@ZapdosThat's pretty interesting. I'm not sure I have the creativity or skill required for that, having RP'd for 15 years. Props to you, Zapdos.

I have a shelf full of mains that have all been in at least 2 different RP universes. And then, because of running so many RPs, I have 2 shelves full of side characters who appear all over the place. Some of my side characters even got promoted to main shelf after a number of cameos and showings in various RPs. My main's sometimes show as side characters too lol. I support recycling!
@ZoolAhh, the conveniences of being a hero in a DnD setting lol. Also Deutsch is the German language. I think you meant Dutch when referring to Fenna who is from the Netherlands. Just a heads up.

@Dark CloudZool's go to character is Tara, the sassy, scrappy peasant girl who absolutely would have tried to dropkick one of those ogres lol powers or not.
I posted again also. Not an update, just a little something from Vadim to keep the flow and to add knowledge about the 'Adventurer Inventory' situation.


It felt to Vadim like his prayers were being answered when the first two adventurers spoke up. He nodded at their words, then looked at one of a soldier named Lewis and gave him the nod of approval to fetch the things that Adam and Fenna were asking for. Lewis had taken soldiers with him to prepare bedrolls and provisions for each adventurer. They made sure to include a compass and a map for Adam.

"You are a noble man," Vadim said to Clive in response to his words. "If there are more like you, where you are from, then those people are fortunate indeed." Vadim felt, when he looked in the eyes of Clive, that this was truly an honest-eyed and simple farm man - just as he had said - and Vadim could relate to a man like that. Perhaps if they'd had more time, he would've come to like him, just as he'd come to respect him now. "But I insist on your reward," he continued assertively. "My people will take refuge in Bridgeton where we will shore up the defenses and weather the storm with strength in numbers. If this silver will help save the world, then it is silver that could not be better off anywhere else but in possession of your party."

When the soldier handed over the adventurers' reward, he chose to hand it over to the closest one to him that had a backpack - MacKensie. Once she put it away in her backpack, she would feel it's weight and bulk magically minimize. This was just one of many gifts from the power of Source Crystal in each adventurers hand - a power that connected them to the very Wellsprings of Existence, where even the laws of time and space were created.

All of the adventurers would be able to carry a considerable amount in their belt satchels and backpacks, weight and bulk minimized in a similar way. There was though, a limit to this power, in it's raw base level. But such enchantments and magic had been researched and developed over the centuries to create expensive Magical Haversacks that a person - adventurer or not - could wear to enjoy seemingly limitless carry weight, provided they had a considerable amount of wealth to purchase one.

Anyway, since Vadim is talking to Adam, I'll do my best to get a post up. There's a lot to cover though so I don't know how long that'll take, but I'll do my best. I have an outline in my head, but I don't know how it'll translate to actual writing.


lmao it was like 4am while I was writing that! I wish I hadn't posted it until I'd gotten some shuteye. I would've changed a lot.




The vines curling up and around the Armoured Ogre took hold, first around one leg, forcing it to halt. Ordinarily the great monster would have enough strength to quickly power out, but it was starting to feel the effects of the sword buried deep in it's shoulder and lung, aswell as the multitude of stab wounds on it's legs courtesy of the townsguard. Then it's second leg was ensnared.

MacKensie's bolts landed next, and the relatively stationary target was easy pickings for the ranger. Bolts thudding in and around the ogres eyes caused it to roar in pain.

The townsguard who'd found themselves under direct command of James earlier had actually chased the Armoured Ogre the whole way across the field, and at this point caught up to the raging beast. They charged in with spears and shouts, driving their weapons into their target. One spear snapped the clasp of the ogres iron chestplate - Zell's sword having severed another - causing the chestplate to fall away and reveal a previous injury on the monster. On it's breast was a horrid mess of scar tissue, an 'X marks the spot' for it's heart, if ever there was one.

Adam's vines crushed it's arms by it's sides as the not-so Armoured Ogre's strength began to fail. More vines cut off it's air supply via strangulation. MacKensie's bolts had blinded it permanently. It was then Joji Yamazaki arrived with such speed, his sword attack landing with such momentum, that the former-hitman's blade sliced right into the scar tissue and pierced the heart of the monster.

The Armoured Ogre was no more. Only held up by the vines that secured it's fate.



On a mangled leg and with it's entrails dangling out of it's body, the Beserker Ogre was simply not fast enough to win the collision with Arthur. It swung it's club at Arthur's head, once in range, but just before it could cave in the Reaver's skull, the ogre's hand let go of it's weapon. The club spun in the air, over Arthur's head, from the momentum. The reason for this was that the anchor's curved spike, covered in frost, hit the Beserker Ogre right in the gut, tearing through it's already open wound and burying itself inside the monster.

The Beserker Ogre stumbled a few more steps as ice began to spread rapidly around the gaping wound, covering a sizable section of it's torso. Anchor still inside the monster, it fell to the ground dead.



James' swift intervention had indeed saved Vadim's life. The Cleric's magic was applied just in the nick of time to slow the blood flow to a stop and the Commander was no longer bleeding out. Though it would be hard to tell with how pale the man was, not to mention the red-soaked bandages that dressed him. The townsguard were still skeptical of their leader's recovery, but one did go over to Zell to check him over.

