplating he felt a harsh tug on his arm as his body was pulled into a group hug.

His face was squished, and cheek pressed against someones shoulder as he fought for a moment before giving into the scene and hugging it out. "Legillimens or not, sometimes you still manage to surprise me. I do think matching study shirts could be a smashing idea. Though I suppose we should have a name for them as well, see about using this neeto charm I found to help add embroidery or something onto the shirts. It'll be totally rad when we're done with 'em!: Apollo pulled away and nodded at Mary as she mentioned changing into school robes. It did sound like the proper thing to do, his eyes making their way towards the door as he followed the sounds of Auror footsteps drawing nearer and nearer.

"It's not about helping one over the other. You think you're doing what you have to to survive but all you're doing is having the same mentality as humans do. The X-men might sound lovely but even I know they're too small minded. They focus on showing the world that mutants arent a threat by helping humans all the while they neglect their own kind to suffer like I have at the hands of my parents. You say I know nothing of suffering but you dont know what I've been through, its clear your telepathy is more surface thoughts than anything meaningful. My own blood through me against the wolves of purifiers for who I am. They allowed for me to be persecuted and I had to fend for myself. I stole, hid, and did what I had to to survive but not once did I raise my hand against the others. There are ways out of a mess without the need to fight. You need only look for them." Max's gaze switched from the group and moved from individual to individual as he spoke to them.

"You turned the humans against each other and made them fight themselves, you could have easily done the same to calm them down and end the protest but you didnt. You launched an extremely heavy metal disc at them at the heat of the moment, Wouldnt it have been simpler to use your powers to affect metals on them? Binding them, making them bow, anything that didnt involve harm? As for you two you speak as if death and fighting is the only resolution while all you're doing is stoking the flames to have them go after weaker mutants who are just afraid and trying to survive. The Morlocks were slaughtered by purifiers led by anger and vengeance caused by the hate you sew. Xavier's methods may not be fully right but surely there is a compromise in the middle of your mutant homeland and his want to show the public we are not the monsters they claim us to be."

Jinx began to slowly clap his bound hands as Max finished speaking, cutting him off a bit too early towards the end. "Wooooow. What a rousing speech from the candy man. Everyone give him a bit of applause." His words were thick with sarcasm as pink energy crackled around his hands and quickly fizzled. Annoyance began to overcome his face as he made his way down and began to head towards the sewers. "Listen blondie, this isn't a princess movie where you sweep in, giving a speech and do a little dance number and everyone is suddenly on your side helping. This is the real world, cold, cruel, and full of danger. These insects out there dont care for you or what you do and will go after you regardless because you're different and that just scares them." A brilliant flash of pink erupted around his hands and the bindings blew off. Jinx began to rub his wrists slowly before cracking his neck.

"You're either helping build this homeland or your condemning your own to the slaughter. It's your choice and you need to make it before its too late to cross that mine. If Anastasia here says you're with us then I'll avoid killing you for now. But if I get even a whiff that you might be some Xavier trash spy then you're lifes as good as mine. Capiche? Good. Now lets get a move on before some purifiers head here and I go on a murder spree." Jinx hopped down into the sewers and awaited the others.

"Changling, I like that. Sounds much cooler than shapeshifter in my opinion. I'm not sure how much magic I'll be able to learn but I'm always willing to give things a try. So I suppose I'll see you later." there was a slightly twisted smile on his face as a chill ran down his spine at Rebccas last words. He waved her goodbye and then noticed the fiery haired Adonis before him. Well, not actually Adonis, but he was definitely cute. Two steps in and he heard Leda mention offering prayer and food to Zues and Demetri couldnt help but roll his eyes. "Give him the fat and bones like he chose so many eons ago. he doesn't deserve much more" That last part was spoken under his breath, barely a whisper as he continued onward towards the ginger haired boy.

Demetri leaned against the wall opposite of him, arm placed above his head as he leaned on the wood and look at him. "Hey, names Demetri. You're new in camp right? Sorry that you came during such a hectic time. It's been uh...dark. Buuuut adventure is out there and you took a chance at it, as did your...sister? I remember her claiming but I cant say I recall yours. Who seems to be your Demi-daddy or mom? Mines Zues which apparently is a big deal but honestly makes it feel lonely you know? Anyways care for a roommate? Or cabin buddy to help pass the time on this ship?" The chances that they batted for the same team were slim to none, but if ginger here happened to play for his side he wasnt going to waste the opportunity of a week long cruise with him. And Rebecca with magic ofcourse and his Sister who he had no doubt may want to hang during this time.

Matthew stared at his plate for a while longer, thinking back on Carroll at home. There wasn't exactly anyone he could turn to to take care of his cat. Sure there was his friend but...if he wasnt sure how long he would be gone then perhaps it would become a bother and strain for them to upkeep her. No, he needed to take her with him to Arcadia and hope for the best. Matthew scooped up another bite of chicken and proceeded to eat again while the others conversed. Listening to each concerns and Tinks answers to the whole mess. He was so enraptured in his own mind that he hardly heard Layla's final jab at the pair, absentmindedly staring off into space as he began to wonder about what exactly Arcadia would look like, how its atmosphere may differ from where they are now, as well as if he would be able to obtain some form of power there.

