Enyo stopped and looked at him. "You were sparring with Cupid? And exploded him out of an illusion?" Enyo turned grabbing his hand and speeding him into the HQ with her. Barelling through to Cupid's room she took his vitals. "Shiver! Get your mom back here NOW! There might be a big problem with Cupid!"

Shiver focused and tried to use the Angel communications Network to call her mom. MOM! Emergency need you now! "Enyo I tried but I'm weak and she is really far away, like on another planet kind of far away."

Enyo didn't realize she was still holding Kyle's hand. She said "Well, let's see if I can do this or not." She put her hand on Cupid's head and used her Metal blast powers to see if all was working inside his mind or not. "Sometimes I can see inside someone's mind when I hit them with a hard blast but I'm not seeing anything. I'm also not hitting him with anything."

Enyo looked at him laying there and she decided there was another technique she hadn't tried yet. She got down on her knee close to his head and yelled "CUPID WAKE UP!"

Enyo raised her brow at him with a smirk. "What are you going on about? Did you want to start training now? I can't sleep so I've been throwing some weights around." She pointed to the giant concrete and rubber weights that were taller than he was.

"Shiver is in the office so I came out here. When she calls I gotta go though. So what do you need help with?"

Enyo hit her comlink and said "Hey Kyle. You still awake? I'm going to be at the outside training area if you want a lesson now." Enyo walked over to the weights and picked up a 2000lb weight and swung it and tossed it like a ragdoll. She continued doing this till all 10 of them were at the other end of the field.

Matt went back into the medical room to see Erin frowning. "Okay Erin you have two choices. You can come here three times a day and take your meds or you can be tied to the bed and only allowed up to use the bathroom. You are barred from leaving the school for any reason at all until you are completely well from this injury got it?"

Matt knew she wasn't going to like it and so he sat her up and gave her the two pills and a glass of water. "Take it right now and show me your tongue." She did but she wasn't happy about it. "Haru, you need to stay with her unless one of you are in the shower or the bathroom. I don't want her arm unsplinted. I know it can be itchy so here." He pulled out a small plastic stick. "I would suggest she eat now. Some of the meds can be hard on your stomach." Matt untied her from the bed and let her go under Haru's supervision. "Haru? Come here a minute." Matt watched Erin as she waited. "Let me know if she has type of allergic reactions or if over the next few days if she has any side effects." Matt watched him nod and walk away.

Shiver

Shiver woke up and realized she was all alone. For a moment she was scared and then she decided to go up to the office and make sure that everything was ok. She ran a brush through her hair and grabbed the bathrobe off of the bathroom door. She didn't want to get caught running around in her pj's if she could help it. She still felt so weak. Shiver looked outside an it was still dark. She got halfway to the office and decided to get a soda from the kitchen. She heard a noise and it made her stop. She was a little jumpy and realized it was just the pool filter kicking on.

She saw someone on the ground up ahead. Shiver picked up her pace a little. "Cupid? Are you okay?" She got down on her knees carefully and checked his pulse. He was alive just weakened and he apparently passed out. Her comlink had been broken so she picked up his arm and said "Enyo? Cupid is on the floor in the main hallway. Can you come here?" Shiver was shaking again. She was amazed that someone could hurt so much from shaking so hard.

Enyo cut her workout short and zipped over the railing and landed just a couple of feet from Shiver. Shiver jumped and fell over. "Oh sorry Shiv. Why are you out here and is he okay?" "I can't sleep. I need to do something. All I see is..." Shiver wrapped her arms around herself. "I think he is just passed out. I have no idea what happened to him."

Enyo bent down to check on Cupid. She picked him up and carried him to his room. She laid him on his bed and covered him up. From what she could devise he just needed to sleep so he could recharge. "I'll check on him in a bit but he seems to just be sleeping off over exertion of some sort." Shiver nodded and walked with her. Enyo slowed down to match her pace. It was obvious to Enyo that Shiver was in pain as she walked to the office. "Don't stay in here too long ok? Call me when you are done and I'll run you back. I know you are in pain." Shiver nodded and looked at her desk. "What happened to my desk?" Enyo blushed. "I kinda hit it?" Shiver chuckled softly.

Shiver sat down at her mother's desk and grabbed a comlink. Enyo left the room. Shiver looked around and put her head on the desk on her arms for a few minutes.

Enyo woke up a couple of hours later. She looked around her and wondered how she had gotten into her bedroom. She looked next to her to see Shiver moving around in her sleep and breathing hard. She was obviously reliving the ordeal in her dreamstate. Shiver woke up screaming. Enyo grabbed at her and she fought back until she realized who it was. Enyo held her and decided she would have to wait til Shiver could be left alone. Enyo was cursing letting Wicked leave without a way for Enyo to reach her. It just never occurred to her that something like this would happen to Shiver.

Enyo sat there stroking Shiver's hair. "Are you going to tell my mother about this?" Enyo smirked to herself. "I think when she gets back you should let her heal you so, yeah. I think it's a good idea." Shiver frowned. "She is going to think I can't do anything without all kinds of drama." Enyo laughed. "Shiv drama follows you around like a magnet. Why didn't you tell me you were going to look for Rey? I would have gone with you and this could all have been avoided." Shiver sniffled. "Because I was closer to drunk and thought I would be gone and back in just a minute. I totally forgot that I was in my bikini and didn't realize that being tipsey drunk would be something that would get me attacked. HOW the hell did a regular human get an anti-meta bracelet?" Shiver was getting mad. "I remember seeing it as he slammed it onto my wrist and freaking out immediately. One thing is for certain, I didn't go quietly and he has a lot of bruises and at least one really good bite on his arm." Shiver scooted down in the bed and closed her eyes.

Enyo looked at Shiver and saw the bruises turning colors on her skin and the fat lip where it had busted open from a hard punch. The black eye was turning darker and the bruising on her cheek. Enyo waited til Shiver was sleeping and then she snuck out of the room. She went up to the training room and began a rigorous workout that would wear out a god.
