"Kyle! I need you and Eden to help me cover these schools. You guys start on the outter schools and meet me in the middle!" Shiver said running down the halls of the school checking classrooms and furnace rooms and closets. There was a lot of stuff to check in a school.

Shiver opened the furnace door and gasped. "Guys I have something here at the elementary school. It's not the highest tech bomb but the dynamite is a big clue that it is going to go off."

Nikki grabbed her trenchcoat and one of the six packs of beer she had snatched on one of her last supply runs. "I'll be in the Monster if you need me." "Okay Nikki" Jenna said. Nikki liked coming out to watch the sunset in the evenings. She climbed into her monster truck and got all nice and comfy and popped the top on her beer bottle and leaned it back taking a good drink of it.

"Guards check in" Nikki said over the walkie. There was an order and they knew what way to do. She had started this after Vincent left the last time. She just didn't trust him not to do something. Erin and Haru were still here. Raven had taken off with Vincent. Nikki just couldn't get the total coldness in his eyes out of her mind. She wasn't scared of him...exactly. He made her nervous. She listened as they began their nightly routine. At the end Nikki didn't hear Marcus and asked if the nearest could see him. Maybe there was something wrong with the Walkie. "Nikki it looks like something is wrong with him." "I'm on my way! Don't leave your posts!" She grabbed her sword and jumped over the side of the raised truck and opened the door running through the kitchen nearly giving Jenna a fit. She ran through part of the cafeteria down the main hallway and out the back door. Marcus was at the farthest section. Matt ran after her, crowbar and walkie in hand.

When they got to Marcus' section which was all the way across the football field and then some Nikki stopped and Matt killed the walker that was eating Marcus. It had apparently gotten him when he stepped up to the fence to pee. It had been able to pull him close enough and bite him through the fence. "Guys...Marcus is dead. Don't go near the fences especially to pee. They pulled him through the fence and started eating him. Matt needs help with Marcus, James can you come out here please?"

Nikki passed James on her way back and he gave her a wide birth. Nikki happened to see Kyle in the hallway. "Hey New guy....Kyle. Come with me."

"Nikki. We have a situation here. Someone, we have no idea who, just drove up and dropped a bag off. What do you want us to do?"

"Son of a bitch. I'm on my way!" she answered. "Come on Kyle!" She headed out the front door and waited for him to catch up. She ran over to the bag. It was the size of a body and when she opened the bag the stench was enough to knock you out. Nikki covered her face and looked inside. She dropped to her knees and picked up the note.

You killed our Patriarch. So, we have decided to get a little payback. We have some of your friends. If you want to see them again come to the courthouse with your leader, the one who killed our Patriarch, and up to three more people. We will know when you get there. See you then.

Nikki stood up. "Matt drop what you are doing and get out front now!" "What happened?" "They killed Chris. They also have others of our people from the school." "I'm on my way." "Jenna! Get everyone in the cafeteria and figure out who is missing." "Right away Nikki."

After a few minutes Jenna called out "Robert, Camylia, Alex, Chris and Roger" "WTF! I told Camy NO! Now she has Robert in danger too!"

Shiver was in the war room looking at the map of the city. She was looking for possible places that one might hide 5 bombs if they wanted to terrorize the city. She had been pacing and she got the one Enyo found marked off. 4 left, where are you?

"Guys check at the electrical grid and the city's water supply." Shiver said over the comlinks. "Look for the obvious in the center of town. I would imagine that would be a target because of the traffic there. Look for anything big going on there today."

She paced back and forth and wrote on a dry erase board.
Bridge-done......hmm what else would bring the city to it's knees...not food, too many stores ....water....plumbing...oh the sewer system? Gross but that would be effective.

"Check the sewer in the heart of the city." "I think Velocity should take that one!" Enyo said chuckling.

Shiver thought to herself what do people care about....OH God. "Enyo! Start checking schools and that new amusement park."

Shiver teleported to the closest schools to the center of town and started there going outwards.

