Max noticed the worry in Pixie's voice as something began to form in his hand. He turned to face the item that was solidifying. He wasn't sure how it got there, or why Pixie seemed to be upset, but there would be time to talk about that later. "I did what I had to to keep everyone safe. Now-" Max focused on the staff, watching as Maria absorbed some of Criptas powers after Selene lasso'd him with a black energy whip. He tried to create a blast of energy but all it did was serve to blind him for a second before he noticed the floor beneath Maria became lava.

He wasn't certain of what to do or how to handle this new item, but something told him to just hit Cripta. He took the gut feeling and ran towards the abomination, crashing his staff against the tethered tentacles as Cripta turned into a pile of dust. Flecks floating off and towards Selene as she siphoned whatever remained. Max clanged his new staff against the floor, hearing the sound reverberate as he used the new item to help him stay up. "Dinners do-able. You're not a vegetarian are you? Cuz I can whip you up some A5 Wagyu beef steaks and a few other ingredients to make a great dinner. Oh and I'll throw in the recipe card too. But first two things…"

Max looked towards Pixie, concern in his eyes for what she might tell him. "You seem to know what this is, might helping me out cuz I have no idea." He then turned to look at Maria "I can send you home now, food in tow, or you can stay and fight alongside me. There are other battles across the island, and we could use all the help we can get."

Harry's shoulders slumped once the original had been found and the other clones had fallen down to the wayside. He watched as the bodies slid one by one off the side of the ship and down below. Each one begging to answer the question would that happen to me if I died? Would the others fall? There was still a lot he didn't fully know about his mutation. Having had one that can produce a variety of ways, ways he hadn't dared tested yet. There was an odd calm amongst the silence of the dead, cut through by the wailing sound of Sunshine as she sat there near a still Waverly.

The victory felt empty. A similar feeling creeped into Harry as he watched her lifeless corpse from afar. The breeze from the height tussled her mass of hair that helped to remind him of his late love. For a moment the two were one, his eyes unable to distinguish the difference between them as his vision began to blur and tears began to fill his eyes. The water stopped at the edges of his lashes, ready to fall before Harry managed to steel himself and wipe away the tears. He made his way towards the group now surrounding Sunshine and said in an almost distant tone. "We'll have time for this later. We'll make sure she gets a proper funeral. But for now…" Harry looked off towards the distance of the island. [Color=E610B8]"Others may still need our help."[/colorP

Maddie was cautious not to physically touch anything down in this basement. Items were sprawled about like a Bazar, ranging from swords to lanterns to rugs and more. Each item was delicately tagged with a string and parchment noting its price. Maddie simply scanned over the items, seeing the range of prices and wondering what exactly they had stumbled into. If it was a secret hideout, it was a very good one. Weapons littered about made it easier to arm oneself should a raid happen, and perhaps some of these items were magical. He thought back to the oil lamp he found and how the others called it a genie's lamp, making him wonder if any of these rugs were magic carpets. He may not have known about Aladdin, but he'd read a similar book about Howl in a land like this.

Suddenly there was the voice of a young girl, searching no doubt for the strange cat from the sounds of it. When she came down and saw them all she immediately brandished a weapon and it appeared that most stayed quiet with the exception of Tink who told only half the truth. Maddie placed his hands up in the air along with the others, eyeing them before sighing and deciding he would be the one to say. If the cat brought them here it'd be for a reason. "She's telling the truth, we are searching for someone. But in that search we stumbled upon your cat which led us all here. Well...I say led but really it bit me and dragged me part of the way. See?" Maddie flashed his hand to show the small bite with flecks of blood surrounding it. "Really we mean no harm just thought…well I figured a cat that intent on having us follow it was worth a look you know? The names Maddie, may I know yours?"

He doesn't even like you, he loves the blind girl The words echoed in Demetri's mind as everyone conversed amongst themselves. Did what it said really matter? He shot a sideways glance towards Kristin as she asked him not to spare any details. Taking in a breath and steeling his nerves as he was about to say what the ghost had told him. Demi went to open his mouth to speak when he noticed a slight change in Zeke's behavior, as if he lost any sense of charm that usually permeated his personality. Zeke reached up and choked Demetri, causing him to gasp slightly as he managed to choke out a couple of words. "Seriously?"

