Max silently rolled his eyes at Sunshines protest. Her constant need to be right and self sufficient was going to make for a long day at this island. As she took the knife away from him his mind began to decloud and the wave of dizziness came crawling back like the drop of a roller coaster. He held two fingers to his temples as he tried to shake the dizziness away and wonder what he had done giving a trigger happy mutant a knife. Whats done was done and he couldn't take it back, so he took her hand and helped himself up when suddenly Sunshine was demanding him to shut up. He hadn't even spoken a word and already she was asking him to be quiet. Rolling his eyes once more in the silence he then began to hear the voice she had heard. Unfamiliar and haunting, a melody resounded through the halls and into the room, getting louder as they grew closer.

Max watched as she asked him to hide and she slipped through the doorway. He blinked slowly twice over as he wondered if for a brief moment she showed a bit of selflessness. He did, ofcourse, chalk it up to delirium caused by the M-Pox and began to quietly move near the door. He instantly froze as he got to the joint, realizing the sound was coming from a ghost. His eyes went wide as his body ran cold and all that ran through his mind was how does one fight a ghost? Max quickly thought about Sunshine and how she was just going out there blind with a knife and disease and how neither of those could truly harm a ghost. He looked towards her direction and whispered out a message, having it carry silently to her "Sunshine its a fucking ghost! What are we supposed to do about a ghost?!"

Harry stood there as he wondered what he could possibly do. He wasnt a medic or healer like Sapphire and James, nor did he have any powers that helped him contain people like Sapphire, Glimpse, or others. All he had felt like it was never fully enough. Finally he closed his eyes, took in a deep breath, and began to do what he felt needed to be done. "Barry go stand guard by Waves amd make sure she's ok. Of Jack escapes dont let him get anywhere near her or James got it? Jerry and Terry help me surround this thing in the event he gets out. He may be stretchy but we need to be faster. Knock him out if you have to, if anything it may make it easier to work this psychosis out of him." They all nodded at what had to be done, Barry moving over and standing in between where Waverly and Jack were. The rest forming a tight knit triangle around the force field his twin had put up.

They watched as the field shimmered ever so slightly, keeping an intense eye through the dome at Jack. From what he understood he was under Sinisters control, who they had previously mentioned was his father. But regardless of the fact, a part of him wondered if this psychotic break wasn't fully Sinisters doing. Was part of this innately tied into Jacks genes from the beginning? Maybe he was having a new power development that caused psychic brainwaves to collide and made him susceptible to Sinister? Regardless of what happened Echo would be here to help protect the underground.

Aaron appeared to be the only one who took Maddie bait. The sudden change of conversation in the room to pull away from what had just transpired. Salem thought on the rumor, how there were supposedly a group of mages pulling pranks on abusive vampires. He had to wonder if they based their pranks on evidence or rumors as well? Would they target Victors and his dorm just because he's an Astorio? Hopefully that was unlikely, what's more he hoped that Victor took it in stride if they did. Last thing they needed was another mage being chucked across campus to set an example of true strength or something to that nature. There was an itch to sigh, his hand twitching in response as it threatened to pinch the bridge of his nose in annoyance. Luckily Maddie pulled him away from it as she directed the new form of conversation to him.

His cheeks began to grow hot as blood rushed beneath them, his tan skin being a saviour in hiding the blush. Lilie spoke of him? And in good light? Salem was typically more on guard about others talking about him behind his back. If anything it was to spread baseless rumors, or simply speak ill of him without his knowing. After all that was what many did at such parties, swap stories and information as if fact and use the new found information against others in the long run. He gave Maddie a polite smile before answering. "It certainly is nice to meet you in person for once and have a conversation. Though I wasn't aware that Lilie spoke of me,and so highly at that. I can only hope to live up to the image she's painted of me." His posture changed as he sat in the chair. Somewhere between relaxed and yearnfull for the life he could've had before all this happened.

