Demetri felt the wind knocked out of him by the embodiment of nature. His back slamming against the ground as his hands managed to catch himself so that his head didn't hit the ground. He grumbled a bit as he got up and dusted himself off. "Oh you're asking for it now!" He flicked his wrist towards the Venti and killed it in a single blow, sucking it up into the vacuum before pressing his back against Jason's again. "Yeah these Ventis are a Trenta pain in the arse." Demetri could feel Jason's absence as he stumbled and almost fell, turning to see the beast that had gotten away from him. "Dont worry I've got it." He spun over Jason's side and threw his dagger at the creature, killing it and having the weapon fly back into his hand.

He watched in awe all the others seemed to used their powers to overpower and overcome the Ventis. A tinge of jealousy hitting him as he watched. He looked at Rebecca and smiled as she summoned some skeletal goons to fight for her. "Thats soooo cool" His eyes darted back to his sister as she unleashed her lightning against the storming spirits. "Well, I think I know who Zeus's favorite child is. You got the pot with powers." As soon as he looked back there was a Venti standing before him as it launched a powerful bolt of lightning towards him. His side began to burn as it singed away at his clothes. He quickly clutched his side, haggard breathing for a few moments as he attempted to focus away from the pain.

Kwassi Asokho

It appeared to him that a majority of those assembled were ready and willing to go. Whether that was a compliment to Hills status and the trust they placed in her, or a commentary on how vicious and terrifying she must be to all of them had yet to be seen. His eyes darted from person to person as they each spoke up and stated they were going on into the mission. Matt seemed to direct his attention towards him, offering him some guidance on who his leader would he during this excursion and shifting Kwassi's attention to Cassandra Reed. As if reading a file his eyes fixated on her and the words began to appear around her. Cassandra Reed: Age: 28 Class: Mutant Powers over seasonal manipulation and the mind and body of a tank. A communications major unlike any other. A snall smile formed on the corner of his lip as he took another sip. She would be a formidable leader and a great asset. His mindscape was broken when Agent Flynn began to throw a tantrum in the room. He knew his powers of fire were hot but he hadnt expected his temper to be. There was a time and place for those forms of outbursts and this was certainly one of them.

It was like watching someone take a bullet for another. Flynn single handedly placed a target on his back for speaking out for what he believed in, something Captain America would easily do. And in doing so he paved the way for other Agents to falter in their resolve and see there is the option to fight and defect. Now the question was who stood by his side? And were they smart enough to play the game. S.H.I.E.L.D. was a massive organization and as Kwassi had stated before, they could make examples of Captain America. What they needed to do was work from the inside and root out the corruption to save the ideals. Flynn promptly left the room and surprisingly without a single burst of flames. Director Hill calling Agent Sullivan by a potentially derogatory name was another nail in her coffin. It was polarizing and seeing them all fall apart was almost too much to bear...almost.

Kwassi made a mental note to speak to Agent Bautista later, alone. See if she could use her powers to put them in the room where it happened so to speak. Once Agent Reed had told them it was time to go and Director Hill seemingly said her piece, Kwassi gave Agent Sullivan a look that said i want to speak to you, before heading out of the meeting room in a light jog in an attempt to catch up to his missions lead. "My apologies for my absence in the meetings start, I hope I can do more to show you my resolve on the field. Agent Asokho, I look forward to seeing your leadership in action." He gave her a quick salute, his pace slowing slightly so that he trailed just behind her.

Salem was more than annoyed that Victors axe had not only missed its mark, but it also notified the mage of his magic. His blade of grass had withered like it was nothing, the mages magic proving its dominance in totality. If only he could removed the mased Salem should attempt to blind him. As the mage turned his attention towards Victor, and his back to Salem, the vampire he was with began to snap and tear as it grew grotesque vines that protruded from his body. There was now a dual sense within Salem. Horror and amazement. He would have to learn that spell later, if he survived this encounter. The vines began to lunge at Salem as he started to sprint away from the offending spell. If Victor had found a clue then Salem would buy him as much time as he could. He needed a way to cancel the spell the mage was doing while also keeping himself alive.

Salems breathing became harsh and difficult as he felt something within him constrict his breathing. Magic? His injuries from the vampire weren't severe enough to have damaged him like this, and his lungs weren't punctured by any means. He gritted his teeth as Salem threw his glaive towards the other mage whose back was still facing him. If the obsidian tip penetrated the plant mage then it could cancel out his magic and stop the vines while also affording Victor some more time. However if it didn't stop the magic then Salems life may be as good as forfeited.

