_________________ Nyu-Taro Ames hardly knew she was flying through the air until her body connected with the tiled roof of some shop - and then proceeded to roll painfully until she and Mags came to a stop nearby the Western Gate. Getting slapped around by Mags was one thing, but getting blasted by some random person was another. Lying on her back again, Ames breathed out deeply through her nose and stared up at the sky with pinched brows. She lifted her arm to give Mags a half-hearted wave when the other girl left with a word of thanks and promise, and the red head found herself having the same thought: was it worth it? Probably not. At the end of the day she'd helped out a friend though, hopefully that counted for something! Passerbys gave her various looks of annoyance and pity, perhaps mistaking the dirty young man sprawled on the cobblestone for a derelict, but before too long Ames stood up and dusted her avatar off.Outside the City "Only two? I'm sure you guys got it, hold on I'm gonna figure this party thing out."
After meeting up with everyone and finally traveling together outside of the city, Ames had stuck the two talismans in her possession to her starting clothes. She still intended to give one to Kriz whenever they came back online, but for now he wouldn't be needing it... so might as well not let it go to waste, right? That was the thought anyway. Keeping it safe for him. Yup.
With the bonus stats, Ames felt more than comfortable hanging back and fiddling with the menu screens while the others did all the work valiantly fought against the kappas. She wasn't worried about an ambush because she knew she was pretty dang strong right now - well, compared to the other low level immortals at least. So, while the battle went on Ames painstakingly targeted every member of their group and added them to an official party. "...aaaaand done, I think!"
She looked up in time to catch Amulak's spell, and her eyes sparkled. "Aw, so cool! Maybe I should have picked magic to start with." One thing was for sure, Magpie was definitely going to enlisted to help unlocking a cool class for Ames too.
"Well, looks like you've guys got it! Go go, finish 'em off!" Ames cheered, pumping one fist in the air happily while not actually helping whatsoever.

The Cadet hadn't expected any company since Tora and Poppi had been blown off the beast earlier, and yet here he was, the little guy they'd picked up from that hellish casino back in Lumbridge... or Blue-Something, technically? The specifics wouldn't change the fact that Cadet was glad to see him, surprising as it was, and the red head took the time to flash Cuphead a grin.
"Just hold on, it's about to get bumpy!" Ace Cadet was mid-swing with the scythe-like longsword when the dragon careened into the tower and began to topple over. With one cut across her face for good measure, Cadet hastily sheathed the weapon and prepared to jump. Choosing to get off of the massive creature and control his own fall would be much better than being flung off on her descent and risk being crushed, and when she eventually righted herself she no doubt would be thrashing, leading to the same problem. Best to bail sooner than later.
"Aaand now's the time to make our exit," He said, and held his hand out towards Cuphead, trusting the adolescent to take his advice without explanation. He'd be glad to help the Cuphead out, cradle the fragile guy close just in case as he jumped, but either way he was getting off this dragon before it threw him off. Just before she crashed completely to the ground, the Cadet tensed himself for a moment before he leaped as far from the scaly body as his legs could manage. He hit the ground hard, tumbling, and by the time he reoriented himself and stood upright the enderdragon bellowed out and was back on her feet and attacking. Stubborn monster! But I guess I can't expect less of a black dragon! With that thought Cadet pulled his pouch around and jammed a hand inside of it, searching for the lifepowders he still had left. Blazermate was no doubt doing a fine job of keeping everyone up, but a little extra help in the healing department never hurt.
The dragon pounced and the Cadet fished the powder out a hair's breadth too late. He felt his heart leap into his throat, not quite ready to lose a companion yet - oh, wait, actually the Courier was fine. And so his robotic sidekick. In fact she was being carried off by some extremely familiar creatures. Now the felynes really caught him off guard. Though the felynes were commonplace back in his own world, seeing something so familiar in a decidedly unfamiliar place was strange. It was different than the polluted ancient steppe, and his pondering gave just enough pause for the dragon to take advantage of, even unintentionally. She spit acid up all over the area, and the strong stench stinging his nostrils brought him quickly back to the battle at hand. The acid splashed the stone at his feet, sending large droplets up to bite at his skin and armor. It burned. A lot.