"Before I was awoken I had begun my studies in the medical field. I ran a clinic to help those who couldn't afford it, dealing with a wide range of injuries and illnesses. Had I not awoken to my magic I would've just continued my work, helping others and doing what I could for those in need. I still wish to help with what I can however. I plan on using my knowledge of horticulture combined with my magic and transmutation magic to create stronger herbal medicine so that more treatments can be produced and distributed to the clinic at a faster rate. What about you? What was your plans before you awoke?"

Matthew gave Cassiopea a small smile as she took the offered olive branch. He hoped that this small act was taken as it was meant and that she understood the merits to standing together as opposed to falling apart from strife. His attention was quickly snatched by the barrage of questions coming out of everyone's mouth, some...weirder than others. He listened in to the plan. Gathering as much information as he was able to but not really sure as to what was needed to be asked. After all so much had been questioned already it left little room for him to think of anything pertanent. When Hansel asked if anyone else would care for a drink Matthew lifted his hand sheepishly hoping these were on the house.

He leaned over and looked at the map, trying to absorb as much of the information as possible. It sounded as if the sewage team needed someone defr of hands, but he didn't quite like the idea of being separated from Colby. Both sides were likely to have magic users as a threat and the best bet was to have Merlin on the rescue team and himself out distracting the guards. "What kind of distraction should be pulled? Does it need to be a grand gesture with magic and danger? Or something small like a scuffle, looting, or something of the like?"

It appeared the reality, or as far as Aaron wanted to paint it, was much more mundane than what they had all thought. Each one expected something worse than the last and each one was now being told that it was simply a game of fetch by Aaron and another mage. He wasnt sure if he should believe him or suspect there was more hidden behind what he was saying. But for now he would let it rest, allow Aaron to slip back into his old habits and do what was needed for the rest of the evening. After all it did no one any good to have him flail about and get reprimanded before them all by Varis. Luckily that was one difference between Varis and his father, Varis worked on thr mind and emotional turmoil while his father disagreed and felt they needed physical punishment.

For a brief moment Salems hand drifted to his side subconsciously. Touching the bruise left behind by a previous training session, prompting some flashes of that day interspersed with some old memories of his father. He came back briefly as he heard Lilies voice, her sound pulling him out of his rut and back into the present. "Worst case you can bill Eris if you'd like. Get a new clock or something. There's no sense in worrying over it now however." Salem sat back in his chair again, wanting to offer help but knowing he would be turned away. This wasn't like dinner where you offered to pay out of politeness, doing so could possibly offend the mage in question and Aaron seemed like the kind to be offended. "Well that was a lively bit of entertainment."

The fight between Kwassi and Bonnie had only gotten better as it went on. Able to match blow for blow, neither tiring from the combat as Kwassi almost gained a smile on his face. It was good to finally find an equal, a match worth fighting and with stakes worth fighting for. His ghost of a smile disappeared when some airhead billionaire stopped down, shrunk, and was shoo'd away by his own teammate. "Find your own fight." Kwassi blocked Bonnie's incoming barrage of attacks. Switching between his forearms, escrima, and shins to help deflect the attacks and land his own counter attacks. As she finally slipped up and started to fall, Kwassi got cocky and went in for a strike, something he'd remember to be more careful of in the future. This simple act gave her an opening and she knocked him down on his back.

Kwassi rolled up towards his neck, spin kicking to get himself up and immediately join back into the fight. The distraction from his kicks opened up her left side as his hand came crashing down with his Escrima and hit Bonnie upside her head. His hand retracted back as he went in for a right hook, his weight shifting and allowing Bonnie to flip him and having him wince. He was beginning to get irritated, sweep kicking her and getting her knocked down as well. "Didn't think you'd fall for me but here we are." He chuckled out before continuing "I have to say, you're an excellent fighter."

