Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

Since everything aside from theme is posted, I'll go ahead and give you the go-ahead.

Accepted.
Hahahaha, "working".

In any case, I'm going to probably aim for the end of this week at the latest to start.
@BrokenPromise: Definitely not in this case. ^^; There will be a very serious plot, but not like that.

After fairies get a magical girl, they pretty much stick to those duties of tending to their magical girls. They likely have to report on how they're doing, of course.

@HereComesTheSnow: They get made up on contracting with a fairy. Sometimes by the girl, sometimes by the fairy. There's a case of a NET(since she is a student still) becoming a magical girl and her fairy becoming so frustrated she calls her "Magical Girl Shut-In Chie".

They're pretty set unless the magical girl wants to change it.
@BrokenPromise: Not all magical girls do. Some do, not all of them.

The ones that do have a few different reasons. One is the fame, for sure. Another reason is pride. One might just be two magical girls getting mad at each other and not wanting to be around one another.

Of course, other magical girls might want to work with their fellow magical girls as well.

The competition over territory isn't universal but it does happen.
Probably.

It helps that most magical girls time their patrols for later in the day or at night, so unless there's a Negari attack during the day there's less of a chance of being seen transforming.
Pretty much, yes. Usually pretty secret.
@Crimmy: They're typically "lots of light, girl floats around, her clothing somehow goes away and gets replaced with her magical girl outfit" but they vary a lot within those bounds. Like what causes the clothing to go away(fire is an example of something that Akane's probably going to have) and that kind of stuff.

They do all also share the startup for their transformation phrase, which is "Ignite Heart!", but after that it can be anything. Like... "Ignite Heart! Let's go, blazing!" or something.
@HereComesTheSnow: Yeah, some magical girls get a little too caught up in the popularity side of things.

There's one from another city who even livestreams her patrols.

@Crimmy: I was considering a couple having obtained sponsoring at least.
Accepted.
"It's enough to give us some clues on our perpetrators' methodology," replied Toshiko, looking back down the hall. It was fairly clear to her that they were dealing with someone who had done this before, knowing where to place the ofuda to avoid magical reprisal and still move the walls to a different location wasn't something an unskilled amateur would be capable of doing. Or, for that matter, a first-time thief. And indeed, it ruled out a member of the Daidouji family being responsible for bypassing the defense spells, at least. After all, the Daidouji didn't practice onmyodo. "Given the Daidouji's habits, we can determine that they weren't responsible for breaching the defenses, at least."

It was at this point that Yuuno chimed in.

"I don't understand it, but don't you want to see where the vase was?" she asked, walking ahead and looking back at the detective and her employee.

"Ah, of course, Yuuno-chan," replied Tokyo. Really, the young Daidouji girl was quite cute. With that, she proceeded onward, and Toshiko followed.

It wasn't much longer before they reached the room in which the vase was held. It was circular, with a pedestal in the center upon which a glass case sat. Right now, it was empty.
