Kin watched the entertainment go on for a bit and when the giant woman went off on the newcomer with a tail, he decided that he should speak up and try and defuse the situation. He took out one of his metal orbs and manipulated it into a ten foot tall and five foot wide barrier of steel that was placed between Sheeban and Raddik. Kin then used his powers to lift himself off of the ground and hovered above them with his arms crossed.
"I think you have said enough for one day. Wait till you're in the ring and try to control your roid rage" he said calmly as he watched the fighters below. He wasn't expecting to be a keeper of the peace, but he was willing to do so if the situation was going to get out of hand. Although the thought did cross his mind that if these two fighters began to tear each other part then that would be two less opponents he would have to deal with in the ring. But Kin wasn't one for hoping that some misfortune befell his competitors and so he just decided that it was best to keep things under control.
"Let's not ruin a great day for the tournament with petty fighting and ego clashing" he stated and was curious to see how the muscle woman would react to him intervening in her tirade at Raddik.

Personality: Due to his demonic heritage, Damien has a fiery temper and can very impulsive and rash when it comes to decision making. Damien views himself as a staunch individualist and a genuine disdain for people who constantly look to others to help them. For Damien any acts of heroics on his part is because of his own objective idea of justice. Many have referred to Damien as an objectivist and he has a general disdain for government authority.
Damien prefers to live life on the edge and isn't afraid to go head on into a dangerous situations with little fear. Having the blood of a fire demon inside him means that the urge for chaos and destruction burns deeply within him. He uses vigilantism to help keep his demonic impulses under control since most people don't care if he makes criminals suffer.
He also has a cocky side that will show up if he feels that his power is greater than that of his enemies and will toy around with them, which can leave him open to making mistakes and surprise attacks. Damien is also very tenacious and will make sure to take down as many foes as he can before he goes down and he is not afraid to turn the battlefield into a flaming inferno if he feels that he has to in order to come out on top.
Backstory/Origin: Damien's father was a fire demon by the name of Haelm, who was spawned from the Realm of Conception and was revered for his great strength among ancient cultures. When the modern world came about his name became obscure and only remembered by those who practiced the occult. One day a cult of demon worshipers wanted to be given the power of the Demon Fire burning within Haelm and they performed a summoning ritual bring him to the material plane.
Once summoned Haelm offered them power by having one of their female members sire him a child who would have powers beyond any normal human. Damien's mother was the first to agree to the proposal and through their courtship Damien was born. He was raised within the cult who sought to use him as a weapon and this included his own mother. They taught him how cast spells of fire and destruction and made plans to use his abilities to seize power and live like kings and queens. But like with fire Damien was a fiery independent spirit and hated being controlled, he was his own person.
When he was 14 he decided that he had enough of the cult and his mother and left them, but not without having to show his incredible power by scorching a few of them who tried to stop him. After he left the cult his father appeared before him and explained to him that he was destined to help bring about the end of the world. Damien told his father that knowing this wouldn't stop him from living his life how he saw fit and simply turned away and went on with his life.
Thanks to having amazing gifts, Damien was able to find work as a mercenary when not doing the occasional act of heroics on the side and it helped channel his desire for destruction. He took the alias Hellhound, which became a widely renown name thanks to his year of mercenary work and vigilantism.

Kin felt good after registering for the tournament and he double checked to make sure that his cloak was nice and clean to make a good first impression before the fights began. He made sure to tell the staff of the tournament to be announced under his alias Magnetar so that if his parents decided to watch or hear about the tournament then he wouldn't be found out and have to explain his mutant abilities. His excitement was rising as he thought of being able to use his powers to win a tournament. He had dreamed of being able to compete in the World Martial Arts Tournament since he was a little and now thanks to his mutant abilities he could actually have a shot at winning the contest.
He still however would have to find someway to explain the massive money prize for winning the entire contest, but he would figure that out later. With his robes and cloak on he was confident that no one back home would recognize him especially while wearing goggles similar to the ones worn by skiers. He decided to head to the waiting room while the tournament was still getting ready and once there Kin saw that there were several other fighters already there. The first one that he noticed was the big muscular woman making a lot of noise and then he also spotted a pterodactyl looking humanoid. Finally he noticed the other human fighters as well as one that gave him a feeling that she wasn't exactly human, and this made him wonder what the competition would be like for the tournament.
The big muscular woman gave an arrogant monologue about her superiority over her opponents that Kin found amusing, but it appeared to tick off another female fighter who looked she was dressed up as a witch for Halloween. Kin became curious when he heard her claim to be a witch. So there were users of magic here, he had heard stories of people who could use the arcane arts, but he had never seen it done and was somewhat skeptical of the whole thing, but this fighter was claiming to be one. The so-called witch's speech didn't seem to intimidate the giant woman and she on another monologue about how she would crush the witch and Kin just had to shake his head and chuckle at the woman's loud and cocky words.
Some more words were exchanged between the two women and then he saw the witch tossed a crystal at Sheeban and the boastful fighter caught it. He then watched Beryl walk off out of the waiting room. No magic is just knowledge of the mystic arts passed on through teaching. There's also black magic granted by demons and devils, which can vary in power depending on the power of the entity.

He gets a good deal of his joy from inventing magical artifacts and using them for hero work. Cain is both book smart and street smart, and he is a natural problem solver. He has adequate detective skills and is good at finding clues when he has crimes with a mystery that he has to solve.
Cain is very cynical and a staunch individualist when it comes to his world view and some have described him as being an objectivist right out of Ayn Rand's literary works. Because of these qualities, Cain has a rather contemptuous and semi-hostile view of the federal government and views that private citizens and local government offer better solutions to problems involving the nation and economy. In terms of hero work, Cain finds his job as a crime fighter as form of public service for the good of society.
Despite his inhuman appearance mannerism and language had an etiquette befitting a person of old school New England elites. When it comes to morality, Cain doesn't view himself as being gray in his stances on what is right and wrong. His morality is based on logic and reason as well as an examination of laws and their effects on society as a whole. For Cain justice is based on distributing punishment fairly among the guilty, no criminal is above receiving proper justice.
Cain also has strong silver tongue and is good at lying when the situation calls for it. He has found it rather useful when having to be undercover. Thanks to being stranded in the world of humans, Cain on some occasions feel lonely and misses his home. Cain is loyal to friends and allies, but once his friendship is lost it is lost forever and he never forgets treacherous acts.

Coat of Protection: He has a trench coast that is enchanted with magical wards that offers defense against powerful attacks. The wards are strong to block gunfire from lessor firearms like pistols as well as explosions from grenades, but it won't stand up high powered weaponry.
Boots of Agility: These boots allow Cain to move at an incredible pace and grants him great agility and the ability to perform great feats of acrobatics.
Belt of Storing: This belt magically shrinks items attached to it to a tiny size that allows them to be stored without Cain becoming encumbered by his equipment.
Watch of Knowledge: This watch is like a magical powered smartwatch with a vast knowledge of information that rivals a supercomputer.
Planeshifting Ring: This ring allows Cain to teleport long distances for the purpose of travel. It can't however be used in combat do to it needing almost sixty seconds to pinpoint a place to teleport the wearer to.
Disguise Ring: The ring creates a magical illusion that fools all five of the senses and disguises Cain. He uses this ring to change his appearance to avoid being recognized when he desires to be unseen.
Skills: vast knowledge of magic. Inventor. Artificer extraordinaire. Good detective skills and quick thinker.
