Piper Lance

Piper felt his presence before he spoke. "You owe me an explanation. How is it you have more than one master? Besides Dracula who are you working for? Who is your maker because THAT is the only person besides me that you should answer to."

She started to put clothing on, panties first then her bra went on. She was intensely aware that he was watching her get dressed. "What plan and are you intending to tell me about it and why should I celebrate when I don't know what we are celebrating?" As a t-shirt went over her head she felt his arms wrapping around her waist. She gave him a irritated glare. "How is it that there is so much you know about me and I still feel like I don't know you." She wiggled her way loose of him and she sat down in a chair and crossed her legs. "Nope, you are not getting so much as a kiss til I know what is going on."

Piper looked at him and picked up a book and started reading.

Maggie Mayes & Josh Hishamie

(TIME SKIP: THREE DAYS MONDAY 1:00 PM)

Josh was leaning against the Pink Polka Dot, waiting for Maggie. After the whole fiasco a few days ago, and between his parents trying to get them home, he had not been able to follow through on his request to hang out with Maggie soon. Allistair had decided not to go on his mission, since Eve was recovering which had pissed off his superiors until Josh's dad had volunteered to take his place. So with his father gone all weekend, Eden had recruited Josh in her experiments to get them home. Every spell, every concoction, everything Eden could think of failed. Josh did not know much about this sorta thing so he was mainly used as an errand boy, picking up supplies and assisting his mother whenever she asked. But after all weekend and his father returning, Josh got the day off. He had immediately got dressed in a decent shirt and pants that he had received from Allistair, who had bought them all new clothes. Josh knew Maggie was suppose to come to work sometime around now, so he knew this was the best time to catch her.

Maggie had stuck around and helped out with the club. The second in security was also there and now that the cops were done they were working on cleaning up the place. Maggie was unsure of what was going to happen. The owner's wife had died and he was talking about selling the club. Maggie had some cash put away and was wondering if she should talk to him about buying it. She was almost to the club when she saw Josh up ahead. She had been impressed with him the other day. She waved when he saw her.

Josh smiled and ran his hand through his hair. Josh stood up straight and walked over to Maggie. Everything about Maggie was invigorating, between her slender figure, her dark flowing hair, and her soothing voice. Josh put his hands behind his head.

"Hey Maggie. Was hoping you were working today. Wanted to know if, after work, you wanted to finally hang out?"

"Well I'm not exactly working. We are cleaning up and making repairs since the other day. I'm helping the owner. Let me check in with him and see what needs to be done still. Come on in."

She opened the door and let him in with her and she went to find the owner. She found him in the office trying to pick out burial stuff. She came back in a hurry. "He said we aren't doing anything today. He is making final arrangements for his wife. So I guess I am free. What do you want to do?"

"Well I would love to explore the city a bit. I mean this place is crazy. There are so many ways to get lost. here. I spent an hour yesterday trying to figure out how to get home, when I had only walked about a block away."

Josh smiled and held Maggie's hand. He walked out with Maggie and looked around. They were a couple of different directions they could go, and he took a few seconds to choose. Josh decided, and walked with Maggie towards the area with a lot of street vendors and where people were lounging about.

"Where I am from, we don't have stuff like this. We live on the surface, and while there are a ton of people there is a lot more open space and renovated buildings."

Maggie smiled a little when he took her hand. She was a little surprised. She figured when he said hang out it was his way of asking for a date. "I have only been topside on rare occasions. Pretty much it's ruined up there and the gods rule and there is always fighting. It's just safer here but that is why I named my band Skyward Bound. I hope one day we can be safe enough to play up there."

Josh nodded. "Well hopefully. My dad seemed to kick the crap out what flashlight God a few days ago, and my mom is just as strong if not a little stronger. Of course my dad would never admit that. You should see them spar, its incredible."

As they walked Josh kept his eyes open and his head on a swivel. Everything about this place was...so different than where he was from. He had no idea how people lived like this for so long.

"Maggie I have heard there are more cities like this, except here things tend to be a little more militaristic. Are you from here?"

"No, I'm from another city about a day's travel away. A lot of the cities are like this if there are a lot of gods around. There are a few that are less protected. So down here is a movie theatre and a diner...any thoughts on what you want to do?"

