@FantasyChic I was just about to ask if you're gonna be free tomorrow for that; I'll be on the PiratePad all day, and I'm assuming @King Tai will be joining in sooner or later
? ? ?

Collaboration with @King Tai

After speaking with Jonathan about searching for the Groundskeeper, Blaque finally reached the bunker, walking down the halls where some pods were open and others still held a few sleeping toy soldiers. Scanning the room and continuing forward, Blaque wondered how long they have been at this abducting children to have created this many toy soldiers.

His shades picked up another reading of something further down. A weird signal, obviously someone or something different than the others he was witnessing. He walked down to notice a separate pod, walking up to it, seeing a young lady in cryo-stasis. The mission was to save and liberate all the children and these dangerous ones should not be left out as well. He wondered who this girl was and what she was capable of. He would take a risk, but he needed to finish this mission at any cost.

Looking closely, the pod was connected to a computer, causing him to walk over and access her pod, activating the seal to open and thaw her out so to free her. As Blaque typed in the final commands, a loud hiss exhumed from the sides of the pod, filling the surrounding air with a thin white gas. Inside of the pod, the strange fluid that had submerged the teenage girl slowly drained out, causing a thin layer of water to condense on the outside of the glass. Finally, the glass cover lifted, the girl inside falling to the floor.

The girl looked to be in her late teens, with pale white skin and purple streaks through her otherwise midnight hair. She was relatively short and lean in figure, dressed in nothing but a medical gown, leaving her arms and legs bare, revealing several long cuts and large bruises across her toned, thin muscles. Just as suddenly as she had dropped to the ground, the girl began coughing madly, a mixture of cryo-fluid and mucus being forced from her lungs, onto the smooth tile floor.

Watching this girl, Blaque walked a little closer to get a good look at her and to try and explain who he was as his sword was still in hand while staring down the young lady. He needed to get her attention. "Hey, are you okay? My name is Bla--"

In a sudden blur, the girl had swung her leg against Blaque's hand, kicking at his weapon before forcing herself up from the ground with her hands. A crazed yell escaped from her lips as she lunged at the man in shades, trying to wrap her arms around his waist as she pushed forward in an attempt to tackle him.

The moment she kicked, he nearly lost his sword, but that was not something he was wishing to use on the young lady. With her yell and trying to get into guard, he saw that she was trying to tackle him as he went to try and hold her arms, getting in a wrestling stance. She was surprisingly agile and quick despite just getting out of a pod. "Hey, hey... Calm down... I'm not here to harm you," he said.

"Bullshit!" the girl exclaimed, folding her arms in to bring her body closer to Blaque, ramming her forehead toward Blaque's skull. With a quick weave of his head and with the move of his free hand, Blaque's palm caught her forehead, pushing her back a little to gain a little distance. "I'm being honest. If I wanted to hurt you, I would've done it before you had time to react. In fact, I would've just killed you while you were still in stasis..." He mentioned.

Blinking, the girl's angry expression turned to confusion, as in only a moment, Blaque had been able to stop her attack with his hand, which would've broken any other fool's wrist. Letting go of her grip on the man's arms, the girl took a small step backward as she stared into the pitch-black shades covering Blaque's eyes. A brief silence filled the air of the bunker, the two figures caught in a staring match, one waiting for the other to make a move. Finally, the girl winced in pain, lifting her hands to her temples. In only a few seconds, she had fallen to her knees, her brain pulsating wildly.

Watching her for a moment and ready for the next round of attack just in case, Blaque stared on for a bit longer before she suddenly expressed her pain, falling to her knees, causing him to look on curiously for just a second before moving closer. "What's going on?" he asked her. She may be in pain, but he had no idea what the cause of it was.

"Don't... Don't touch me!" she exclaimed as she fell back, scooting across the hard tile. She didn't get very far before her back was pressed up against the side of another pod, causing her to glance about frantically as she curled further into a ball, the pain visibly wearing the girl out.

"No more needles, I-- I'll kill you!" though the threat would've come across as serious, the girl's shrunken form made a mockery of her words. Panic had begun to work its way into the girl's eyes, though she still scowled at Blaque with a deranged ferocity.

