Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

@Queen Tomato: Something that is a skeleton would be a spirit possessing a skeleton or undead.

I'm saying you have to render youkai in a human-like appearance, be it the "actually they look like this!" reasoning or shapeshifting. I don't want someone playing a hooved horned monster covered in eyes or something for this. ^^;
Alright, then, accepted.
That's also a bit of a weird area because of how the soul works. ^^;

You could say something like they lose stamina through the wound until it's cleansed and healed.
Hmmm.

I'm not sure bleeding mana entirely works with how mana functions in-setting, though the other stuff works well enough.
Okay, I need to decide how far to make the timeskip and when to skip to really. ^^;
@AtomicNut: Thinking on it I'd like to know what spiritual wounds actually do in this case.
Well that's the person I was most concerned about given she hadn't posted yet, but anyone else want to weigh in before I go ahead? ^^;
I might just timeskip today, I'd like to move on. Is everyone okay with that?
@AtomicNut: Okay, one thing I noticed is, um... I didn't realize you were still going with the prototype thing. Especially if he's been around for such little time, it doesn't make much sense.

@Queen Tomato: Okay, have to be honest, this idea doesn't work out much. A walking skeleton would be undead, which requires necromancy and a lot of other more complicated stuff.

Alternatively a possessed skeleton or something like that.

@easy modo: Yeah, decided to try again.
Accepted.