Josh thought for a moment then looked at Maggie. "Allistair gave me some of this worlds type of money, so why not get some food, then we can go see what kind of trouble we can get into."

Maggie chuckled at that comment. "Of that I have no doubt." As soon as they walked into the diner Maggie was bombarded with fans wanting to get her autograph or take pictures with her. Maggie quickly was pulled away from Josh and was at least three people deep away from him. Maggie shrugged, "I'm sorry! This happens a lot!" she shouted to him.

Josh frowned as he was pulled away and pushed aside. He tried to get back to Maggie, but could not force his way through the crowd. Josh became slightly irritated, and his hand started to slightly static. Josh lightly touched the person in front of him, igniting a slight static discharge and making the person jump. This allowed Josh to walked around the person. Josh did this a few more times until he was able to grab Maggie's hand again.

"Not that I don't love this," Josh said trying not to show how irritated he was, "But we should be somewhere that isn't so...public."

Josh closed his eyes, and raised his hand towards the top of the closest building. His father had given him something from his fathers past a long time ago, but he never used it until now. In his hand was a small disk, filled with his fathers teleporting energy. Josh pressed the button on the disk, and teleported Maggie and himself away, on top of the building. Josh forced Maggie down, and then himself. They stayed like that until the crowd of fans dispersed.

Maggie had rolled onto her back and had lay there talking to him. "Yeah, that happens to me a lot more than most would expect. I heard that I'm some kind of role model and sex symbol?" She laughed. "That is the silliest thing I've ever heard. Role model maybe but the other....no way." She glanced at Josh. "Are they gone yet?"

Josh looked up then back at Maggie, grinning.

"That depends. If you wanted to dive more into that whole bit about being a "sex symbol" thing, then no. If not then yea they left."

Maggie grinned at him, "Did you just ask me if I wanted to have sex?"

Josh gave a dramatic eye roll. "Aboslutley not! I would never dishonor a lady such as yourself in this regard. That is unless, perhaps by chance, that is possible what you wanted me to ask?"

She laughed at his brave and silly dramatics. "I think we'll hold off on that right now. I barely know you." She chuckled and stood up. "Let's see if we can get into the diner now, somewhere in the back room." She took his hand and telekinetically flew them down and opened the back door. They went in and she popped her head into the kitchen. "Hey, we are going into the back room. Send in a waitress."

Josh smiled as Maggie flew them down and led him through the back door. Josh and Maggie both took their seats and waited on a waitress.

"Well little miss popular, I for one am excited to try this worlds food. Wonder if its any different form my worlds food. So do you always get mobbed like that? Havent been in crazy mob like that since My mom and dad took me with them when they went to visit my dads old home town."

The waitress came over and greeted them, handing them menus. Josh looked over the menu, and to his surprise he recognized a few items. Josh ordered a coke and a cheeseburger.

"Glad they still have burgers here ha."

The Army comes for Ranna

Ranna, Zach, Charlotte, Kyle, Niesha, Ailsa

Collaboration with @dabombjk@caits and @dusksong

The wedding was a huge success. The partying lasted all night, and did not completley shut down until the sun came up. Most people were passed out, in each others arms. They were they hardcore partyers who had not made it back to their rooms. The few who had, were up cleaning the remnants of wedding. Kyle was laying nude in his bed with Ranna laying across his chest, covered only by a thin sheet. Both were passed out still, with huge smiles on their faces.

The morning peace was interupted suddenly, when a guard ran through the tribe gates screaming his head off. "ATTACK! WE ARE UNDER ATTACK!"

Suddenly the guard stopped, and an arrow sprouted from his chest. The guard coughed blood and fell to ground. All around people began waking up and in seeing the dead guard they all began to panic. More guards rushed forward to the gates, weapons at the ready. A few guards were sent to the rooms of those with powers to wake them up. (HINT HINT ALL U ROLE PLAYER MOTHA FUCKAS)

Kyle awoke to a guard rushing into his room, slamming the door open. The guard spoke fast. "Sir get up we are under attack."