A million thoughts ran through Demi's head as he was being strangled. Was this Zeke's true character? Did he truly care so little of him that he was willing to kill him so that nothing stood between him and Janelle? Demi tried asking him to stop but the words couldn't come out, so he swung his leg wildly in an attempt to kick Zeke in his family jewels. His hits were wide and only served to aggravate Zeke, making him strengthen his grip on his throat and cause Demi to asphyxiate. Tears started to stream down Demetri's cheeks as he looked at a now blurred vision of Zeke.

Stop This he mouthed, the words finding no form other than a mangled gasp of air. Demi could feel himself lose focus and consciousness and he had to act fast. In his state of delirium he wondered if perhaps he could shock Zeke out of whatever was happening. If he thought he was hurting Janelle, then maybe...Demi tried to shift but he'd already lost too much oxygen and he couldn't change forms. He could tell the world was getting darker now, slipping, as his body went limp for a moment before jolting back with a spark of life. Demetri's eye were pitch black as he stared at Zeke's face and shadows began to surround the child of Zeus. He could feel Zeke’s grip loosening, allowing him enough room to breathe but not enough to break free.

Cassian sipped at his tea, his eyes peering over the rim of the cup to watch Anabelle as she spoke about Gaia, Ouranos, and the Eidelons. The idea that they would follow whoever was next was a bit worrisome, until a new thought replaced it. What if the Eidolon was attempting to follow him? Did the being believe he could ascend like his father did? Though Cass doubted that any of the gods would step down in the manner that Hestia had. Then Anabelle mentioned her thoughts, that perhaps it went to pursue someone else.

"If the creature was a follower of them, and now is on Camp somewhere searching for new people to do its bidding...should we try to find it? Is there a way we can banish it or exorcise it before it grabs hold of any of the Campers?" Cassian's hand instinctively went to his side, feeling the cool Celestial bronze of his pipes as he scooted his chair slightly back. He wanted to ask more, but if there really was an agent like that roaming the camp, then perhaps Annabelles attention was needed elsewhere to help..

Max wanted to chat more with Maria, explain better about what exactly was going on. But in all honesty he wasn't entirely certain. He heard Selene's words of warning, telling him that she had no true way of helping him and that he was on his own. Anchor Yourself. Max immediately thought back to an old book he had read when he was younger. A hero who wished to tether his soul and how he must focus on a certain point of his body where his soul would now be bound. Max thought of the spot he had in mind and began to think of why he was here. The Underground, Pixie, Sunshine, James, and even Casper. Every mutant that had looked up to him during that ceremony.

Max needed to survive, to make it past tonight. He felt something click, a weight dropping on his body as he became anchored and bound back into the plane, saving himself from being wiped from existence. But there was a sense of emptiness to him. As if a part of him was lost in the process. Max locked eyes with Cripta, anger fueling him. "I don't know what you did to me, but it's time I repay the favour" Max wiped his hand across the air as dozens of daggers began to form, holding firmly in place in the sky. With a quick gesture of his hand they launched towards Cripta, searching for the location where he was corporeal and most vulnerable.

There was a shit eating grin on Max's face as he saw the slashes across Criptas tentacles. Gotcha. He held the sword in his hand to the side and ran towards Cripta, taking a massive swipe as he chopped off one of the tentacles that adorned his face. "His tentacles are the key. Focus your aim there and let's destroy this asshole. Hopefully after I can give you some semblance of an idea as to why I summoned you here."

Harry winced for the slightest of moments as pus and blood splurged across everyone. But his focus was clear and he saw the distraction that now held all their enemies. The Boys began to sing in chorus around Harry. Matching beautifully The Duel of The Fates. Lights began to form and shift as they peppered the field. They all seemingly missed their marks at first. Harry shook it off, as he began to let go of his anger and allowed himself a moment to breathe before trying again. He waited, striking at the moment when the chorus was more intense and disposing of five more clones.

