If they wont work together on their own how do we make them?
Lol it's a good post but I'm not sure where to go next. Let me know when you get on I'll pop in and out waiting for you. I want to discuss them before I post.
Lol thats ok. Its good to challenge yourself.
@Aquanthe

More like a curse it would seem. Well Elyria has no clue about occult magic but my guess is she can't do much about the side effects of his magic unless it was serious injury to him from it.
@Lord Orgasmo

Lmao and why would he do a thing like that?
@Lich

So does that mean he is covered in scales again?
lol

Elyria

Elyria looked up to see dozens of fish in the air and she ducked and covered her head facing away from them. When they stopped hitting her she looked at Ysran with wide eyes and ran the few steps to where he lay on the ground. "Are you hurt? Is there anything I can do?" She wasn't aware of the give and take effects of occult magic. She wasn't aware that there were side effects to it's use. All that she was aware of was that he was hurt and there were fish flopping all over the place. One of the fish hit her hand and she swatted it away.

She brushed Ysran's hair away from his face to make sure he wasn't covered in scales again.

Elyria

Elyria waited til Alberich was finished and added, "I'll surround the camp with a protection spell that will keep others from seeing or hearing us." She quickly got to walking the perimeter of the camp and chanted an incantation as she went. Anyone inside the perimeter would be invisible as well as inaudible to those outside of it.

As soon as she finished that Elyria began picking up green wood as it would burn the best. A memory made her smile. She remembered doing just this thing a couple of summers ago while out with her father on a hunting trip. Working on the campfire she had found the best spot and surrounded it with larger rocks to keep the wood in the correct place. Her father had teased her because she nearly caused a forest fire when she had learned to start a fire. Finishing the firewood pile she lit it and watched a slow blaze start up.

Seeing happiness in his eyes she kissed him again in hopes that he would reciprocate her feelings. She allowed her thoughts to be known as her hands and body melded to his in a very tender embrace. At the end of the kiss she pulled him to her tent and waited to see what he would say. She hugged him tightly, afraid to look into his eyes and see anything but what she wanted to see. She murmured to him as she braved her own fear and let him see her vulnerability in her eyes.

"Kreneas I-I have feelings for you that I hope you return. Will you stay with me tonight?" She dared.

Alexis

Alexis looked up from her plate and caught his expression and thought a moment before answering him. She smiled politely but the smile never reached her eyes. "Indeed you are correct. Congratulations! My father said you were an intelligent sort." Before she could add anything else she was interrupted by her father's dirty look.

"Settle down young lady." Turning to Elias he said, "Please forgive your cousin. She was not at all happy with getting a new partner, but since Maggie-" Alexis caught the hitch in his voice as he cleared his throat. "Since our other daughter was killed in battle just a couple of months ago it is necessary. I'm not as fast as I used to be and she needs someone she can take to social things to find them too."

Alexis watched as her mother got up with tears in her eyes and left the room quietly. Dropping her head and closing her eyes as the memory painfully battered her heart. The look on her sister's face as she lay dying was already engraved into her memory and it flared up searing another flash of anger. Alexis stood up and excused herself to leave but her father called her back.

That made her look up at him and nod her head slowly. Maggie had used that phrase a million times herself. Alexis' eyes locked on Elias' and she nodded and exhaled deeply, accepting the situation and her new partner.