Ranna lifted her head. "Attack? By who?" She said Scrambling to the side of the bed taking the sheets with her but leaving Kyle partially covered. "We'll be out in a minute, leave!" As soon as the guard left Ranna finished dressing. "KYLE get up the village is under attack." He was starting to rouse when she jumped on the bed and almost him too. "GET UP!!!! WE ARE UNDER ATTACK!"

Ranna ran outside to see the unpowered running for cover. Looking around frantically she spotted Zach and ran towards him. "What the hell is going on?" Ranna asked.

"Well you see it looks like they didn't like the part where you married someone without approval. Mom is here with the army."

"You mean these are OUR people?" Ranna was beside herself but ran to the edge of town and put up the biggest force field she could and it was big. The question was how long could she hold it. She could see most of the army coming down the road. Zach touched her shoulder so she could use energy from him as well.

Ailsa woke up with a jolt when the guards sounded the alarm, disorientated and confused. She quickly realized something was dreadfully wrong when screams started sounding--something much worse than a fire or a doom lab attack.

The door to Ailsa's room burst open to reveal a frightened member of the guard who looked even younger than Ailsa. "There's an attack!" he told her, rushing over and helping her from the bed. For once, Ailsa was thankful that she slept in her day clothes despite how uncomfortable they were. She'd just been too tired at night after all the drinks and small talk. "We need to get you to safety."

"Me?" Ailsa repeated, eyebrows rising. "I think you meant you. Aren't you a little young to be on the guard?"

"Dr. Leisy, I really need to get you to the safehouse. We don't know how powerful the enemy is, and we can't be sure that--"

"Tell you what: take me to Kyle and Ranna," Ailsa told the young guardsman. "Hiding me is a stupid move. No one will need my help after they're dead. I'll be of more use on teh battlefield"

The guard hesitated, but seeing Ailsa's determined look made him change his mind. "All right, follow me," he said, leading the doctor to where Kyle was supposed to meet with the guard captain, Tokola.

Niesha had spent the rest of the night in the library. She didn't particularly feel like sleeping, not after everything. So she started to figure out a way of tracing the books and making sure she knew who borrowed what. The books were valuable, and she didn't want to lose any. So as the new day began, she heard the commotion, and set down the books she had, and went to the door, frowning and looking out.

She hesitated, before heading to where it seemed bad, a dead guard seemed the be a source of commotion, and then...She wasn't too sure what she saw, but it was clear they were about to have a fight on their hands.

There was a small moment of panic, but Niesha took a step forward, and then another. She could help, even if it wasn't much. She could use her abilities, and besides...she couldn't just stand there and do nothing. She scanned the faces, seeing some people going for cover and wondering briefly why. but figured right then it wasn't important right then.

Approaching the edge of town, she stared at the approaching army, and had no idea just what she couild do against that. She stood there, feeling foolish.

Kyle lazily got up, in no manner a correct leader would. Kyle watched as Ranna got dressed and headed out. Kyle got dressed slowly, putting on one boot at a time. He walked out, and as soon as he left his room and then left the main building he was barraged by screaming people and guards asking questions. Kyle let this happen for a few seconds then raised his hands, emitting a flashlight like light that shone birghtly into his peoples faces. They all groaned for a few seconds then became calm.

"Ok ok I heard you. Im going. GUARDS!"
All the guards in the area formed up on Kyle.

"Get everyone to safety except those with powers. That includes yourselves after everyone evacuates."

The guards gave Kyle a puzzling look, but one fierce look into Kyles eyes and they did as they were told. The guards skimirshed around, trying to follow orders. Kyle walked forward and grabbed Tokala, who was with Alexis. "Not you two. You are with me."

Kyle saw Niesha and walked over to her, with his two friends right behind him. "Hey Library book, I need you with me." Kyle patted Niesha on the shoulder.

Niesha looked up as Kyle spoke to her, and said "It's Niesha. What do you need me to do?" She asked, "I could encase a couple of ranks in shadows, i suppose" She said thoughtfully, but waited to see what Kyle wanted.

Kyle smiled at Niesha. "Lets hope I can talk them down with my winning personality first ok?" Kyle winked at looked over at where Ranna and Zach were. He smiled and walked over to them.

"Hey. So we might have a fight on our hands. But lets try not to fight if we can help it."