Harry found it fitting, using a song from a scene that conveyed patience while striking at opportune moments. The chorus beautifully reflecting that, as he too was waiting for the right beats to lash out at. Once they hit the fast paced notes once more he let out another barrage of lasers that had been building up and dancing above everyone's head. They struck down like flashes of lightning, killing ten more clones where they stood as it drilled from head to toe through them. The lights held once more and Harry waited for them to strike back, for one wrong move to keep wiping them out. "Better and Better. Let's finish them off"

Maddie winced as he watched Colby fall down on his ass. Making him hesitant to try for himself. He wriggled in his seat atop the half wall for a moment before finally exhaling and shuffling off the top. He landed much like he'd seen before, rolling just at the end of it to help from hurting his legs or back. "Aren't cats supposed to land on their feet?" Maddie teased as he jabbed Colby on the side. He watched as the mysterious cat phased through the wall above a small basement window. "Woah. Illusory wall."

Maddie went towards the wall behind Colby. Seeing him try the window, his shoulders slumped in disappointment as he realized it wasn't a magical wall but just another magical cat. He blew a tuft of hair out of his eyes, as he waited for Tink to unlock the window. His eyes widened in surprise as she used magic after having warned them not to. "Might wanna learn how to pick a lock, to circumvent this whole magic thing." He noted towards himself. Looking around before finally sliding under the window and into the new room. All he could see was the cat, no one else was around. "This...feels off."

Demetri watched as vines began to encase his shadows. His eyes spread wide wondering how he was doing that until Stella made herself known asking if they were OK. He looked towards Stella, mouth agape in confusion and shock before looking back towards Lauryn. The golden hue had faded from her eyes, the cold chill that ran through the air had dissipated, and the voice had stopped. What the bloody hell was going on tonight? His thoughts were echoed by Mary and Kristin as they followed in shortly after Stella.

Demi only shook his head in disbelief, still unsure of what had transpired. Zeke seemed to have the talking handled, giving Demi some time to reel in from the current events until a warmth began to spread on his arms and he saw the soft light of Zeke's healing. He tried not to smile, keeping a slight look of disdain as if the act of Zeke touching him was an affront to their relationship. Of course he didn't mean it, but now they had an audience. "No idea. Was having a simple chat when the air suddenly got cold and I heard a voice whispering to me saying...well it doesn't really matter what they said. But shortly after Lauryn came over here acting all Jason Vorhees on us and...I...I'm not sure how but I think my uncle was watching over us. Shadows just sprung into action and wrapped her up good."

That was the only logical explanation for all of this. Hades must've been keeping an eye on his nephew, seeing something seriously fucked happening and then intervened. He was feeling safe now, his guard getting down and the shadows began to shrink and form back into his own. Demi crossed his arms over his chest, taking a cursory glance to see if there were any medicinal herbs he'd recognized from the books that Zeke read. But there was nothing but grass as far as the eye could see. He waited till Zeke was done with whatever he was doing to Lauryn, calling out his dagger and ripping up a few shreds of his shirt. They were scraps, barely helpful.

Demetri rolled his eyes and sighed as he tore off a longer stretch all around. Turning his shirt into a high crop top just above his belly button. "Come here dumbass. You know your powers don't work on you and we've got to stop the bleeding before it gets worse." He wrapped the strip of shirt around Zeke's arm, pulling it taught to apply pressure on the wound and staunch the flow of blood. "Should have both Apollo and Hecate kids check her out. Could be mind control on either side of the spectrum so better to be safe than sorry." After the help Demi received today from Lauryn, he wanted to make sure she was ok.

Cassian took his tea cup, looking out towards the cabin's doors once more before finally taking his seat along with Annabelle. He gave a gentle blow to help cool it down before taking a sip. It worked to help his nerves, feeling a faint calming sensation as he swallowed his first sip. But there still lingered a lot of uncertainty in everything that was going on and even more so with her answers. "Can Gaia truly be destroyed? Won't she just reform in The Pit and come back? And if she is gone for good...then what is it her agents will do without her?"

Power Vacuums were seldom a good thing in the political world. Cassian could only imagine how bad they would be in a world full of gods and monsters. He took another sip, his shoulders relaxing a bit as his demeanor dropped slightly. "That shadow...whatever it was. It was following us here but as soon as I entered...it stopped. All traces of its presence vanished so I figured. Well that maybe this cabin was protected in some way. Or perhaps whatever it is is afraid to cross Hecate and her children." Cassian drank again, this time a bit longer as he held the cup up to his lips while his eyes stayed fixated on Annabelle.

