Hmm, so would there be another Traverse the Wilderness roll for the rest of the journey, or are we in the clear?
@Vertigo

Hmm. In this circumstance I don't think there's anything too crazy to really reveal; it's an item small enough to be held in one hand, and appears to slide into a groove carved into the Farmer's hand to be secure. This is unlike the Rose in the Prince's hand, which is simply set into his hand and loose.

Gotcha! I'll edit that into my post so he doesn't get stuck in limbo.
Would you like to go next @Guardian Angel Haruki or should I? I think we've lost Digizel for now at least ):
Me, interpreting Epyllion correctly for once? That's a nice change of pace :'D No worries!
Had fallen asleep, whoops! Hmm, she was probably calling out in general, not even knowing what specifically she was asking for - just something magical in the forest that would draw the rodents away. Some noise, light, smell, maybe some natural phenomenon like flowers blooming all of a sudden, or maybe something that would make their hardworking nature flare, like something making a mess in their forest. I can settle on a specific thing too if needed though, maybe some sort of a combination; particularly enticing, vibrant flowers starting to bloom all over the place?

The +1 was the Friendship Gem returned if I understood the wording correctly. Or does this mean that you need to use one gem anyway, and if you use more than one, you can add those to the result?

MOON MAGIC: When you call upon the magic of the moons, roll +Friendship Gems Returned.

Having never set foot inside a tomb before, I'Rajith was so excited by the prospect of experiencing something new that he forgot to show due reverence. His hand trailed along the stone wall for no other reason than to feel what it'd be like, and he had to constantly struggle against an urge to call out into the darkness and see whether anything would answer. Ghost, echo or imagination; any of them would do.

Then they arrived into the antechamber with its many statues, and I'Rajith wasted no time reaching his unnaturally long, cracking limbs up at each of them in turn. His fingers looked like dark spiders, running across the stony skin of the statues as he examined them for... well, he didn't truly know.

Out of all of them, it was the statue of a man with a downcast gaze that piqued his interest the most. Not due to particularly detailed stonework, but because something seemed amiss - literally. Its empty hand was meant to grasp something, and I'Rajith couldn't help but wonder what, and why. Was it something valuable, stolen from the tomb by a scoundrel? Or something frail enough to be eroded away by time? Was whatever was taken perhaps a key that might unlock a new path if returned, like in tales of old?

Perhaps it was none of those things. Perhaps it didn't matter. But I'Rajith ran his spidery fingers around the hand regardless, trying to find answers. The Noctem hadn't noticed the paths. Only the promise of a mystery, and the chance to be the one to solve it for once.

That was, until the peculiar chill became unbearable. He shuddered, though not out of cold. "Something lingers here," he murmured to the others, fingers sliding off the stone statue, his search unfruitful. "Whether we seek riches, answers or shelter, I believe it awaits further ahead."

One long finger rose to point to the path closest to him (Path 1).
I heard horror, I'm in
Posted. I don't know who Fellwing sacrificed to the dice gods for these rolls. :'D She's gonna watch all her friends grow up and stay a baby drake forever.

Seeing Stargaze draw in a breath next to her, Fellwing could only assume her friend had a plan. So when all that came out was an unnatural squeak, she was almost as surprised as the rodents that threatened them. But only almost; while they still hesitated, Fellwing took the opportunity to take a closer look. There was a nagging feeling in the back of her mind that she'd been trying to ignore ever since she realized she'd seen the creatures before, and she needed confirmation that she was just imagining it.

Her gaze jumped from one rodent to the next, searching for clues, answers, proof, and the more she saw, the more her stomach turned. Remnants of more fairy like features, torn pieces of clothing, and... oh, no...

A small gasp escaped her as her eyes settled on a larger rodent snarling up at her. It couldn't be...

"Bartley?" she asked out loud, unsure if he was in any state to recognize his name. She doubted it. "Stargaze..." she whispered, almost afraid to hear the very words she was about to speak, "These... they are brownies. Used to be." And hopefully, would be again. There had to be a cure.

With that revelation, Fellwing's mind was made. They shouldn't hurt them, if they could at all avoid it. Brownies were easily distractable - something more interesting than them would surely draw them away. But they had to act fast.

"Everyone, be prepared to run!" Fellwing shouted, inhaling sharply. This time, she wasn't preparing to call forth Darkness - but the power of the moons. She hadn't called to them often in her life, always afraid they'd find her - a drake so closely connected with the Darkness - unworthy of their help, but the need was dire now. She needed to create a distraction somewhere behind the brownies. Her friends were with her, and she couldn't risk shadow magic going awry.

Grabbing food and then figuring out a post! Easily distractable and hard working, huh. Sort of reminds me of jiang-shi - that has to stop and count rice grains if you throw some on its path :D too bad we got none. Err, what sort of things can moon magic do? I imagine it can probably create a pretty good distraction, if nothing in the environment is good for that.

Edit: Nvm, found moon descriptions in the first post, reading now!

Also oof, I figured the bloating rodents might have been brownies, but to actually have Bartley be among them... I wonder if this is reversible.