Kyle walked over to the front of the gates, with his entire group of super powered friends behind him. Kyle spoke loudly to the army. "HEY YO! WHAT UP?"

Ranna glanced over her shoulder at her husband. "It took you long enough. Those are my people. My mother brought the army to get me. What should we do now?"

Zach looked at Kyle and shook his head and kept his hand on Ranna's shoulder.

Kyle smiled. "Well first thing we need to do is get something to eat. I am famished." Kyle chuckled. Kyle winked at Ranna then spoke to everyone. He noticed Ailsa had been brought to them as well. "Ok guys. No one attack yet. I am gonna see if they are mad or something. If they are, and i run back screaming, then attack."

"Are you outta your mind?" Zach said as he glanced at Ranna. "All they would have to do is kill you and take her. You and she can't go out there. I'll go." Zach glanced at Ranna and then at Niesha and walked forward to go.

Kyle held his hand to Zachs chest to prevent him from walking forward. "No deal buddy. Listen I am leader, and leader says stay. I mean it. Besides You have too much to live for right now. A best friend, and....possibly someone else. Yea I saw you two last night ha!"

Kyle gave them a two finger salute, then walked forward. Kyle walked up to the first soldier. "Take me to your leader."

Ranna watched as Kyle walked up to the guard nearest them. She had had to let the forcefield down to let him out. Zach came forward and stood next to her. She took his hand out of habit and bit her lip.

The soldier took him to an upset woman about 15 years older than Ranna. Ranna was the spitting image of her mother. It was nice for him to see what Ranna would likely look like when she got older. Luckily this woman didn't appear hardened by anger or stress ....yet. She looked at him from atop her carriage and said,

"I am here to take my daughter back. Bring your leader to me immediately."

There was a surprising moment of fear when Zack vounteered to go, which quickly turned to a feeling of awkwardness at Kyle's words, and she was sure the blush would take a long time to fade. She watched kyle walk towards the army, knowing she could really say anything that would help, yet maybe she could do something, if it went wrong. She stepped up so she could see better, and reached out to the shadow power within her, ready to give Kyle cover if they attacked him.

Ailsa twisted her fingers together as Kyle walked towards the enemy ranks. It seemed that their side was badly outnumbered, but Kyle still wanted to try his luck with diplomacy. Ailsa envied his optimism. Her past had taught her to never give the enemy a chance to walk away, but she supposed she'd started a new chapter since then. As Kyle's figure disappeared into the enemy ranks, Ailsa caught the look of worry on Ranna's face.

"We'll be there for him, Ranna," Ailsa reassured the girl, looking around at her friends. "We all will."

Kyle sighed mostly to himself. Why did no one ever see him as the leader. Then again he did shout yo waddup to the impending army that would march him to his demise. Can't be helped that his response to serious situations is to laugh. Kyle eyed Ranna's mom entirely, and was not dissapointed. She was stunning, and looked very much like an older Ranna. He was glad that even when they grew older, well right now it is an if, they would be pretty old people. Kyle stood up straight and two finger saluted Ranna's mom.

"Sorry ma'am but the "leader" is me. I get the fact that your here for Ranna, but as her husband," Kyle said waiving his left hand and showing his ring finger, "I will not permit it. Perhaps a lovely fruit basket instead?"

Ranna's mother stared at the young man before her. He was in fairly normal attire. His hair and clothing were completely dishevelled and he was at most 24ish and that might be too old. He was handsome but she needed Ranna to make this match and it was out of her hands.

"The marriage is not legal without my approval and I am taking her home. Guards! Sieze him and bring Ranna here. Tell her I'll have him executed if she doesn't." Ranna's mother hated this but she had no choice.

Kyle allowed the guards to grab his arms. He swiftly and silently swiveled his arms, hitting the guards in the face. Kyle turned, punching the guard on his left, kneeing his stomach, then he grabbed the guard and slammed him into the guard on his right. Then he grabbed the back of the second guards head and slammed it into the first guard he attacked. Kyle ended it by sweeping his leg and tripping both guards down. Kyle faced away from Ranna's mom and shot two light beams at the ground next to the few guards that started to move towards the direction of Ranna. "How about no there guys?"

