Matthew Hyatt

My Hider

Matthew was on the docks helping his friend pull his boat in when they heard terrible screams and loud crashes. Matthew jerked his head up and his eyes scanned the area til he pinpointed the person screaming. It was a woman who appeared to have just been bitten by an odd looking man. Matthew's buddy decided to take a look and see if he could help. Matthew nodded and continued with getting the boat out of the water and tied down to the trailer. His friend Nolan was calming the woman down when he noticed that she fell slowly to the ground. He started to perform CPR on her and Matthew started heading up there to help.

"What the hell is going on up here?"

"No idea." Nolan said and the woman's eyes opened and she opened her mouth and raised up biting Nolan on the arm. She tore into him like a starved person all the while making this hideous gurgling noise. Nolan's screams were instant and he reacted by hitting her hard across the bridge of her nose. It didn't seem to phase her at all and she kept coming back for more.

Matthew pulled the knife he used for scaling fish out and stabbed her in the head with it. Only then did she stay dead. Nolan and Matt looked down the street and there were so many just like that woman. One minute they were fine and the next they were zombies. Matt looked at Nolan and he looked at Matt scared out of his mind.

"Nolan, you are going to be okay man. We are going to the hospital right now."

Nolan visibly upset told him, "Nah man you saw how fast she turned. I'm a gonner. I'll be like that in just a few minutes. Do me a favor? Tell Nikki to behave and tell her I love her too." Nolan pulled a gun out of the back of his pants and handed it to Matt.

"Don't let me turn into one of those. You saw that it took getting her in the head so shoot me as soon as I die." Matt nodded but he felt sick. In just a couple of minutes Nolan's eyes closed and Matt stabbed him in the back of the head to make sure he didn't turn. He looked up and the walkers had multiplied and many were headed towards Matt.

Matt got up and ran back to the truck. His phone rang, it was Nikki. He spoke with her a moment only and then he floored the truck on the way to the high school. He called Kat. She didn't pick up so he left her a message telling her to meet him and Nikki at the high school.

Tia and Miles

Tia had purposely worn regular clothing. She was in black leather and her green hair had been cut recently so instead of hanging to below her butt it was a little past her shoulders. She looked at Tito who seemed to be a bit standoffish. She stepped forward with her hand out to shake his hand.

Tito just stood there for a moment looking at her hand and then back up to her eyes. Miles spoke up "Tia...he's not very trusting of others. Don't feel offended if he don't shake hands."

Tito, with a jaded look on his face, looked at Miles and then back at Tia "So what's your story? you sure you're ready for what we're about to get involved with?" Miles was hoping that Tia didn't tell him that she is part of the Conspiracy but he was prepared just in case he did find out.

Tia got the distinct feeling that Tito would flip if he knew she was from Conspiracy so she just said, "Miles said I might be able to help so I came along. The missing stuff was stolen from me. That being said what are we up against?"

Tito look at her for a moment before answering but then started speaking "Well this guy....that calls himself 'The Giver'....he has a drug operation in an old warehouse in the biker gang's territory. From what I heard, Giver have 4 main guys he bestows power on personally. the drug that grants power, goes to people who can buy it and well...it's a temporary effect that lasts for about 2-3 hours....so...of coarse, the buyers work with Giver. We can find Giver in French Town...on Holton street. That's where his main operation is at."

Miles nodded "Alright so we have 4 main guys who have power thatnks to the Giver and several customers/ subordinates who buy their powers from him...I'm assuming it's difficult to tell how many works for him?" Tito nodded. "Yeah....and I got your message as to his real name and power so...I guess all we need to do is bring him down." Tito said

Tia nods," it always sounds easier than it is. What do we know about where he is? How many are on the property? Are we going in prepared to fight guns blazing so to speak? If it's not too bad and I have enough information Miles and I can go in on our own."

"He have a few guards with guns and a pill that they can use to gain enhanced abilities just in case they're dealing with someone they can't handle in normal conditions. I'd say about 4 men who are outside and 2 on the roof. the inside, there are a few more guards. But....instead of fighting, I was looking to come in and try to handle things peacefully. No need for unnecessary fighting. Now...if need be...you can go in. I can stay outside just in case and of coarse, Miles can use his ability to look through the rooms if just in case, he has your stuff. Plus....he can make you two invisible....what can you do?" he asked Tia

Tia smiled and picked up a stick and froze it in mid air. After that she looked at it and flicked her hand and the stick blew up. Then she phased and walked through Tito and last she took the knife out of his back pocket and sliced her own throat in front of him and it healed immediately.

"Think I can help now?"

Willa reacts instantly and the quiet soldier lands on her back but instead of knocking her to the ground she spins while grabbing his arm and whips him across the room. Super strength in small sized people is often surprising. Willa acts winded trying to calm the situation. "Six brothers an ya think ya can lick me eh? You'll fine it's na so easy to pick on a Irish lady." She glared at them and concentrated on their guns. She was ready if she had to be.

Willa tossed her coat to Paon and called out to him. "P, put me coat on so as to keep other idjots from making the same mistake as these here." She turned back to them and glared at them. Her heart was beating so fast she was worried about them figuring out what she was. Her next thought disabled their guns and any tazers they might have. These items would be rendered useless.