Demetri thought on what the others had said. Elysium huh? Why hadn't he thought if that. He knew it was party city for the heroes in the afterlife but his mind kept flickering back to the other undying party of the damned. Having never taken stock in the afterlife or gods, he often times found himself going more with the VTM standard of Elysium. A location on earth for those who have been cursed with undeath to be able to party and socialise without the worry of attacks. He never was one for parties though, so unless the place had a large buffet table for him to sit by and eat while pets surrounded him, then he wasnt exactly interested. There was a bit of a sigh as he laid his head on the table looking towards no one in particular.

"Is that wha-" he was cut short as they announced their arrival. Quite honestly Demi had forgotten that they were headed to the junk yard. Thinking they had made it to the Roman camp, he sprung up and went out the doors excited to see the other side. What he was greeted with however was just a large landscape of celestial bronze that glinted the sun as far as the eye could see. He immediately squinted his eyes and began to cover them from the blinding sight. "Fuck, who turned Zekes annoying personality into a damn landscape?" After all was explained Demi looked towards Jason with a smile, "Partner?"

More and more Sunshine began to prove his point about her. Max wondered if it would literally kill her to lay someone a compliment, or to at the very least be nice. He took a step forward to go pick up the knife, the world began spinning around him. Every step difficult, every one done in a drunken lazy manner. As one foot crossed over the other he eventually made it to the knife, grabbing it firmly in his hand before standing absolutely still. As he tried to focus on the task at hand his ear began to bleed ones more. The thick red icor slowly driving down the sides and down his neck. Max stood still, the only movement was his swaying as he worked to push down the upcoming bile and blood in his throat.

When he finally won the battle and swallowed it down, Max began to focus on a new task. Getting up to Sunshine. Muttering a few words, he began to levitate upwards gaining height until he met with the top of the net where it met into a singular spot. Max gripped the knife tightly as he gave confident strokes, each one tearing into the trap more than the last. The rope fraying and splitting until finally she fell down with a loud thud. He unceremoniously allowed himself to drop, lowering further and further down until his feet hit the floor beneath him and he landed just before Sunshine. "You may need this." he slurred as he dropped the knife before her. The M-pox mustve really gotten to him if he thought giving her a knife when they were alone was a good idea.

Echo gave his sister a nod as she asked to speak to him later. "bien sûr." He turned to walk away, the slowness from having to regain his blood and feeling in his limbs keeping him there just in time to see Jack to absolutely mental. Breaking Glimpses nose, knocking Waverly so hard she fell back on her head. His eyes went wide in shock as he looked upon in horror. They had just escaped one blood bath, he was not about to enter another. "Terry go get James, Waverly needs immediate attention!" Terry began to run away towards James as Echo growled his next words. "You. You won't harm another member of this underground!" Harrys blood boiled in anger as a laser began to manifest and then suddenly a thud. Terry had been been knocked out mid run. Larry watched half amused half in rage as he simply mentioned he'd get James and ran off and immediately saw the man standing there confused.

"Waverly needs immediate attention, Jack hit her hard and she went straight to the ground." Echo belted out in frustration, clinging to the waves produced and condensing them into a single beam that skimmed Jacks head, buzzing his hair off. He wasn't exactly sure what to do. Jack could be under Sinisters control, or this could just be a bad bloodline, either 3ay he needed to be stopped not killed. "pouvez-vous le piéger dans une bulle?" Harry stood on by as he thought of how to handle this situation, ready to fight Jack if needed. "Boys, lets harmonize."

Surprise colored Matthews face when Colby approached him with some kebabs. He was a bit apprehensive to eat them, given that sanitation wasn't huge in the middle ages, though he supposed that may not be true for a fantasy realm. He gave the food a smell before taking a small bite. It wasn't nearly as horrendous as he expected, tasting much like street fare food he would find back in the Kansas Fair. "Thanks. I could use a bit to eat and having no money kinda puts a hamper on things." He took another bite as he watched Cassiopea glance about for what he could only assume was food. Between all those who had snuck a bite to eat she must've felt left out. Given her moral stance earlier she may not be up for a little five finger discount, an idea that did give Matthew an anxious pain in his stomach.

