Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

@Feisty-Pants: Um, yeah, just need to copy-paste it into the characters tab and you're free to start posting.
@Feisty-Pants: While I'd admit I'd prefer an illustration for her image(mostly because everyone else used an illustration so it'd be more consistent) as the bio is now she's acceptable.
Interest for sure.
Specific limitations on The Ultimate Eye, specifically, and and maybe a bit more on the targeting abilities of Heaven's Strike.

... Also this is a little nitpicky, but Heaven does not really exist in setting, Reon's Sun Palace and Mayon's Moon palace serve that purpose. ^^; It'd make sense to maybe rename it to something sun-related since that can be tied to Reon.
I can second ghastly there really. ^^; I'd like some clarifications and elaborations on the magic.
Where is everyone? : (
@RolePlayerRoxas: Well, hmm...

It's not necessarily the setting itself being a bad idea, it's more trying to work out what we could be doing there, I suppose?

If we do canon-involved things stuff gets complicated.
I can second Fate. Preferably something semi-original(as in not a Grail War covered by canon so far) so you can be a bit more flexible. OR Tsukihime, same setting either way. Melty Blood could be fun. ^^;

Also, like I said, you can, if you want, allow people to GM settings you don't think you know well enough to do so with.

I can volunteer a few different original settings(Urban Fantasy or Fantasy for the most part), there's always Dark Souls or Bloodborne, um... Out of anime I've watched recently I'm not sure I can think of any that would actually be good ideas to try and do in an RP.

... Maybe something Raildex? It's been a while since I watched that but yeah. Re:Zero is probably a bad idea.
@Schwing: At the moment, everything's slowed down and people are mostly heading to a cheap italian restaurant or shopping and talking. At the moment most people aren't aware the others are magical girls.

One thing I do feel is important to mention is basically all about how you can execute things.

Introducing a setting you think would be fun and actually being able to execute being there in a fun manner are two very separate things that can prove quite complicated. ^^;

As for suggestions on my end in terms of worlds, I'm still thinking on it.