Kyle turned back to Ranna's mom. "Ok maybe you didnt hear me. But a fruit basket is a lovely compensation prize. If you dont like that maybe we could talk about you going the fuck away. Obsidian is not open to you."

Ranna jumped when they started to attack Kyle and she started yelling when Zach grabbed her and wouldn't let her go out there. "Ranna stay here. I mean it." Zach went out to see if he could calm the waters.

"Lady Charlotte. I am pleased to see you looking well. How may I help you?" He glanced at Kyle and tried not to kill him when he swore when speaking to the queen.

Charlotte looked at Zach and Kyle and asked, "Is this man really my daughter's choice?" Zach nodded smirking slightly at her expression. "Yes ma'am. She is head over heels for him. She is willing to die for him and this village as am I."

Charlotte looked at Zach. "You know why I don't have a choice in this." Zach nodded "I do." Zach looked at Kyle and he walked over to him and said low enough that he would be the only one to hear. "Get ready to run to the city. They are about to attack us."

The queen's carriage stayed behind but the others started towards the city. Zach said "RUN NOW!" and he took off to the city's edge and took a defensive stance. Ranna joined him there.

Kyle watched as Ranna and Zach ran to keep most of the army from invading, and he turned to see the rest of his friends start fighting. Soldiers began attacking his entire group. A few ran towards Kyle, who dispatched them with ease. Kyle turned to Charlotte.

"So...Mother in law...my name is Kyle Hishamie, Leader of Obisidian, husband to Ranna Hishamie. Yea just thought I would introduce myself. Your turn."

Kyle aimed a finger gun at Charlotte, and shot a small light beam at her.

Charlotte stood up and the helpless looking queen dispatched an energy ball at Kyle that would burn the skin off of an elephant. "Bring me my daughter!"

Kyle tuck and rolled under the energy ball, which he could still feel even though it missed. Kyle could tell one hit and he would be out for the count. Kyle created a sword of pure yellow light in his right hand, and raced forward slashing at Charlotte. "Now thats not an introduction Mother! Please be polite!"

Ranna sprung into action and put a Force field around herself that would have looked like a hamster ball and she ran through the battle and towards her mother and husband who were apparently trying to kill each other. She jumped in between them. "STOP!"

Zach was blasting electricity and frying people he used to call friends. When he saw Ranna take off running past him he ran after her.

Charlotte watched her daughter walk right between her and Kyle and both of their attacks failed as they hit the force fields.

For one moment, Niesha thought things would be okay, and then the moment passed. She watched Zach walk out, and wanted to pull him back, but didn't. And then everything seemed to just blow up, as the fighting started. For a moment she was disorientated, soon getting her bearings back. She realised she didn't want to fight, but there wasn't any choice in the matter. She didn't want to hurt anyway, yet it looked like she would have to.

Immediately, she created shadows, using them to both disorientate people and give others a chance to either get away or attack, but when Zach ran into the fray again, after Ranna this time, Niesha found herself following.

Ailsa wasn't sure what to do. She'd never been at the front of the ranks, but instinct took over as the enemy soldiers rushed towards her. Zeroing in on a enemy soldier, Ailsa signalled his brain to feel pain--pure, raw agony. The man collapsed onto the floor with a cry, momentarily overwhelmed by what felt like an inferno burning him.

"I loathe pain," Ailsa mumbled to herself as she caused a few more soldiers to fall. Her fingers tingled with lost energy, reminding her of the days when she used to train until she dropped only to rise again the next day and repeat. Days she had never wanted to think about again.

Ailsa's eyes hardened as she caught the eyes of the enemy soldier in front of her. The man looked more frightened than angry as his allies all collapsed beside him. "But sometimes," Ailsa said, raising a finger to point at the guard, "it's a necessary pain."

@Demonic Angel

No, I just was told we were doing that part next and @Dabombjk said he was waiting for the collab to post for Kyle. I guess it's a miscommunication thing I thought that was the very next thing. Thank you for catching me up on it. I'm not in a huge hurry or anything right now but I don't want to have the rp stop moving either. I'll tell DA that he can post for Kyle before that big battle happens.

@Dabombjk

Read the two posts above this so you are caught up.
@Demonic angel

Where's this Vincent collab? It's taking you guys forever. We need to move faster even if it's done in individual posts.
