Nora was very subdued and calm. She knew if she allowed the tiniest flicker of emotion show through at any point that Vladimir would kill Rick and possibly her as well. She couldn't allow that. It was the entire reason that she had gone back to him in the first place. If Vlad had shown up on his own and seen Rick he would have killed him instantly and Nora would never have gotten over it. Now she had to test her acting skills and right now she didn't feel anything but nauseated. Nora looked immediately to Piper. Piper raised a glass of blood as Barkley handed them out to those who were thirsty.

Maggie was on stage with her band Skyward Bound. She was doing a sound check at the Pink Polka Dot. When Maggie saw a half naked girl come out of the back she nearly had an apoplectic fit! Eve chuckled. "Come on Maggie you already tried to get out of it. You have to, it's in your contract." Eve gave her a knowing look. "Believe me, If I could I'd get out of here too. Bills though. And since I joined up in the army things have gotten....a little dicy."

"Yeah well I guess we could steal the show off of the naked chicks." Eve grinned. "You can sure as hell try."

"Isn't your boyfriend coming to pick you up?" Maggie asked. Eve laughed out loud. "Oh that's funny...Like I'd invite him in to look at my naked coworkers. I will go to him that is quite alright."

"Yeah, good point." Maggie looked over at her band mates and pointed to the drummer who started the count....3, 2, 1 Maggie's band sounded fantastic and the bar had actually agreed to close down the nudity and opened up fully family friendly for the weekend. Maggie made them because they tricked her into signing the contract with information withheld.

Maggie took center stage and played the hell out of her guitar. She lifted a little girl into the air and put her on the end so she could see better using nothing more than her tk. After doing a set with the band she took off her guitar and came to the edge of the stage to visit with the little girl and Eve.

My post stated that the car is sitting outside the manor with the three resting vampires. Piper came in to warn them because she can walk in the sun and the other three are right outside the door. Ben couldn't have run out and seen them coming down the driveway.

Nikki Hishamie

Nikki was having a hard time with all of her restrictions. This was going to be a long pregnancy. What was worse was Kyle, Kat, Ingrid and Jon and all of the other people who knew she was pregnant giving her these disapproving looks as if she wasn't thinking of the baby. Nikki went to the library and pulled some books on pregnancy and she pulled one that had information about miscarriages and pregnancy afterwards. She found that she had to be careful but not bedridden. She carried the book everywhere and showed those who gave her looks. She figured if she soothed their minds they would stop irritating her.

Nikki also found something else a little annoying. She loved her friend but she couldn't shake Ingrid for anything. She was literally Kyle's dream come true for a bodyguard. The only time she left Nikki's side was when Kyle came back to their room for bed. She also updated him periodically throughout the day. Jon decided to have lunch with the girls daily so he could see his girlfriend. Nikki decided to be a little annoying right back at him. She smiled innocently enough and asked Jon at lunch. "So Jon, I know you guys have only recently become an item but when are you going to make an honest woman out of her and marry Ingrid?" Nikki saw the expression on Jon's face and Ingrid started choking and had to be hit on the back a couple of times. Nikki enjoyed that immensely.

"Yes but that's not the point. He wants to kill you! You have to make him think that you and Nora don't have feelings for each other! Rick! I'm serious, he will kill you both!" She grabbed his arm. "He will kill Nora if you show that you have feelings for her other than just sex. If she shows you anything remotely close to love he will kill her." Piper looked him in the eye. "I'm serious Rick. He is over 700 years old there is no way you could beat him. They'll be in here as soon as the sun goes down in about 15 minutes. So get yourself together, get dressed and downstairs. Ben! we have company!"

Piper went downstairs and waited. She told Barkley to bring in 6 glasses of blood. She took one and started to sip it. She was sitting in the parlor in the rocking chair when Dracula, Nora and Grant appeared in the doorway. "Glad to see you all awoke from your slumber. I let Barkley know you were coming in shortly so he could prepare drinks." Piper smiled innocently as she sipped her drink. Piper gave Grant a don't fuck with me look.
