Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

A wereloli?!
Nagas are actually pretty common, as are djinn. ^^;

The latter probably are in the setting as a type of spirit, not sure about the former.
It's just you were trying to work out character ideas then brought it up. ^^;

I think part of why some of these creatures don't get used is, well... Aswang, the example you used, eat unborn children.

It's not like a vampire where you can take one of many interpretations. Or say that they don't have to kill to drink blood. It's easy to excuse one not being a monster that's impossible to interact with in an RP.

Aswang... are monsters you can't really interact with. ^^;

As for this RP, well, youkai are the target supernatural creatures for this given location.
@Rin: I still think you made her look appropriately adorable.

Fanilly is short, cute, and has already killed several people at this point in the RP.
Huh, why did you bring it up here then? ^^;

And to be honest, a lot of the more obscure supernatural creatures are really weird and hard to portray accurately(or semi-accurately) anyway.
Probably because it doesn't make sense in this context, like @Rin said. ^^;
I actually got less police characters then I anticipated is somewhat the issue as of now. Either way, she does seem like she'd make sense there.
@Dblade26: Hotaru is a miko, an onryo might definitely be something she would have interest in dealing with at least.
I'm hoping to be able to post in the next couple of days, at the moment.

Where's @themerlinhawk? D:
Kogasa is very cute, yes.

Anyway, team cat: You may in fact be totally wrong about this being easy.

We'll see. :D