With gritted teeth Cadet wiped the acid off. Before his hands suffered even more he shook the lifepowder held in them and waved it over his head, letting the healing spores fly. The effect was immediate and soothing, and the powder reached an even wider area when the wind from the dragon's wings picked them up and spread them out to heal any ally they touched. Speaking of wind, the Cadet had experience dealing with the merciless currents of the Kushala Daora - and compared to that tempest, a little wind pressure was nothing. He ducked behind one of the obsidian spires, letting the sturdy stone block the brunt of the wind. He sucked in a deep breath before jumping out from behind the stone intending to get back into battle, only to be faced with the dragon's new play: cover the entire island in acid.
"Of course," the Cadet muttered to himself, though the corners of his mouth twitched upward. Of course she was making this play. Though, truthfully, the sight of the felynes carrying off Gaigetron just a bit earlier eased Cadet. If they were around, this was a lot more like a normal hunt, right? So he let himself enjoy it a little despite - or perhaps because of - the danger. He armed the slinger's grappling hook again and fired it halfway up the spire he'd just come from. He hung low towards the spire's base for a few moments and offered his hand to any that needed to escape the flow of acid but had little means to do so, calling out, "Here!" before ascending.
Thank you~ as for pairing, I like all the servants and would be happy to be partnered to any of them. I have some thoughts but I think it's only right for the Masters accepted before mine to decide before I do.
@Anza, your master sheet has Rider listed, now that his sheet is actually in let me know if you're still interested - it's okay if you don't think they'd mesh together now that you see him! No worries.
As for Discord even though I voted neutral if you need a concrete vote I'd be for it.
She may do a fine job at hiding it, but Priscilla is a woman on the verge of a breakdown. Faced with the consequence of choice for the first time can be terrifying - and for Priscilla, that is absolutely true. There is a tremble to every action she takes, a silent question in ever word, but she is determined. Determined to see these consequences through, so long as the decision was hers.
Being isolated for most of her life, Priscilla is very interested in making connections with others. Connecting is even the basis for her own abilities. Approaching someone in order to make a friend, or even to make an enemy is something she finds enjoyable and exhilarating. She takes pleasure in the life experiences of others. She never fears jealousy or self-pity, instead this kind of thing gives her hope for the future.
Her personality is unsteady. Though she desperately wants to live according to her own whims, she is prone to doing what's she told. Backing down, staying quiet. When she resorts to these passive actions a dark pit forms in her heart. It the pit gets too heavy, if it falls out and takes her heart with it... she doesn't know what she'll do.
The Methumorte family. Small time, weak foundations. They hadn't produced a worthy heir in generations. So they doubled down. Forcibly integrated good genes into their own pool when possible. Secretive isolation otherwise. More children, more chances. Predictably, it became a sinister commune over time.
Located in the British highlands, the Methumorte family compound has expanded a lot in the past century. As more members spread out to kidnap young magi with potential and add them to their own family, word got out about them. Some willingly chose to join the commune, others left it to rejoin modern magus society. Many outside of the small family kept watch on them, seeing the commune as a silly experiment they could get some modest entertainment from. No one really thought such a mediocre family could strengthen itself through this method.
...and they were right, of course. Even if they'd increased the overall quality of their core lineage, it was negligible in the world of magecraft. Like any other magus family they wanted more: more power, more knowledge, more opportunity. Their current course of action wasn't working, and all of Clocktower's mages were laughing at them.
When the Yggdmillennia, seeking allies, offered protection in return for aid, the Methumorte family begrudgingly accepted. On the condition that the family retain full control over their own heavily fortified compound, they accepted any resources the Yggdmillennia had to offer in exchange for a handful of their own breed.
This "breed" included members of the core Methumorte family that were not chosen as possible leaders of their clan. Siblings and cousins with a stronger potential than most in the commune, yet expendable. While lesser members of the family were put to physical labor for community upkeep, the "core" members with most magic potential were shut inside to focus exclusively on improving the family's own magecraft. Keeping up their large bounded field and... Numerology, discovering the hidden meanings and true nature of the world through numbers. The hope was that eventually even miracles could be reproduced with enough study. The family's students were isolated with limited interaction with each other, put through strict training and diet. They had their sleep schedule planned out and didn't even choose their own clothes, dedicating all of their brain power to their craft. It broke some, strengthened others. For Priscilla, a member of this "breed," life was near insufferable.
