Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

I don't think it amounts to a literal connection in the way the swords potentially are connected, either.
@Beloss: I mean the whole plan. ^^;
I wonder if Walgrave realizes how horrendously, horribly bad his current plan can backfire so easily.
Fanilly was silent for a few moments. Well, that explained why Princess Eliabelle would be glad to have a Sult she could exert control over... even if it seemed like a bit of an absurd explanation, it still was one. But this situation, well... Nero was a knight. Fellow nobility. And now she was dressed as a maid, under the loss conditions of a... very very strange duel. After a few moments of silent confusion, the blonde tried desperately to figure out some sort of response. It wouldn't be proper to completely discount the conditions of the duel, and yet... could she simply declare a fellow noble her maid? No, she could not, and she did not want to. Yet there had to be some sort of compromise, something that could be done...

The short girl took a deep breath. Now, perhaps, she had hit upon a reasonable idea that would neither entirely ignore the duel's conditions nor enter into the... strange... maidly circumstances that were being involved. Especially given she could not imagine Sult would not be returned to their order.

"You... will work as a maid for today, and after that we will discuss your joining of our order," Fanilly declared. Yes. This, at least, made some level of sense to the girl.

Of course, today would soon become somewhat more complicated.
To be fair, Zelretch does not exactly just banish people to other universes when he fights.

He does pull things from other universe to help him fight, though.
@AtomicNut: The ritual has been modified(since this was done in association with the Einzbern and Zelretch was part of the establishment of the ritual anyway) so the Servants don't... start fighting immediately.
To add to @Rin's post, she's probably taking Jack over.
Arturia Pendragon, Saber

Saber paused for a moment. Pretty...? Well, that was... hardly relevant, and a somewhat awkward comment to make, truthfully. Even if it were true, which the blonde knight hardly believed was the case, she was a knight before she was anything else. Still... such a comment make mild heat spread in her cheeks from the awkwardness, but she swiftly managed to dismiss it. After a few moments, in which her Master seemed to degenerate into near-incoherency, Saber simply waited until she was done speaking before making her response.

"My class is Saber," she replied, simply, nodding her head as she did. It was, indeed, the only class that Arturia Pendragon could be called into. Her Master also seemed intent on avoiding being referred to as, well, 'Master'. While Saber was uncertain as to why, it was not exactly something she was unfamiliar with. After all, during her previous summoning...

... Irisviel...

No kind thought was in Saber's mind for her true Master in the previous grail war, unlike the lady of the Einzbern. But this girl appeared to be a different sort, at the very least, and her circumstances were an entirely different one. And that was exactly why she had to swiftly remind herself to focus on the present situation. The entire world, after all, was at stake.

"Katenka," she said, affirming her Master's request to be referred to by her given name, "We should immediately begin coordinating with the other Masters and their Servants in order to quickly halt this threat."

Naturally, preparing for the upcoming conflict was immediately Saber's intent.

"As such, we should follow the others."
Oh, sorry, I missed that.
And so Faust introduces herself... kind of, and Althienna attempts to defuse a situation(while clearly being biased to her own Servant but hey).