As the green flames grew larger, they reflected back in his eyes. Encompassing his vision as all he could see for a moment was fields of green fire. Panic ran rampart through his heart and mind as he became more and more unsure of what to do. Merlin began to cast a fireball and the bright red flames flew passed Matthews head and through the sheild, hitting its target as Pandora was flown across the field and Maleficent protected herself. His eyes grew wide as he watched the scene unfold, seeing magic cast around him but even more surprisingly seeing a mother unwilling to protect her child. He hoped for Pandoras sake that she was ok, that she lived on to fight another day and see how her mothers side isn't the one to be on. Matthew clenched his fists in anger, his nails practically piercing skin as he looked at the limp body before him.

His attention was quickly snatched as knives began to fly and arrows were let loose. Even Colby joined the fray with rocks. The sheild protecting them began to crack and it was only a matter of time before they'd be left without a defense. He wanted to ask for some knives but now wasnt the time for being polite, not the the lump in his throat would move away. He quickly reached passed Layla, having noticed where her knives were, and grabbed two of them. "Wow, you could of asked man. So rude for stealing my knives." He didn't reply or retort, focused on what he was about to do. Matthew quickly spun in place, eyes closed until the last second when he opened them and his hand landed where his gaze was. The knife went flying out of his hand and straight into Maleficents leg. He held the second knife and quickly flicked his wrist landing the shot in the same leg. "I told you witch. You. Wont. Harm. A. Hair. On. His. Head!" He glared over towards Merlin, anger in his eyes "Get us out of here."

Max's hair was covered in the dusty residue left behind from the car crash. Turning his golden blonde hair into an ashy grey/white mess. Most of the splotches on his skin were covered by the same substance making him seem relatively healthy with the exception of the headache that came in waves and was unfortunately brought back by the sound of the car crash. It was clear to him that he needed to do some explaining to both James and Glimpse. Although he was unsure of how exactly he would explain this to them without it potentially going over their heads. He could hear the irritation in James voice as he told him it was going well, feeling a hint of the other James for a moment before he proceeded forward.

"Its a bit difficult to explain. It's like there was another nerdy voice in my head going 'duh! Conjuration? Thats like the basis of healing magic.' I couldn't believe I had forgotten something so basic. All I could think at the moment was how much I wished I could heal like you and... well its not perfect but..." Max lunged forward and gave James a deep hug, a single tear slipping out and wetting the dust on his face. "I don't know how you do this, how you've been doing this for so long and for everyone. I'm so sorry." He pulled himself off of James a sniffled a little bit before he began to walk again and make his way towards the van. "Lets go before more show up."

Echos rendition of Uptown Girl was cut short as an immense wave of heat began to overtake the area and he watched as Pyros flames collided with Sapphires frost. The two opposing forces seemingly hitting each other with equal force as they worked around themselves and swirled into an amalgamation of ice and fire creating a brilliant bright light that forced Echo to look away for a second. Just like that the light had vanished and the heat and frost dissipated into the air as the two raged on, neither gaining ground against the other. The Valkyrie kid began speaking to one of her creepy robotic friends, getting way too worked up about the results of Echos first kill.

"Kid, you should really work on your battlefield awareness and focus if you are to become a Valkyrie." He didnt want to encourage her behavior but he needed her to focus if she was to remain alive. The green haired brat through he freakish skull causing Echo to wince a bit and making him fault on what he'd just said to the child. His distraction from the light and battle made him painfully unaware of Waverlys master plan. Having her slip by and get inside the enemies car only to watch her begin to drive towards the flirting pyromaniac. His jaw dropped and face grew a bit gaunt as this was becoming out of hand. He could see the headlines now and how they would drive mutant tension higher than ever and potentially make more mutant friendly clinics less likely to want to help the cause.

Pyros last words however struck a massive nerve. Echos projection was just fine! Whomever this pleb was he knew nothing of the art! Waverly seemed to shut him up nicely and it filled him with mixed emotions. He was torn between not wanting to kill and being sure that this was the pyromaniacs comeuppance. It however almost felt as if this group existed solely to pester him and make their jabs. Who else is there? WHO ELSE IS THERE?! "My my! If Dazzlers the only one you can name then you must be living under a rock!" His voice was haughty and full of rage. "Oh sure! Dazzler this, Dazzler that! Just because I don't hypnotize my audience to feel like they enjoy my music doesn't mean I am any less of a musician than her! I'll have you know I've sold out venues!"

In his tirade he hardly noticed, the car lifting and more importantly the fact that Waverly was still inside. He didn't know what this mutant was capable of and it appeared that he might find out in the worst of ways. Echo turned to face his sister, to see what the plan was. Sure she was the younger of the two twins but she always had a plan, always. But all he saw was pain and distress written all over her face as she blindly grasped at the air for a plan. He knew he needed to step up and deliver as her older sibling. Sapphire came swooping in trying to gather Polaris' attention so that the others may deal with Waverly...somehow seeing as how she was 100 feet in the air. Echo tried hard to think until he recalled his time at Xaviers and the games of hide and seek that he and Veil would play.