Blaque did as told by not touching her but wondered just how messed up was she? What did Weber possibly do to her. "Do you need me to get you anything? Meds, or something else?" he asked her trying to be of some help. He could knock her out but he needed answers from her and getting violent was not a good way to get them. "Weber....what did Doctor Weber do to you?" he asked.

Upon mentioning the doctor's name, the girl's eyes widened in terror, fixed upon the floor as she wrapped her arms around her legs. "So many needles..." she uttered, "It won't stop hurting..." she grimaced again, finally staring up at Blaque, the hint of tears forming in her eyes. "He better be dead," the girl finished, her voice cracking from the mix of pain, anger, and horror that filled her mind.

Blaque analyzed her from her behavior and crouched down. "Those needles... the pain you felt... you won't feel that anymore. He'll never hurt you again, because I won't allow it. That's why I'm here. I'm here to take you and all the other children he hurt, out of here... I'm just asking you to trust me so that we can leave from this nightmare forever. My name is Blaque... What's your name?"

The girl felt the tension in her muscles ease as Blaque spoke, the words he gave seemingly filled with genuine intentions. Breathing deeply, she adjusted her posture, sitting upright to appear more collected. Clearing her throat, she spoke with subtle confidence. "Jinx... My name's Jinx."

I like it! Though, I would need to know the other four kits in the litter; just basic names for 'em, and pictures if you so desire. Other than that, it looks good!
@Ambra LET IT BE A FIGHT TO REMEMBERRRR!!!!

Lol but anyway, there'll be a post up for Flamestorm and Nightpaw tonight!

Interacting with @Ambra (Iceheart)

Quickly becoming rather dissatisfied with his bony fish-tail breakfast, little Rainpaw scanned the immediate horizon, a lion gazing across his kingdom. Within an instant, the hunter spotted the half-eaten remains of a delicious-looking Mahimahi, but alas - the rest of the fish laid in the fearsome clutches of Iceheart, Rainpaw's mortal enemy! Ever since the eve the cruel and wicked Iceheart wrapped his filthy paws around the large, fat rabbit that Rainpaw had planned to nab for dinner, the two had become enthralled in stupendous combat!

The clever little cat sprung into a prowl, sneaking away the distance between himself and (what he hoped) would become his breakfast. Suddenly, Iceheart blinked, causing the phantom feline to lunge behind a nearby thicket. Letting a sigh escape his lips, Rainpaw considered his options. For one, he could retreat from his mission, but that would only leave him with the guilt of defeat and a bit of an empty stomach. Clearly, the only viable option was to press forward, determined to either attain glory or fall as a true warrior.

With a fierce fire set ablaze in his eyes, the brave Rainpaw lept from his cover, letting out a 'mew' of feline terror!

Interacting with @sMoKe (Stormfur), @1Hawkeyes (Hawkpaw), and @ADParis(Shadestep)

Through a small grin, Cavetooth nodded to Hawkpaw as she stepped back. "Good morning, young'un," he spoke in his leisurely drawl, spotting Stormfur as she approached the group. He tipped his head in greeting to her, before an unnerving thought passed through his mind - just where was his grandson? Just then, a brief shiver went down his spine. Whatever Rainpaw was getting himself into, he had better not be dumb about it!

Sorry for the absence! Been a bit busy irl recently, but should be able to get a post up tomorrow around 1-ish. We'll be moving things along soon after that, so sorry if it's been a bit slow recently!
A great bellowing hurrah sounded from Abet Drakethorn as the boulder of a dwarf lept into combat, the great Warhammer of Drakethorn swung behind his helm. As he fell, he brought the smooth, flat stone upon a swordsman's head, cracking through the steel helm the man wore and crushing his skull. As the mercenary screamed out in pain, Abet gazed briefly at his side, as a musket man aimed the barrel of his gun at the stocky dwarf. In an instant, Abet swung his free right hand in front of him, calling out to Aznathin with a boom of his voice. Just as suddenly as he spoke, the fire of the gun burst through the air toward Abet.