"He doesn't appear to have any serious injuries," the guardsman told James loudly over the roars of the ogres. "Just a nasty bump on the back of his head." He gave Zell a couple of stiff slaps across the face. "Wake up, adventurer. The battle isn't yet done."



By the time that Fenna and Clive returned to the others, the battle was over and the rest of the skeletons had been chased out of the town. Hommas was safe once again. Vadim was barely conscious but weakly ordered one of his men to help him sit up. "You..." he said, looking at Adam. "Druid... come here."

One of his men echoed the command louder at Adam and beckoned him over.

Vadim still wasn't sure himself that he'd live, and so he pointed at the other adventurers and waved them over before addressing Adam. "That thing you picked up... the heart of the Skeleton Leader..." he wasn't even sure what it was. "The purple light that came from it... caused... the other skeletons to flee..."

The Commander coughed weakly. "Commander, please, rest."

"Quiet... you nitwit..." even in this state, the leader of Hommas could still be obnoxious. "That thing is important... It could... change the war... Please... it must be taken... delivered to the right hands. The entirety... of the free peoples of The Empire... of Mytheria... might rest on the knowledge that that thing might hold."

He gave a command for a soldier to retrieve 1000 silver pieces from the town treasury. This was, perhaps, half the town's wealth and an exorbitant amount, but he had to be sure that the adventurers would be persuaded to do one final task. A task more important than any he'd commissioned in his life.

"We are losing this war... The Witch Queen's Undead Armies have crippled our armies... we haven't won a single battle as of yet... and our dead join her ranks as undead... if nothing changes... she will destroy all life in our world... we cannot win... unless something changes." Slowly but surely, the increased healing speed was taking more of an effect. While he still could not sit up without help, his breathing and speech started to improve. "I don't know how you came to be here... Stone coffins do not simply fall from the sky. That is out of the oridnary, even for your kind. But I am a man of action and so... I hold others to the standards of theirs... and you helped us, at a moments notice, without a second thought. At first I thought that; Perhaps the Quinity had blessed our humble little town with your arrival. But now I see clearly... that the Quinity blessed the world." His pointed finger turned on each of them. "You were destined to be here... To earn a victory where The Witch Queen least expected there to be resistance... arriving so instantly that her scouts could not have calculated such push-back... and now we have this thing... this cube... a key to the secrets that might save us."

The guard came sprinting back, huffing and puffing, carrying the satchel full of jangling coins. Much of the 1000 silver was actually made up of more valuable gold pieces, making it easier to carry.

"1000 silver pieces... It's all yours... just please... take that cube - that thing - to the city of Valhiem. North of here... two days travel if you head off the road and into the wild. I trust in your ability to defend it, should the Witch Queen's forces give chase. But you must be swift. You must leave now. There is no time to spare. Our mages and scientists must see that cube. It must reach Capitol City."

Personality: A proper hard worker who puts her all into her efforts, and even has a dedicated exercise regimen to keep herself regularly fit and healthy that she keeps up with and will continue to keep up with. She is also an intellectual of sorts, even an enjoyer of learning who came to adore learning about history and even wished to become an archaeologist to get hands-on with it, and genuine magic for her will be something just as fascinating to study and look into. When it comes to devouring learning materials and grasping new or advanced subjects as she goes along, her teachers, parents, and even some of her peers have long dubbed her a 'genius' of some kind. This reputation was only bolstered with her possession of a strong photographic memory, able to recall information and facts from a conversation years ago without skipping a beat if asked. One can rely on her to be a brainy sort of person in general, or to retain information incredibly well, and her mental talents in general would even land her in the territory of a rapidly-advancing education from the time of her childhood. Even when speaking to her she seeks to be at least cordial, even if in her own words: "I am no public speaker.". She will talk and engage with others in a general sense as well if approached by others at least, or under certain circumstances will be outright be blunt about wanting to be alone if she wants to be alone.

On the other hand, despite being in possession of a small friend group in her former life as well as enjoying the idea of friendship and trying to make friends at least, in terms of a more intimate relationship she has come to feel very lonely. One desire she holds deep down inside of herself is a desire for romance and a proper companion she can be with and that 'someone' for too. Further, she is not the most social person in the world nor the worst in turn. Is she shy? No. Rather, she saw little use in indulging in anything beyond what she had to in terms of social interaction with others. Yet in truth part of this behavior of 'not being as social' has also been driven by a fear of personal failure and her own sense of self-deprecation. She even beyond these things has a solidly hedonistic aspect to her, seeking out things like pleasurable hot baths and spicy foods and so forth that would give her some kind of pleasure in life, though this is not some overriding or extreme amount of this behavior but rather is simply a 'thing that exist' in regards to herself as far as she's concerned. She enjoys the pleasurable things in life, simple and otherwise, and seeks them where she feels she can but makes do with what she has and can do otherwise (more than a normal person, but not obsessively either). That is unless she is stressed enough and 'needs some breathing room', in which case these hedonistic-type tendencies will intensify some.