And then she was given away. With the Yggdmillennia, she learned about their plans for a great war. In what was perhaps the first choice she'd made in her life until that point, Priscilla seized the chance to join in and find her own destiny. It's been a rough transition, but for the sake of her own life, Priscilla is determined. The Methumorte family never planned for this, but expect that if she can claim the grail for herself rather than the Yggdmillennia, they can use it to finally lift their family out of obscurity. Of course, Priscilla has no such plans. The Yggdmillennia gave her freedom, she wouldn't betray them. And yet...
TBD!
Origin: "Agency" Element: Earth School of Magecraft: Numerology
List of Skills/Spells:
First, Priscilla is adept at creating bounded fields and barriers, as well as maintaining them. Practice makes perfect, and she has certainly had a lot of practice. Although she can no nothing fancy with this simple magecraft, her experience makes her able to erect stronger fields more quickly.
Second, the Methumorte's specialty of basic numerology. Using the patterns between numbers to determine the best course of action or uncover secret truths. Recreating phenomenon through pure mathematical formula. It's nothing like true divination, but closer to sensing the shifting of energies and determining the next step from there. The Methumortes, as methodical as they were, were never able to advance their numerology beyond it's most basic concepts - perhaps due to their method of advancement itself was flawed. Priscilla is no exception to this.
Third, Priscilla's own brand of numerology. During her time with the Methumorte Family it was never considered as an improvement, but rather a deviation, and she was discouraged from using it. Even unconsciously though, this ability grew. Connections. Between people, between everything. Numerology makes use of the numbers found in every facet of life, whether people know they're there or not. Numbers are a universal language, easy enough for even children to understand all over the world. Language connects people, for good or for evil. When people connect, they continue to influence each other, even at a distance... there is a "thread" that connects them together. A thread that connects all things together if one looks hard though.
Priscilla uses a very straight forward application of this concept. She can draw a thread between herself and others. Animals, plant life, and even inorganic matter isn't outside the scope of her connections. Once she needed a vessel, a fetish to focus and create these threads. After she was denied such vessels, she learned to create them with just a touch - the most direct type of connection. If a part of her body touches something, she can draw a thread to it and exert outside influence over it. Broadcasting a feeling or even physically tugging is possible. There is a limit of course, and they can't be used to bound people or things like that - plus, once discovered, it's easy enough for another magus to sever the "thread." However, one well placed pull, one moment of hesitation could easily spell the end of even an accomplished warrior during a war.
Mystic Codes:
Just the one. An Opal Viewing Dish, something she obtained after coming to the Yggdmillennia compound. Her first request of them, answered magnificently. Mana can be collected inside the dish and stimulated with her own od, showing visions of those she has made a connection to with her magecraft. It helps her to keep track of and better visualize her own threads as well as focuses her concentration, in a sense improving her ability while she uses it.

Rider of Black
Master: TBD -------------The Black Prince True Name: Edward of Woodstock
Gender: Male --- Alignment: Chaotic Good (Evil) --- Height: 180cm --- Build: Knightly
Source: Historical Fact --- Region: England
A young man stuck between two reputations. On one hand, he is the paragon of knightly virtue: brave, chivalrous and pious. The defender of England. On the other, he is a tyrannical general: brutal, vengeful, and vain. The scourge of France. So what does that mean? A tortured soul, a fractured psyche? No. Rider is a prince raised to idolize the knights of his country who later became a knight in his own right. He embraces both of his roles with gusto, and he acknowledges and accepts that in life he tended to go a bit... overboard. But his actions as a knight, no matter how atrocious, were justified - so he decrees as a prince.
To his allies, Rider is kind and cordial, the very picture of chivalry he was known to be. And, after acknowledging the "black" side of his reputation, he tries to extend this courtesy to his enemies as well. However there is no hiding that he has a violent side, and as much as he tries to reign it in, in the heat of battle it's not unusual for harsh words to slip out, or for Rider to pull a dirty trick or use excessive force. It's possible he will snap at his allies as well should they really get under his skin. He very much values respect, so if his respect is given and not returned he might even threaten those on his side.