A cracking of glass pierced the air as the bullet fell upon the ground, a yellow wall of mana fading from sight. Smirking, Abet shot himself forward, his hammer trailing behind him, swinging his left arm toward the rifleman, bringing the edge of the hammer into the man's side. A burst of icy-blue light shone from the contact, freezing the flesh beneath the silk shirt, the blunt force of the hammer striking it causing the wound to nearly shatter. The rifleman fell to the ground, wheezing up blood, his body nearly broken in half.

Abet turned to Nicholas, whom the dwarf had recalled having just a bit too much to drink the first night of their travel; really caused by Abet's pressuring of the man. An axeman had set his sights upon the simple warrior, who was in the midst of a duel with a gunner who had drawn his blade. Abet began running toward the gap between the two, lifting his hammer behind him as he charged; the axeman had already lunged, swinging his arm down toward Nicholas. Abet brought his warhammer down, striking the earth, shouting out a great roar of the words of shielding. A small crack in the ground pierced through the dry soil toward the axeman, and as his arm fell, it smashed into the same amber wall of mana Abet had conjured before. The axeman let out a cry of pain, before Abet jumped forward again, slamming his hammer into the man's chest.

Catching his breath, Abet set his back up to Nicholas, shouting out a bit of combat wisdom in a few gasps for air. "Ya owe me... A pint fer... That one, lad!" The sweating dwarf chortled, swinging his hammer at a charging swordsman, shattering the man's collar bone. "'Ow many ya think there be?" Abet shouted to the Ranirocan fellow, Varyon, before forcing his hammer's pommel into the stomach of a nearby swordsman.

@Ambra I'll interact with Iceheart real quick, if you wanna do that

"Yeow!!" Rainpaw lept up in pain, the tip of his tail pulsing after the other feline's foot came down upon it. Rainpaw glared at Wildpaw as the young tom skipped out of the den, dancing around the other cats about him. How his foot so clumsily fell on Rainpaw's tail, Rainpaw didn't much care, though he pushed the thought of revenge away from his mind. Now fully awake, a small breeze pushed its way through the eucalyptus roots, sending a shiver down the small cat's spine. After a brief yawn and a licking on his lips, Rainpaw trotted out from the den, into the chill air of the camp. The place was already buzzing with activity, as many cats were busy chatting or playing. Rainpaw glanced about in anticipation, noting the absence of Cavetooth. Though there was a brief moment of worry, Rainpaw pushed the thought down, as his grandfather had a history of slipping away from the camp at night.

In his boredom, Rainpaw meandered through the camp, nodding to the cats that looked his way. Though he had known these felines all his life, Rainpaw still felt a bit distant from most of them, and only met their gaze briefly before looking away. Finally, he had found himself near the fresh-kill and took his time to look over the scraps that remained. Picking at the pile briefly, he settled with what looked to be the remains of a fish's tail and pulled it to the side, propping himself up against a nearby tree, picking away at the little pieces of meat that remained. Just where could Cavetooth be?

Interacting with @LetMeDoStuff@ADParis

Adrenaline coursed through the old cat's veins as he sprinted along the forest floor, determined in his pursuit. Primal instincts had long since kicked in, and the thrill of the hunt pushed him forward, until he was finally upon it. A small shriek filled the air as piercing sharp claws dug into the fleeing rodent, followed by the brief few seconds of tackling and sinking sharp teeth into the creatures neck, shaking twice to end its life, then throwing it into the air with a childish glee. Though it wasn't something he usually had done, Cavetooth felt that having a good hunt after a long night of worrying helped to set his mind at ease, and he began his trot back to camp to begin the daily resupply of fresh-kill.

After arriving back at camp, Cavetooth waltzed toward the center to deposit the small rodent into the pile, turning his gaze toward his grandson. Rainpaw seemed rather content with his fish tail, making Cavetooth smile, before he went to sit among the cats that had gathered around Frostbite. As Cavetooth settled in, he locked eyes with the young Koa and nodded, his blank expression noting the silence they had agreed upon concerning the previous night.

"Ah, Shadestep, lookin' bright-eyed as ever, I see," the tom smiled at the larger she-cat, trying to make idle conversation and clear his mind.
