WICKED FLAME

Wicked heard Michael's heart beating as she lay in the crook of his arm. She closed her eyes and remembered another time, another team and another superhero. She smiled and opened her eyes. Climbing out of bed she grabbed her clothes and started getting dressed. She felt his eyes on her and she turned around. "I should go and check on Tia and the others that were injured." It was getting noisy in the main area of the HQ. Wicked pulled back the curtain a moment and saw what looked like a pool party in it's beginning stages. She grinned and said. "Looks like the others are getting ready to have a pool party." She turned around and climbed back onto the bed and kissed him. "Do you want to join them?"@funnyguy

Tia and Grant had been talking about random things for a couple of hours. They heard the party stirring to life and Tia asked him. "Do you feel like joining them in the pool?" She felt like she and Grant were getting close fast and she didn't want to let go of that. She was enjoying it immensely. @Blop

Sara saw the snake and stepped back as the construct jumped into the fray. The contruct had the snake as it moved about and Sara saw her chance. She grabbed the huge chunks of concrete and lunged to the ground and started bashing it til it stopped moving. The construct moved away from it and appeared to be fine.

She jumped up and stepped around the snake in case it was only knocked out. She got to Jason and looked at his wound. Grabbing her bag she searched for the antiseptic and healing salve and put it on him before he could say anything. Then she gave him a hand up. "Ok, I guess I'm good under pressure too."

Mia opted for the seat and asked him "Could you go tell the counselors and get me some ice packs for my ankle." She softly kissed his cheek before unwrapping her arms from around his neck. "Thank you." Mia's eyes were still a little red.

Sara heard Jason fall and she stepped up her pace. "Jason?" She rounded the corner to see a husk attack Jason. She looked around herself and grabbed a couple of the larger chunks of rock from the debris. When she got back it was just in time to see Jason cast a spell forkilling the thing. She waited to see if it would work.

Mia nodded, "I would like that." She wiped her tears before they ran down her face. She stood up straight so he could pick her up. "Zwei, thank you." She said. When he picked her up she wrapped her arms around his neck and laid her head on his shoulder.

For once in Mia's life people were being nice to her and weren't asking for anything in return. She didn't know what to do with that. They had all wanted something in the past.