"Right. Echo went over towards Veil and calmly placed his hands on her shoulders to offer her some comfort and an anchor to grasp at. "Its time we pushed past our limits here Veil. I'm going yo need you to create an invisible slide from the drivers seat all the way down to you and me, if possible make guard rails for it too so Waverly doesn't fall off the sides. I'll use my echolocation and locate the entry point for your slide then beam a hole into the bottom of the car so she can safely slide down to us. We got this." Echos words were whispered so only she could hear, giving them the advantage of a surprise the enemy couldn't see.

"Listen up! Now isn't the time for defiance or choosing not to follow someone's orders! Prepare to defend yourselves and help Sapphire with the enemy, we stand together." In truth he had no idea what the newbies were all capable of so it was difficult to work them into his plan, but he hoped they could help keep Polaris distracted and Sapphire safe. Veil nodded towards him, trying to create the slide he asked for. She looked uncertain about it trying as she might she failed, unable to get it to work. Panic setting in he quickly looked about to everyone as he attempted to formulate a new plan. "Ok plan B. Can you get me up there on a disk? We can try and lower me and Waves down from there safely." Once again she tried and was able to create a large disk for him. He gently levitate the large distance into the air, about to get ready to cut open the underside of the car when his foot gave out on the smooth surface.

Echo began to plummet down towards the ground, windburn on his cheeks as the air cut them with speed. He had only moments to think as he finally let out a loud belting and sing song scream. It sounded like the intro to 'The Immigrant Song' as his vocals created a power beam of laser that blasted from his core all the way to the street before him. He sustained the notes in order to keep a steady stream of uv energy flowing, and slowing down his fall. He wouldnt die but thisbwas going to hurt a hell of alot. Quickly his clones rushed to his side, holding their hands out in a basket formation as if to catch a falling gymnast. All in hopes to help break his fall and allow him to have his injuries lessened.

Demetris ears burned hot as Leda teased him about his proposition to Jason. He hadn't meant for it to be in that nature, but genuinely believed that it would be faster to divide and conquer land and air. He felt as though things were already fairly rocky for him and the gingered haired child of Ares, and he didn't need Leda to create more fissures where there should be bridges. Ofcourse, Jason declined his offer and made a valid counter point. They should enjoy the land while it lasted and Demi wanted to do just that. He nodded towards his partner in affirmation about going on land and as Jason began to depart he simply called out to him "Hey wait up!"

The others had seemed to get a head start on hunting the Venti. Demi grabbed his pack as he watched his little sis blast a pair with her lightning, Rebecca went full Violet from the Incredibles, and everyone seemed to go about and do their thing. Before he knew it Jason had run head first towards a Venti, taking one out while getting slammed by lightning in return. Demi ran towards a Venti that was on his way to Jason, his earring coming to life as the dagger spring into his hand. He quickly flicked his wrist at the creature, missing and immediately jutting to the right in an attempt to avoid being hit by an attack. The Ventis lightning hurled at Demetri and grazed the demi-gods side as he stopped dead in his tracks. His dagger came flying back into his hand and he thre it once more with deadly precision, killing the Venti and going to scoop it up before going back to back with Jason. "Watch my back and ill watch yours?"

Agent Asokho entered conference room as quietly as he could. He doubted that his presence wouldn't go unnoticed given that this facility was run by people meant to see the unseen. He slid his way past a few people, landing next to Amelia as it appeared to him that she was as new to some of this information as he was. The idea of going after and capturing Captain America was wild. He stood for Hope, Justice, and the American Way. He was a war hero and beloved through time. Kwassi knew that Agent Sullivan was in the right. By arresting Captain America, the world's faith and hope in their heros might faulter and cause unrest. Surely he hadnt done anything yet to warrant such actions, but Director Hill had said what she said and already issued this manhunt. Anyone would be crazy to go and defy her and S.H.I.E.L.D. so openly. Well at least it would be crazy for him. He was new to all this and didn't fully have his footing yet, he couldn’t afford to step on toes now, not with his higher ups.

Agent Asokho took a sip from his Iced Guava Passion Fruit drink. The cooling and smooth beverage making its way down his throat before he dared to speak up. "Pardon for speaking up but Director Hill has the right of it. If Captain America truly has branded himself as an Enemy of S.H.I.E.L.D. and chosen not to align with the mandate then we must bring him in. Not only because of his position but because of who he is. If we bring in Captain America we are sending out a message to all those who oppose this that we are united and we will bring them to Justice. It will bring out those who waver still and have them align with us as they see that even Captain America couldn't avoid this fate." He took another sip from his beverage before giving Agent Sullivan a polite smile.