There was a moment of relief as Max noticed Selene begin to cast what appeared to be a more complex piece of magic. Whatever it was she was attempting to cast had caught the eye of Cripta. Forcing him to Conjure some form of dagger and launch it towards her, hitting another student in her stead as they fell down dead. Max was struggling to come up with ideas on how to best this lovecraftian horror, figuring for now he just had to trust that Selene knew what she was doing. He was about to blast Cripta when suddenly a strange sensation overcame him. His hands began to turn translucent as he felt his being slowly decay. "Uh. Selene, I don't feel so good."

There were a lot of emotions running through Max at this time. But fear prevailed over all of them. He had no idea what to do, how to fight, and all he could think of was having to bide time and distract Cripta long enough for Selene to finish her spell. "I'll keep him busy" he said, leaving the I hope out of the sentence. What they needed were more magically savvy people, ones that could also fight with weapons and not just spells. So he tried his best to conjure up Klara, feeling his spell fizzle out and again when he tried for Runa.

"Concentrate Gray. Strange taught you better." He took a deep breath in, focusing on the task at hand, thinking of Maria Novikova. The mutant who was capable of siphoning abilities and in turn weakening those she took from. He felt his magic stick, and a portal opened up moving towards the ceiling before it closed and revealed Maria. "Got a bit of a massive problem on our hands here and I could really use your help. Also hi how've you been?" Max said, motioning towards Cripta and the dead bodies and gore that now littered the room. With help underway, Max focused back on the sensation he was having and realized just what Cripta had done to him. He turned to look at Selene and Pixie with pleading eyes. "How do I reverse this? He's...he's erasing me from existence."

Harry caught a motion towards his right, turning in time to see as Waverly was unceremoniously thrown down and her body lay lifeless on the floor. He was about to scream, letting out a pitch that could pierce any armor had he had the time to weaponize it. But before the sound could even leave his throat, he was hit by one of the clones right in his throat. Harry grasped at his neck, coughing and gagging as he gasped for air, feeling the pain from the impact. He turned to look at Barry, giving him a nod to have him continue the onslaught on his behalf.

Light dazzled and shot from every direction, but the clones all seemed to move just in time to be out of danger. Barry tried once more, this time with more direct blasts, but still they dodged and weaved through the show as if they were anticipating it now. Harry looked incredulously at the display in prowess and in a fit of desperation and anger was able to pull out the rest of the band. All five of them were out, circling Harry and weaving back and forth in an attempt to confuse the enemy from who the original was.

Max watched in horror as his hydra began to shrink in size. Was his connection not strong enough? His magic too weak? He couldn't figure out why it had started to decline in size until he finally caught a glimpse of what was happening. The barrier that Cripta had erected was siphoning the magic out of his creation and into himself. The orange aura that now surrounded Cripta gave him a menacing
glow. If magic isn't the answer, then he would need to get creative with his powers to defeat this being.

As Max worked to come up with an idea, a large fiery blue kraken appeared, wrapping its tentacles around Max. The flames never quite reached him however as tunes began to encircle him and Max shot a look towards Selene that both said Thank You and I'm Sorry. How many mutants were now paying because of Max's mistake? Pixie called out to him, shaking him out of his mind and back to the task at hand. He placed one hand to his side, conjuring a sword and grasping its hilt and stabbing it forward in an attempt to kill Cripta. But where Max expected flesh and resistance, he instead found an empty void.

If this body wasn't real, then he would have to find some part of him that is. Max tried to rake the sword upwards, wishing to hit something, anything, but he found himself locked in place. A pain began to course inside of him that erupted into a burning sensation. His blood felt as if it was burning him from the inside out. Max grit his teeth and stared Cripta dead in the eyes as he bore the pain. "You won't get me so easily Squidward." His hands finished his own sigil as brilliant golden light washed over him and removed whatever it was that was ailing him. His breath began to regulate again, and he was ready to take another stab. "He can siphon magic and his body seems to be an illusion. Find his source and snuff it out."

