Cambria looked at the box that Miles had pulled out of his pocket. The shock on her face was obvious. She slowly opened it and she caught her breath. "Oh Miles, it's beautiful." She had trouble containing her tears again as she grabbed him in a tight hug. "I love you so much but I swear if you bought this because I'm pregnant I'll hurt you." She said laughing as tears rolled down her face.

Enyo tracked this guy all the way to Europe. He was using an ICE power that was slowing her speed down. Who is this guy? She thought. He must have some kind of mind shield to keep her attacks from dropping him to the ground. He disappeared around a corner and as she took the corner HE and two other icers hit Enyo with enough ICE to freeze her to ice cube status. Enyo's vitals dropped immediately sounding the sirens throughout the HQ.They leveled out at a dangerous level. Only her godpowers were keeping her alive now and only just barely.

Matt looked at Kat and he hugged her tightly. "I know it's real." He opened the door to their room and he put Grace down on the bed, she had fallen asleep as they had walked up the stairs. Taking Kat by the shoulders and turning her to look at him she pulled a small box out of his pocket. He looked at her and for the first time he was worried she would break his heart for a split second. That feeling disappeared almost immediately.

"I bought this for you about three weeks after Grace was born." He opened it and slid the beautiful ring onto her left hand.

"I'm not sure how people get married in the new world. If it's like the captain of the ship I think Nikki would be good enough to marry us." He looked at Kat's face and kissed her jawline to her mouth in the most sensual way possible.

"You are the only woman for me and I'll wait if you want me to but you are not going to push me away. If you really don't love me that's one thing but I'll not allow you to push me away because you think badly of yourself."

Matt got down on one knee and asked her "Kat, will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?"

Nikki looked at Erin like she was out of her mind. "Like hell you are leaving here alone to go get supplies. Even I don't go alone." She looked at Alex and said "This guy is new here but I think he can manage to help you not get killed. And I need you upstairs. If everyone downstairs can fight and no one upstairs can then we leave them unprotected. I need you to help with security upstairs. Let the guys handle the downstairs. if they get past the guys we need you to keep the ones who need the protecting like the kids and babies safe. We have some tough women here but they need to stick together and I can't have you all over the building. I am the only female on the first floor and you know why that is. This is not up for debate Erin."

Nikki nodded to Alex. "You stick to her like glue got it?" Nikki walked back downstairs. She didn't pay much attention to what Chris was doing looking around. She knew he would behave himself, he had seen the bodies outside.

@alexfangtalon Yes but she considered him a kid/young man and put him with his siblings unless he tells her he wants to be downstairs with the other fighters.
