Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

@sassy1085: Okay, um...

Neither of the backstories really work. Gail's doesn't because, um, if she was doing magic at home why wouldn't they believe in magic? Especially if they knew about the existence of a magic school like Ishikawa. And you can't really enroll in a school just by running away to it. ^^;

As for the second, um... I... don't really understand? It's verging into being overly dark though.
Speaking of cute appearances, I at least like to imagine I did a good job with Tsukimi given it's just a sketch and I'm not really a great artist. ^^; But anywaaay...

@Damiann47: That could be fairly entertaining, really.

Edit: Wait, someone was talking over home ec privately with me.
Welp, that's an awkward thing to find when you use a character picture for something.
Accepted.
Goldibanne, Face of Innocence(?)

Goldibanne's cheeks puffed up in an exaggerated pout. Even if the girl's decision to ride on sawblades was considerably wonderful, the decision to basically blow her off was not. The doll didn't approve of that kind of reaction. Not one bit. So, with a huff, she turned and climbed into the van, leaning towards the men in the front and grinning as she did. They were a fair amount taller then her, and seemed like the rough type, but she still gave them a cheerful, friendly grin regardless.

"Fufufu, it's nice you meet you~" she said, "My name is Goldibanne~"
So I'm going to be starting this on Wednesday, unless plans change massively somehow.
Alrighty.

And one of the knives had snapped in half from being swung around a little. This woman was potentially the worst con artist that Maria had ever heard of. Did she think people who see her outfit and be so struck by how fancy it was that they'd ignore how shoddy all the items she was selling were? It was pretty ridiculous. And now she was demanding reparations for the damaged items, even though Maria could see from here that the knife had been glued back together and that it had broken under barely any stress.

"..."

Maria picked the lump of charcoal and the string back up. Swiftly, recalling just how it had been wrapped, she tied it back around the charcoal in the same loose, haphazard fashion that she had first seen it, complete with a knot that looked like it would come apart at any moment. She sat it back down on the table.

"There. See? Just a lump of charcoal on a string. If it was the... whatever you said it was, it wouldn't be so easily fixed, now would it?"
I think I'll go ahead and say that the least human monstery people I'd be accepting of would be something like a naga or a harpy, where they do have a majorly different thing about them(nagas have a snake tail for legs, harpies have bird wings for arms) but they still have a lot of human features.

I'd also still like a human majority for anyone working on characters. ^^;

Super vague backstory for Koyomi but there we go. ^^;
