Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

Do that and she's accepted.

Edit: And accepted.
@liferusher: Hmmm, honestly I'd think it would be more of a birth defect rather then just what happens? Just some advice to make it a bit more logical in my mind at least. ^^;
@liferusher: Big improvement, though I do think the "half power" thing needs a better explanation. ^^;

@Jedly: Admittedly still hesitant but I'll get a good look at it.
Go ahead and make your edits and I'll keep thinking on this.
Hmmm... It's just that this is one of those areas of the setting I've been as vague as possible on previously, so I hope you understand my hesitation. ^^;
Technically, the life essence just sort of lingers for a bit, since it's the body no longer being able to use it rather then it running out. This is how homunculi can be made.

Part of my concern here is that the afterlife and mechanics related to it(aside from ghosts) are deliberately left vague in this setting.
Well, the thing is, technically speaking in-universe there's two parts to the soul. There's basically just life energy, which is stuck in a body and makes it live, and then there's the consciousness, which begins existing when the body is actually capable of thought and is what actually constitutes a ghost and is what actually goes to whatever's beyond the veil.
@Natsu: That's good now, accepted.

@Jedly: ... Ah, here we're getting into some of the more complicated mechanics of the soul and stuff in-setting. I'm not sure about this idea, in part because of those mechanics.
Glad to hear it.
@KoL: As long as she's not pulling reality-warping stuff and you double-check with what it is before you go ahead and do it, okay.
