Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

I want to write up my settings, but I'm hesitating because there's a LOT of information to both of them. ^^;

... Also might be using a third character but not sure yet.
@Crimson Raven: If you have any questions at all, please ask!
@Monochromatic Rainbow: Oh, I'm sorry to hear that, I missed the posts here entirely.
As Irial surveyed the wrecked ship, letting everyone else do the work(to be fair, there wasn't much she could do. She wasn't exactly a physical powerhouse), she mourned the loss of her books. There was no way they had survived such a wreck. All those repositories of knowledge, gone. All because of some stupid shipwreck. The thought of it made her angry. Using a quick motion spell, she managed to clear away some sand at the very least, to make some of the others have an easier time spotting things. However, she wasn't seeing much of use to her. She'd let the others find whatever it was they deemed useful. The small high elf was on the look out for anything, anything that would be of help to someone with the nature of a mage.

And, to her surprise, she found it. A glittering, red gem, half-buried in sand... in an instant, she had stepped forward and snatched it up in her free hand, even before anyone else could react to its presence.

"This is mine," Irial declared, simply, "It's not as if any of you would have any use for it, anyway."

Also, um, noticed mention of "characters must obey the rules of the universe" and "characters may change appearance" in the characters tab. For the former, how do you mean? And for the latter, how drastic would that be and how enforced is it?
@Mr Allen J: I read the thing about it being in the characters tab and thought you meant put it there first sorry. ^^;

Usually I would put it in the OOC first but for some reason that stood out to me more then the big red letters.
I need to figure out who to use. Hmm.
