Kyle had been trying to meditate when Eden appeared. Kyle tried to bring out his usual charm, to no avail. Eden was furious with him and he couldnt figure out why. He finally got Eden to admit that she was upset because he was with Alexandra. She didnt like the fact that he was with another women, the same women he was in a compromising situation with earlier. Kyle did his best to try to explain how she was a lesbian, and he was trying to help her control her power.
Eden had the worst time understanding why he was hanging out with this girl all of a sudden. What was so interesting about her that he would ignore her phone call. She had told him that too. Eden had started to let him off the hook then changed her mind. "Kyle, I refuse to share some things in life and one of them is my boyfriend. You need to figure out what you want."
Eden had smiled when he pulled her to him and kissed her and swore he only wanted her.
3 hours later
Kyle smiled and laughed, Eden arm in arm with him, as they walked down the street in the city. They were at the night festival his contact had drummed together. Thank God he could count on Cupid to deliever the message. His Underworld contact took longer, much longer, than he thought it would take to set this up but that just made it som much grander. There was lights streaming from lamp posts and street lights, Music being played around every corner, people were walking around going from stall to stall playing games and buying things. Kyle and Eden had walked all the way over to the giant fountain he had his contact place, where a game of chance was being played. People would flip coins into the water, and if it landed on heads you would get one wish granted, If you lose nothing happens. Of course wishes werent granted but it was still a fun little competition. Kyle brought out a coin and handed it to Eden, telling her to give it a go. Eden was confused by this but did it anyways. Her coin landed on tails. Kyle laughed and Eden playfully hit him on the shoulder. Kyle unlatched himself from Eden and tried it himself with another coin. This time his coin landed on heads in the fountain. Kyle smiled and turned to Eden. He then got on one knee and brought out a tiny red box.
"My only wish.....is for you to say yes."
Kyle opened the box and showed the ruby red ring.
"Will you marry me?"
Eden was a little confused and completely shocked. She stared at him and when she realized what he had asked her she nodded and replied "Yes!"
"Yes, I love you." She let him put the ring on her finger and then she put her hand on his chest and stopped him from kissing her just yet.
"I'm not sharing you with anyone but our children."
Andi and CC were meandering around the festival, just breathing in the smells of night life, music and good cheer. Andi occaisonally thought he could smell mint and basil, reminding him of Ashli. How was his little brother doing? he wondered. Then smirked. He's probably glued to his computer, mixing soundtracks together for the demos he and his new band are creating, he thought, proud of his little bro. When he noticed a fountain where people were tossing coins and making the lifelong tradition of making wishes into a game, he dragged CC over to it.
CC smiled at his younger friend with affection. Andi might be tough as hell and a bit of a hellraiser, but he could still be very childish. Well, he was only twenty-two. Barely legal enough to drink.
"CC, look. Future Mr. and Ms.," he pointed to where a happy couple stood, aching as his ear caught on the word "Children." CC touched Andi's shoulder.
That will be you, someday, he promised him, knowing how Andi felt about parents. CC preferred to speak telepathically, not being a very vocal person. Andi took a coin out of his pocket and flipped it into the fountain, eyes closed as he made his wish. Then he opened them without looking at the result, and dragged CC over to a shooting game.
But CC had seen the coin fall heads up.
Kyle nearly wooped out in joy. Eden had said yes! Kyle went in to kiss Eden but was stopped right before. Kyles listened to what Eden said, and Kyle couldnt help but feel she was being overly protective.
"Little Flower, I love you. I promise you will be the only woman in my eyes. I swear, come hell, my brother, or a sexy parade of strippers, You will be the only woman in my life."
Kyle laughed at his own jokes then grew serious.
"Wait.....children? Are you....you saying you're......pregnant?"
Kyle gulped dramatically trying not to laugh.
Eden laughed at him. "Definitely not!" Eden let Kyle spin her around and kiss her before he put her down. "Let's go home." Eden said giving Kyle a come hither look. When they got back to the HQ in her room. She showed him exactly how much he would love having her as a wife.