Matthew fidgeted for a moment, deciding what to do until the door had opened up before them and he followed in. Once they were all settled Matthew looked over towards Cassiopea, then down at his half eaten kebab, and made his way over to her. "No sense saving people on an empty stomach. Here, take the rest of mine, i had a decent lunch before coming here." He extended his hand out for her to take the stick, watching as Hansel and Greek introduced themselves as well as the plan for how they were to proceed. It looked like they had less than a day to plan and get ready. The sewers were their way of transport and Matthew was not looking forward to it at all. So long as there were demonic rats, or anything like that then he supposed it was fine...to a small degree.

Demitri continued to eat his food, his mood quickly becoming better with every bite. Perhaps he was hungry? Or maybe he'd shifted himself out of alignement. He still hadn't realised that this mornings dream had forced him out of his usual self. His bright blue eyes now shining through as opposed to the dark brown he usually wore. Demi never gave much thought about his shifting and how might affect him. Animals were one thing, but swapping gender could potentially have lasting effects he never thought of or cared to think of. It could also explain his sudden swings in mood, though puberty did that enough as well. Back home whenever he'd feel a fit of anger coming on he could simply go off into the forest and throw his dagger around. Now he was trapped in a ship and had no where to truly let out any agressions aside from those around him. As Leda finished up what she was saying, Demetri let out a long and deep belch.

"Sorry bout that. Morpheus huh? I suppose I was shoping for a different answer. Or perhaps a more complex one than the potential obvious." He gave a scratch to his head as he thought about all he had learned in this short time. "So...where do we go when we die? Do we have a place like The Pit where we are made whole again and sent back? Can we party on Olympus? Or is it just go to Uncle Hades and drift on in the River?" It probably wasn't the best topic to bring up given recent events. But if someone he truly cared about passed on, like Andy, he would want to know whose ass to kick and where to pluck her soul. After all if Disney's Hercules could do it maybe he could to? He hoped that Hades was compationate enough to his nephew to help him out.

Kwassi listened in to Captain America's speech. Looking at the man as the Statue of Liberty shone behind him like the symbol of hope he was. His words were well put together and inspiring, but they weren't what drove Kwassi at this moment. They weren't what extinguished the flames of doubt in his stomach and filled him with a river of courage to do whats right. No, that was thanks to the man standing beside him. A hero of Wakanda, The Black Panther. Knowing he stood by his side and that this was where his loyalties laid told Kwassi all he needed to know about where he stood. This was worth fighting for, and this was worth the betrayal. For as far as he could see, the real traitors were those standing beside Iron Man. Before the others had arrived Kwassi gave a polite bow to the King of Wakanda, for he was his people no matter where he moved. "Ndihamba ekukhanyeni kwakho"

As the others began to land, standing tall by the misguided billionaire, Kwassi stood proud, chest out as he looked at his former allies. There was a screeching blast that signaled the first hit. Kwassi quickly did a motion with his arms, doing the Wakanda Forever salute as he placed his domino mask on and ran towards his target. He'd had time to study some of his foes, finding Bonnie Chase to be the most fair fight for him. She didn't have the same abilities as her Agents, dermal skin, paralytic touch, psychometry. All useful in a fight in their own ways. He began by extending his stick into a half staff, using it to propel himself forward and kick Bonnie. She blocked him as she placed her arms up, deflecting the blow and throwing one of her own. The fight raged on, each blow getting closer than the last. To anyone outside the fight, they appeared to be ready to kill. Strike after strike they matched, mirroring a Greek tale but with a modern twist. Athena did not beat Pallas this time, it was Pallas that struck down Athena. One small opening, and a well placed blow, Kwassi punched Bonnie's stomach, knocking the air out of her ans stunning her.
