Okay, completed a vers 1 of the OOC. Not as great as it could look, but that's why I have @OneWayOut to review anyway. Seriously, it's so lacking compared to the ideas I have for it. Oh well, I cannot possibly make this look great without awesome players like you all.

Back from the anime con! Legs and feet are sore from clubbing while in cosplay. Shared the same dance floor with Jessica Nigri (Cinder Fall) at said club scene while cosplaying. Voice is gone from screaming at the top of my lungs, while in cosplay. My aura has been drained from drinking so much while in cosplay. So tired after roaming the halls, getting pics taken and ego boosted while in cosplay. Running back and forth from hotel to con in freezing windy weather while in cosplay.

Did I mention...that I was in cosplay?

Okay, my dear Huntsmen and Huntresses. I will work on it straight away as soon as I finish my showing off my cosplay to complete strangers on omegle. Season finale of RWBY was....Let's just say it's gonna help run the story on this. Thank you for staying interested. Hopefully what I have here will mend some broken hearts.

And I hope everyone stays pumped. I really cannot work on this over the weekend, and like I said before, don't expect an OOC until around next week. Sorry, anime con means cosplay and getting drunk; the former not as easy as it sounds.

I think I'm going to go the 'sarcastic merc in it for the money' route on this one. Make bank and have some fun in the process. Why not?

Haven't done a faunus character yet, might go fox. If there are a lot of other faunus though, I probably won't.

Though our list of atrocities may differ, I'm sure one character will have yet to go beyond the point of no return. Hence why I keep saying "void." Jumping into one is like the first time you would murder an entire family. Then it's not so hard to do the same thing, and you just keep falling.

Since this is sandbox my worry is that when people are given no drive or goal, they'll simply lose interest.

So is there anything in place for that? Sure the call to actions, but how about those down times?

Just like the series, where Huntsmen use Mission Boards for employment, our band of Fallen Huntsmen will also take on assignments from Mission Boards that supports a criminal network. There will be several available missions, and more than one can take place at the same time. It seems your concern is about a situation where one does not know what he/she wants to do with their character. Understandable. It's why I have the Mission Boards, it's also meant to help those players who need something to play into to stay engaged (and I'm one those kind). Tired of the action? Need something more than just destroying things? The character I will play is like the plotline keymaster, your character can personally consult with him. Good question.

I'm going to make a naive young character who's in this because he wants to help people, I'm thinking that the whole disgraced bit comes from accidentally killing a teammie during training or something.

I agree with V. I mean, Yang got her arm cut off and all that was shown was yellow dust stuff. Considering she's not bleeding out (nor did Amber when she was shot with an arrow both times) I can only assume Aura comes into effect when it comes to deep wounds like that, so that could be why she's still able to move. Also, Aura helps heal wounds like when Jaune got a cut on his cheek, perhaps it healed her enough to stop whatever bleeding took place prior to her getting Yang out of there.

Inb4 anyone brings up Weiss' scar on her eye and how she was bleeding in the trailer, I have no explanation for that one.

Amber's and Yang's situations are strange. See, Amber clearly still has some Aura left; enough for Pyrrah to absorb, and eventually for Cinder to steal the rest. That arrow finished her off, if not Cinder's Aura-stealing ability, since Aura is the manifestation of the soul (good job watching the door, Jaune). So yeah, why no blood? At least with Yang she was in full super-saiyan. So it was Aura running through her at the moment of the attack. But considering that, how the hell did Adam manage to cut her arm off if Aura is supposed to prevent that from happening? Yang could not have been exhausted of Aura by time of the encounter, hell she fought the least when the Grimm invaded. Either Adam is that damn powerful, or that sword is OP.

As for Weiss, not even RWBY wikia has an answer for the scar. Something to do with the scar already being seen before she receives the injury. So that remains a mystery. Assuming it's a fresh new wound, likely she already depleted her aura reserve, just enough so she could no longer stop attacks from cutting the skin. She can fight and use her abilities, but that protective coat is gone.

Welp I'll express my interest in this, been interested in a RWBY role play for a while but never really wanted the whole academy thing so this works quite well. I also like making distinct characters. Does look a bit full though so we'll see but I'll keep an eye out.

There's some theories going around that dust drug thingies were what Neo used but that's just a theory. And one episode mentioned dust being infused with clothing and even human bodies I think? Also, if dust can be made into a liquid then it could be injected! Maybe the leader of the little band of mercs just also happens to have a lovely supply of these drugs? All plans! :D

Also, isn't blake wounded? I mean Adam stabbed her but she seemed to shrug it off.

Nanomachines, son! Just kidding. It's Aura taking effect. My guess is that it wore off a bit if Adam was able to pierce her (bet it's not the first time either, bowchikawowow). She might have regained it after the emotional trauma of seeing team mate Yang getting seriously injured. That, and she's a survivor, as discussed between her and Ozpin at the first few episodes of Vol 2. A stab to the leg won't stop her from running.

Yeah I'm debating with myself on what kind of character to play.
I'm either thinking a heroic but delusional Huntsman who resorted to terrorism and murdering people to get to his goals, or an Ex-huntress who joined the Whitefang for a short time before she left the group after They were forced to joined Cinder,
so she started doing her own thing to help Faunas and her own morally dubious ways

LOVE this one. Surely Blake could not have been the only one dissatisfied with the White Fang under Adam's leadership. May have been for a different reason, but I like to think that some thought Adam had to be out of his mind to help Cinder.

I got a great idea I want to try, sort of a take on the baby and the wolf story; a wild child huntress that has the unique semblance to control grimm. There is SO much story potential with this type of char I think, including maybe some kind of high end good hunter having tried to get rid of her because of her dangerous power. Maybe one of the GM's or other players could have even found her as a bkid to make sure she was raised for the groups purposes =w=

Just bear in mind that to even be considered a Huntsman/Huntress, one would have had to attended an Academy, such as Beacon. I'm going to be rather lenient here and consider even drop outs of that education level to be Huntsman/Huntresses. So, suppose your character is a wild child Huntress, one who is emotionally close or familiar with the GM(s) characters, it would mean she was found in the wild, taught to live like a normal citizen, and either graduated from Academy or dropped out. Just wanted to make that clear, so the wild child title may be useless at that point, but the concept remains that she was living outside civilization. As for that semblance, it's tricky. Not saying it's impossible, but I cannot see how it could work so easily From what the series tells us, Grimm are destructive towards humanity and their creations, attracted by negative emotions. IF anyone could possess a power that could even be considered control, my guess is that one could somehow project that negative emotion, give it form, and attract a Grimm. Did that make sense? Probably not. See, not so easy. Give it more thought.

OKAY, so this is gonna happen then. NEXT WEEK, FOLKS. I still have an anime con to prepare for this weekend. Uh huh.

SWEET. A couple more people, and you got yourselves a bunch of mercenaries. Well, even if we don't get that many, I'm still going to put it up next week. Because we love you, Monty. T_T

Now, seeing that we're all going to be "bad" Huntsmen and Huntresses, anyone have ideas on what their characters will be like? A fallen Huntsman doesn't necessarily mean a mean-spirited warrior, or a psychotic killer. Doing it for money? Hardly any fame to get in this business of wet works, so perhaps social status upgrade? Maybe you really do enjoy all the killing? Perhaps you're in it for revenge, and you would do anything to get back at the one who wronged you?

Oh, and we don't discriminate; not with our targets, and certainly not with our employees. Equality looks beyond the skin color, gender....and tails. Get my drift?