Harry was used to being flashy, used to staying in the spotlight and having all eyes on him. To an extent he supposed that was a good thing. A majority of the clones began to rush towards him, encircling him as they scratched and kicked at him. Aside from that, there appeared to be no real set of powers at play here. It was difficult to watch what was happening outside of his fight. The fog of war being made manifest by a swarm of bodies that assaulted him with no break in sight. Harry needed to see what was going on, to see who he could help. He let out a scream akin to Aerosmith's shout during a performance.

The sound reverberated off of the ones bodies as each collision caused pockets of light to become tangible and explode on impact. Seven of them dropped dead in the initial blast, while the remainders seemed to be more resilient to his attacks. Did the clones learn and adapt as battles went on? Or were these just a stronger batch? Harry didn't have the luxury of time to figure it out as he snapped his fingers and dropped 2 more clones, leaving only the one left to go up against him. He cracked his neck and knuckles as he simultaneously pulled out one of his own clones who mirrored what he'd just done. "Let's see if we can even these odds shall we?"

Maddie didn't get a chance to finish his thought. The cat approached him, biting into his hand that hung down towards his side and began to tug towards a particular direction. "Ow! Could've just asked" He said as he rubbed the meat of his hand where the cats mouth had found its purchase. He turned to look towards Willow, answering her question. "I guess we start here." Maddie began to follow the cat, Willow taking the lead alongside Tinkerbell as they turned the corner into a strange alleyway and watched the cat vault over a wall and vanish.

Willow had no issue making her way over as Maddie sighed and looked up at the top of wall partition. "Here goes nothing I guess. Just need a little faith, trust, and…" Maddie placed his foot on Tinks hand, using it to help elevate him as his hands gripped the edge of the wall and he pulled himself up, sitting on the top. He scanned the area on the other side, searching for the mysterious cat, seeing as it was patiently waiting for them. Maddie braced his legs to either side of the wall, holding his hand down for Colby to grab so that he could help him up. "Here b-babe." He said, nerves wracking him as he tried out a cliché but usuable pet name.

Demetri looked away from Zeke, blushing slightly as he complimented his eyes, his real eyes. For the briefest of moments, he contemplated shifting them back, letting his natural color shine through. But as that thought crossed his mind, the air began to chill and a shudder ran down his spine as a voice began to whisper in his ears. Demi turned to see who had spoken, seeing only Zeke in front of him for the moment. He was used to his mind telling him such things, used to the anxiety and denial, to the self hatred. But this...this was different. Before he was able to say anything, Lauryn attacked the two of them, slashing their arms.

Zeke acted quickly, preparing for a fight and getting in between him and Lauryn. Demetri’s heart fluttered at the sight, his breath getting caught in his throat as he pressed away any thoughts that the voice was right. It was clear that Zeke cared for him. Lauryns eyes were still glowing, the sword in her hand, and Zeke was placing himself on the line. He tried not to think of how quickly the box was tossed, focusing now on what to do. He didn't want to hurt Lauryn, but he didn't want Zeke hurt any further than he had been. Panic began to settle in as Demi took one step back unsure of how to proceed. He just wished Lauryn would stop.

As soon as the thought crossed his mind, his shadow began to elongate, stretching underneath Zeke's legs and towards Lauryn. The shadows began to collect, forming an umbral mass that swirled and wrapped around her, holding her tightly in place. "Zeke, I...I don't know how but...I got her. Get your stuff and go find Andy or other children of Hecate. Maybe they can help with whatever is wrong with her."

As Cassian entered the cabin, he felt a calm wash over him. The presence, whatever it was, was gone now. He looked back outside, through the doors, but not daring to go out. His attention was returned back towards Anabelle, listening intently as she told him about various spirits. "These, Eidolons, what exactly are they? What do they want?" He asked as he made his way across the room. Running his fingers across some of the furniture, looking at the books and occult paraphernalia that decorated the place. He couldn't know for certain, but these Eidolon's sounded similar to what he had seen. Mischief was one thing, but the feeling he got off of thar creature...it wanted pain.

Cassian took a seat where Anabelle had motioned. Tapping his finger against his chin while his other had repeated the motion on the table. "Given my nerves I'd say I'm a bit inclined to go with an herbal tea. Perhaps a Chamomile or something with Lavender in it." He paused, mouth partially agape as he thought of what to say next. "Is this cabin warded against Eidolons and other spirits? It feels...quiet in here. In comparison to moments ago outside that is."
