History: Born into a middle-class, somewhat troublesome marriage, it was no surprise to young Jessa when her parents decided to divorce when she was 10 years old. His father had moved to the other side of town, where three years later had met the one who would become his new wife, Madeline. Meanwhile, Jessa’s mother Judith began to work extra hours to support herself and her daughter, as child support wasn’t enough for all the needs that needed to be covered. Instead of going in the wrong direction, the difficult events made the young woman focus more in school, to the point where she had been top of her class every year and was currently named class Valedictorian. She was also a photographer for the school's yearbook. It wasn’t her parents’ divorce which made Jessa go Goth, as most people thought. She’d been attracted to the style for a long time, but was only able to adopt it after her father was gone, since he believed it to be satanic and wrong. When he found out about how his sweet little girl had turned Goth, he began to treat Jessa curtly and blamed Judith for the change.

History: Laura had been a celebrity since before her birth. She was the only daughter to the CEO of the FTC (Julius) and his third trophy wife (Lurieth), a world-class top model at the time. Her parents' marriage had been one much criticized, since rumor had it that Lurieth had been the cause of Julian's divorce from his second wife. However, these rumors were forgotten as soon as word broke that Laura was on the way. Lurieth had decided to retire from her modeling career to 'raise her daughter', though this was far from true because she was away most of the time due to her many charity compromises. Laura, the trophy daughter, had been born with everything except her parents' attention. No matter how hard she tried (top grades, starring roles in ballet recitals and such), there was always an excuse to be absent. But instead of turning into the crazy party girl most daughter of billionaires became, Laura had been the complete opposite. The fear of being utilized had turned her completely antisocial, to the point where the media had given her the nickname of "Ice Queen". She embraced the title proudly, because in Laura's position, everybody wanted to kiss her, kill her or be her. She was set to receive access to her father's fortune on her twenty-first birthday.