Worst of all, however, would be her sense of self-deprecation as it applies to herself. She will never be enough, but she will still try to reach for it. She will never learn or master enough, even though she'll keep working at doing it for her own enjoyment and advancement alike. Nothing will ever be enough from or about her. Even with her excitement and personal eagerness to make her life a better one in a new world, at the same time this still haunts her like a looming specter. In that sense she is not any bit prideful, but is likewise along with this not used to compliments and is even made a little uncomfortable by them in turn.

Brief Backstory: A natural-born genius of a child, and the youngest of three siblings whose father ran a local restaurant and whose mother was a surgeon at the local hospital. From the start she was encouraged by both parents to pursue a great future, pushed through education and even leaping grades as her inborn talents were honed and refined through education and experience. Even several doctors she was brought to confirmed the same thing others were calling her, and she would achieve her first college Master's Degree at the age of fifteen. Tutors, scholarships, everything she could seemingly want was at her fingertips to a certain extent, and she even found some enjoyment of learning and certain hedonistic activities alongside a love of history during the course of her education. She even began to pursue her own desired course of an archaeology degree, which would let her get out into the world to see it and interact with the things she learned of with her own two hands. At the same time, however, this caused conflict with her parents who had heaped a metric ton of their own expectations and ideas for her future upon her. Her mother wanted her to follow her path into the medical field, whilst her father wanted her to follow him into becoming a successful businesswoman of her own one day who could own the restaurant he ran, and this alongside the growing egos of her two parents due to her own rising star of talent would not only worsen the pressures on her but frankly bring the two adults eventually into a bitter legal divorce and fight for custody and management of her before she turned 18. To say her stress levels went off the charts during this time was an understatement.

During this time her maternal uncle, a man who lived by the beach, would take her in to host her far away from the drama as she continued to pursue online classes of her own choice in defiance of both parents. Unlike either of her parents he was relaxed, mellow, and did a lot of work at the marina whilst spending his off days boating/sailing, fishing, or hanging around the beach. He also had the same passion for the very trading card game Lillianna had come to enjoy back at the start of her college days, and she even picked up watching various anime and sailing skills (the uncle was elated) as a pastime as well of her own independent volition. This maternal uncle both supported her and tried to be there for her, rather than push her one direction or another, and her maternal as well as paternal grandparents did send her cards and give her support during the time...albeit from a distance for a number of reasons. She also did, as her uncle did when he was younger, get a job at the marina (furthering the familiarity with sailing at least) and other seaside jobs or temporary summer jobs at the beach in order to help pay for her own things, aka: what little her scholarships did not cover if nothing else. She wanted to 'earn' that money herself, even if her uncle was willing to help, to do something for herself for once that wasn't relying just on her talents alone. Indeed her uncle became her favorite person in due time, and she began to breathe a bit more freely and even as she sought her own degree and future with her own two hands. When she turned 18 years old, she chose to stay with him and kept to it despite attempts to 'bring her back home' after her parents divorced from each other.

Then one day she was working on the beach as a lifeguard on a relatively safe-ish stretch, and some high winds began kick up. Not unusual for the week, but when a family who had just arrived to relax on he beach that day didn't properly secure their large metal beach umbrella it would soon turn fatal. Abnormal big wind gust came along. Someone cried out to her. She turned just as the umbrella went flying and hit her in the head at the right angle at high speeds.

Dead on the spot.

Adventurer Class: Twin Element Mage

Starting Common Gear:

-Proper Mage Clothes/Attire (Made also for flexible and easier traveling in terms of durability and so forth at least. But is definitely not any kind of armor nor is enchanted in any way, so its just nice clothes for a traveling mage to wear on the road.)

-Basic Traveling Backpack (Is worn on her back from the start; contains a small knife, storage space, and three days worth of rations of dried meat jerky and mixed-grain hardtack-like ration biscuit.)

-Water Skin (Is worn via shoulder strap; is filled with clean water and has a good cork as a stopper to open/close it.)

Special Item: A strange yet dusty ornate magical staff with a sun/moon motif at the top of it, seemingly left unused for quite a long time. She can feel some kind of ancient or at least unknown power thrumming quietly within it, but the staff is inactive and refuses to respond to her at all (yet). What it can do by itself, or what she can do with it in regards to her own magic, remains an utter unknown. If nothing else its is a good walking stick for now, she can peculiarly recall it to where she is or even into one of her hands with a thought, and it is also good for at least generally hitting something with since part of the head of it is so spiked out and all (but it is not necessary for her to have in order to cast magic).

In short, this item is just some inactive magical item that is only useful as a walking stick and smacking things, and likely will be for quite a long time until the GM deems fit to have it 'awaken' and have some kind of magical effects/uses beyond this. ((She is a pretty good Swimmer, even being an approved lifeguard. She has maintained and continues to maintain a generally healthy fit body through a regular and personally-organized Exercise regimen as well. She is also generally familiar with sailing a ailing ship, though how this translates over to the world she was summoned to is another thing. All of this at least is what 'other' skills she generally has as far as the new world of the RP is concerned.))