"Sounds like it's all settled then. We'll each bring out cats, take some time to pack up for the trip, and then venture off into the unknown." Matthew gave a smile to the group as he plopped another bite into his mouth, finishing the piece before continuing. "For now why dokt we just enjoy our meals, get to know each other a little better and enjoy the last meal we'll have in Kansas before we're off to see the wizard." Matthew grabbed his chopsticks and snagged a piece of sweet and sour chicken from Colbys plate before eating it and giving him a cheeky smile that said "mine now"

"Now that sounds like a marvelous evening of fun! Testing out the limits of a magical device while practicing some subtle magic, subterfuge, and illusory spell work? Count me in Mary Winthrop! Now if you'll excuse me I think I'll-" Apollo went to go create another barrier when suddenly the compartment door opened and there stood a man hugging Georgina. Apollos wand arm stiffened and was pointed right at the man until they began to speak, telling them how he was her uncle and was one of the Aurors assigned to this duty. Georgina and Callum each seemed to sing praise for one another but aside from that not much else was done. A compliment here about his spell work but nothing noteworthy in terms of an inspection. His wand hand loosened and fell to his side as his shoulders relaxed and he looked onto the scene.

Apollo popped into Artemis's mind for a moment as he began to think about what was going on. "I'm not so sure about this guy. He was with her father when he died and he is here looking for the escaped Death Eaters? What if he's aiding them? Turned dark?" Arty looked shocked at the idea and then squinted at his brother. "Really? Really? Have you been watching all those muggle consipracy shows again? He's basically Georgina's uncle! He wouldn't do that to her!" Apollo sighed and got one last look at Callum before he left the compartment. Sizing him up to see how genuine he seemed about what he was doing and Georgina. Artemis seemed right, maybe he was being paranoid. "Thank you Auror Callum, forball your hard work."

Max was a bit taken aback by Polaris' sudden shift in attempt to be kind. He wasn't exactly sure what her angle was or if it was simply her disorder kicking in. Ana's frustration seemed more than a bit apparent as she pinched the bridge of her nose in what could only be an attempt to stay out of the current situation. That seemed to be the end of it, that is until Leighton began to laugh at the situation at hand. There was shock in his eyes, his pupils dilating as he watched his only friend laugh at him until a small smile crept up on his face and he began to laugh too. Life didn't always have to be so grim and serious, it was important to take the little things that made us laugh and enjoy them while we could with people you love. He wiped a small tear away from his eye as he followed the green haired mutant through and out of the tunnels, watching her float on over towards a Yatch with the escapees waiting.

There was a smile and a nod towards Leighton as he motioned to the boat, lifting his hands up slowly as he chanted and then beginning to levitate in the air. His control was much better than anytime before, proving practice makes perfect and slowly heading towards the Yatch before him. Jinx however was just sitting there in a chair as the girls gabbed about. Spotting a familiar blonde tuft of hair with a flashy new outfit. Pink energy crackled in his hand as he created a Psionic bolt and lobbed it straight at Max, missing just barely as Max twirled out of the way. Noticing that Jinx hadnt been briefed that he joined the Hellfire Club, Max created a circle with his hands, moving them clockwise as the mystic energies coalesced around Jinxs wrists and bound his hands together in a tight but soft fabric.

Max was now only feet above the Yatch as he looked at Jinx "I'm not your enemy!" "Like hell you aren't!" Jinx dampened Max's power of flight, causing him to come crashing down onto the ship from three feet above. "Anyone care to tell me why the damned lollipop brigade is here?!" Max slowly got up and rubbed the back of his head as he softly said ow to himself. "I joined the Hellfire Club. I'm here with my friend Leighton. We heard about the mutant homeland, and how they're trying to bring peace to both humanity and mutants alike, how they're trying to end the bloodshed and give mutants a chance. That sounds like a cause worth working towards. But I will not agree it's worth fighting for if we can avoid it." Max looked towards Polaris, just a small glance as she argued with her sister before looking back at Jinx and the Three in One.

"Wha- No- Not worth fighting for? Do you hear this moronic bozo? There will be fighting, there will be blood spilt, and you better get used to it kiddo. This isnt some fairytale ending or a comic book where the good prevails and all is well. This. Is. Real. Life. And the sooner you understand that the better. Your hands will be stained red regardless of which side you're on and if you choose to have no side then they'll be twice as bloodied! Now I suggest you man up and untie me before I blow that blonde little head off!" Jinx inched closer and closer to Max as he spoke until finally he was inches away from his face. He could see Max's eyes begin to quiver as he fought back tears of rage and the urge to just punch Jinx in the face.