Shiver asked "Has anyone seen Cal? We could really use him right now!"

"I broke your door, Maintenance will fix it. I'd love to go on a mission together." She raised her brow and smirked at him. "Baby you can't let him get to you." She kissed the back of his neck then he turned looking a little hungry "Oh did you want your shirt back?" Eden smiled innocently. She jumped up onto the bed and watched Kyle climb up after her. Clothes went flying and giggling was heard.

"Felicity...I've got one under the Golden Gate bridge get the Bomb Squad ready. I'm bringing it in now." Felicity typed into her keyboard and received a message back. "They are ready." Enyo took the bomb to them and went back out to look for more.

"Yeah Tito there are supposedly 4 or 5 that we need to find in a hurry. Velocity is already in the city If you want to check down by the square and start there. I figure they are going to be in places to bring the city to it's knees."

Nikki came back in after walking the perimeter and clearing out Walkers. She walked inside went to her room hung up her coat and sword took off her boots and slipped on her tennis shoes. Pulling her hair back she walked to the gym. No one was in there so she turned the music on and began to dance. The music was sensual so she danced that way. Her eyes were closed as they often were when she danced. A door opened and someone snuck in quietly. She was focused and didn't hear anything but the music as it took her back to better days.

A few tears slipped down as she remembered her mother dancing with her when she was much younger. The next song had a more upbeat rhythm and she picked up her dance and she kicked someone. Opening her eyes she saw James on the ground and she got down to check on where she got him. "What were you doing so close? You knew my eyes were closed." Nikki backed up a little as James smiled and pulled her over and flipped so that he was on top of her. "Come on Nikki, why won't you be my girl?" He weighed more than she did by a lot but James was quite muscular. "Because of things like this!" Nikki said realizing he had her pinned pretty good since he was holding her arms down and she literally couldn't move. "James, let me up right now." "I want a kiss first." When he leaned forwards to kiss her she raised her legs and pushed him off balance so that it allowed her a little room to move her arm and she shoved as hard as she could pushing him away. "I've tried to be nice about it but you aren't taking the hint."

She got to her feet and tried walking away but he put his hand on her shoulder to pull her back. Nikki responded with a palm to his nose and then a right cross and a left front kick that put him on his ass. "You broke my nose!" "Yeah? You are lucky that's all I did." Nikki walked out of the gym and told Matt what happened. After Matt made sure she was alright she went to change back into her normal clothes.

Matt opened the door to the gym and grinned hugely. "So you got too pushy and she kicked your ass." Matt looked at his face. "Ya know how the girls said that you were handsome?" James nodded, "Yeah" Matt grinned "They won't be saying that anymore. Dude she fucked you up and didn't even break a sweat." He grabbed him up and practically dragged him to the medical room right in front of Haru, Clara and Kyle. Matt saw them in the hall he laughed and pointed to James who was still not right on his own feet. "See kids this is what happens when you get pushy with Nikki. Right dumbass?" He said nudging James. "Shut the fuck up Matt!" Matt took him into medical to fix his nose.

Eden stepped up. "You are not leaving, after all that I went through to get back here. If you go I go with you." Eden took Kyle's hand firmly in hers and gave him a 'dont you dare argue with me look.' "I wouldn't have attacked Cupid if he hadn't have throat punched Kyle while he was fighting Donovan. Up til that point it was just the two of them."

Shiver happened to come down the stairs and see everyone flipping out all in a huff. Shiver had run past them earlier when the sirens had gone off. "What started it? Ok here is what I saw. Naked Kyle and Shadows fighting. That tells me that Donovan started it.

Shiver took Donovan's hand and led him away about ten feet to talk privately. "I agree with Miles. You need more training so that you will not have to relive your past every time someone sees you. Do me a favor? Come back stronger inside here." She pointed to his chest. Then she hugged him tightly and kissed his cheek. "I'll see you soon." She said and nodded at Miles and walked away.