Max sat behind the conjured sheild, taking a brief respite in the small reguge he had created for him and Sunshine. His breathing had slowed down as he could feel the aches catching up to him. He looked at Sunshine for a moment before his attention was pulled by the sound of crackling electricity. He couldn't fully see her but he knew Callie must've been nearby and attempting to fight off the Purifiers that lay before them. He was so worried about how badly he could mess up a shot, how much damage he could cause with a misplaced bit of magic, that he hadn't worried about fighting. He only wanted to make sure his team was alive and that they could leave to see another day. Not to mention that he didn't need anymore reason for Casper to turn his gaze from him. He knew it wasn't Caspers fault that he could see the ghosts of those that were killed, but it still felt cold everytime he avoided making eye contact.

Max let out a soft Tch as he heard Jacka two cents. "I wont lie to you. If I had killed her I'd probably of just killed myself after. I'm not in the habit of taking lives." He leaned his head back, trying to garner as much rest as he could before his next move. Hearing Jack complain about firing off a gun he began to wonder how thr detective ever managed. "Spread your legs into a triangle. We use that to stabilize ourself in photography when we dont have a tri-pod. Take aim but don't close your eye or it'll shift your target. Then pull the trigger and remember there's recoil. Really shooting a gun and shoot a photograph have a lot of similarities." I think. He wasnt actually sure if any of the information he gave out was sound advice, but it sure enough was true for photography and they seemed to be relatively similar principles.

Sunshine finally began to speak, saying Magik was her hero and he began to feel extremely awkward. So long as she didn't fully come to them he could let her believe that he wasn't the one to rescue her. Before he could do anything however there was a large crash. Max peered to thr side to see a car now in the building as Dr. Chan yelled at everyone to get out. It seemed the healing coupled with the loud crash was enough to bring Sunshine to as he told Max to let her die. "Sorry kid. Not gonna happen." It was now or never. Max began to heal her some more, doing much better than before and making her healthy enough to be able to move without worry. He was about to lift her out when he realized she'd probably kill him before he had the chance. "You should be good to move now, I seemed to be able to heal you most of the way through so you're not as critical. I think that car took care of the purifiers so how about we get out of here and to James and the car huh?"

Max slolwy stood up, his fatigue catching up to him once more as his legs began to feel like spaghetti and his head continued to pound. He took a deep breath before placing one foot in front of the other and making his way out. Now that the purifiers were dealt with he felt confident enough to speak out. "Sunshine is fine! She should be good to move! How's the getaway coming?"

Echo could feel the tension in the air as Waverly joined the fight. The Valkyrie seemed to be more oblivious than he was as to who these wannabes were and actually extended what seemed a friendly chat to them. Granted Waverly and Veil made sure to let her know otherwise. Echo wasn't fully involved in the lives of everyone at the Mutant Underground, but it appeared as though Havok had some major history with Polaris. He felt for the guy, really, but now wasn't the time for idle chatter when one of them was clearly a pyromaniac. Waverly seemed to change the tune of the radio, playing 'Uptown Girl' (One of Echos all time favorites) and then using its soundwaves to blast two out of thr three opponents. His eyes glimmers with excitement as he thought about the prospect of a new band mate or the very least teaching someone who had a similar skill set than he did. "Nice choice. I'd of gone with Elton John's 'Saturday Nights Alright (For Fighting)' but I will never turn down a good Billy Joel."

His face grew flush as Pyro began to flirt with him incessantly. It'd only been two months since the loss of his love and he hadn't really considered the prospect of another person let alone idle flirting. He was hot sure enough, and who didn't love a bad boy? But he didn't think he was ready to move on just yet. Echo did however speak flirtation as a second language so it would only be natural to flirt back and possibly garner an new ally. "You might be hot stuff there but are you sure you can handle all of me?" He motioned towards all his clones, giving Pyro a very suggestive wink to help drive the point home.

An extremely powerful blast came out of nowhere and little miss coven had managed to not only block it but deflect it and create a crater in the road. She was clearly a major threat and to be dealt with first. "Before we go and do all that however, hows about a little dance?" He caught onto the chorus of the song and condensed the waves into beams of UV Energy to be shot as Ana. Jerry and Harry seemed to miss their marks while Terry landed a blow but Barry really took it home. His pitch was just right as the beam bore through Ana's eye and killed her as it fried her brain. There was a mix of feelings bubbling inside of Echo now. He was glad to of taken down an opponent but upset that it was in death. Still...Billy Joel was playing and he was in his skates so... The man began to dance in place, singing along perfectly as he matched the pitch and carried on. "And when she's walking
She's looking so fine
And when she's talking
She'll say that she's mine

Man i love this song"