Although he doesn't believe that his past actions are evil or unjust, he does show some reluctance to be branded a brutal prince again. For Rider he is "the chivalrous prince Edward," no more and no less. A knight to the end. Toward the end of his life he did his best to atone for his sins. However, if slipping back into a villainous role is what's needed to win, he will do so with no hesitation. After all, a knight does not lose - and so long as he takes victory, as a prince he will decree that the ends justify the means.
A simplified tale: The hero of England, Edward of Woodstock. A gifted prince born to the English royal family. Growing up he was taught strict manners and military matters, as well as the code of chivalry which he took to heart. The years following his childhood would see the rise and fall of the notion of chivalry, in a conflict that came to be known as the Hundred Years War. Edward was still young at the war's dawn, but as king's eldest son he was expected to do his part. He was knighted at 15, and the very next year went on to win victory for his country in his first campaign.
Over the next years he and the armies he led ran over the land France, ruining and razing cities all for the glory of the English crown. For his people, he was an icon of knighthood and a respected leader. Obviously for the ravaged towns he left in his wake, he was more like a dark villain. He came to be known by the moniker "The Black Prince," due to his violent actions. Or... some say it was due to his black shield and armor, but even so, the barbarous conduct he was accused of indeed happen, at least in this rendition.
After a particularly bad break with a friend that led to the destruction of an entire village's populace, his "black" reputation was cemented. The war continued. He met friend and foe alike on the battlefield. Like many at the time he caught ill, and on his deathbed he repented for the sins he'd committed. And now, he returns to pseudo-life again to wage war once more.
Stats:
STR: C
END: A
AGL: A-
MAG: D
LCK: C
Weapons: swords, lances (preferred), shield
Class Skills:
Riding A+
Simply put, the skill to ride mounts. Excepting the dragons and dragonkind, Rider can use any vehicle, vessel, or creature as a mount and ride it expertly. He is a perfect "knight," after all, and what knight can't do something as simple as that?
Magic Resistance D
A skill that grants protection against spells and magical effects. Though certainly in the royal family's employ, Rider's own contact with antagonistic mages was limited, hense the relatively low rank.
Personal Skills:
Charisma (Black) B
A person's natural charm, and their ability to lead people, whether it's commanding an army or uniting a nation. During group battles, this skill raises the abilities of allies. For Rider, his words are a promise of violence: so while they inspire those on his side, they also demoralize the enemy.
Combat Maneuver (Horse) A
The skill of mounted battle. Naturally Riders are gifted in such combat arts, but this Rider takes it a bit further. His jousting skill is legendary, and his mastery over his steeds unparalleled. Because his battle tactics rely so heavily on being mounted, his own Agility parameter features a minus correction whenever he is unmounted.
Contradictory Nature C
Similar to a certain other Rider's skill, but instead of a split of the mind it is a split of behavior. The type of man who would swear an oath of piety and protect an ally with his life, yet stubbornly take the lives of innocent women and children. English legends of a gallant and chivalrous knight, as well as the French legends of a brutal, whimsical general - both of these are true simultaneously, leading to an alignment of both good and evil.
Mad Enhancement E+
At this low of a rank, he wouldn't normally receive the benefits of this skill. In exchange, his sanity is left intact. However, his rage can be triggered by being made a fool of, and the skill is further affected by one of his own Noble Phantasms.
Name: A Steed Fit for Jousting
Title: Even a Horse Can Win its Spurs
Type: Anti-Unit
Rank: A
Range: 1
Targets: 1
Description: A passive Noble Phantasm. Jousting is a knight's claim to fame, it's only natural that the perfect knight excels at it... but in order to joust one needs a sturdy steed. Whenever Rider assumes control over a vehicle, vessel, or animal as a mount, said mount's form is modified into the perfect steed for a gifted knight on horseback. That is, it's shape is physically transfigured to better make use of his raw jousting skill. Anything he applies his Riding skill to becomes a mount NP in it's own right, equal to E-rank. Due to his inner violent nature, the shape it takes is a little... rough looking, but he ignores it.
Name: A Shield for Peace
Title: Thyself the Defender of all the Weak
Type: Anti-Unit
Rank: C
Range: 1~2
Targets: 1
Description: A defensive Noble Phantasm drawing from his chivalrous side. The image of a valiant knight, leaving his position in order to raise his shield in defense of another - that is the legacy Rider left behind, in his home country anyway. Basically, it's an extremely sturdy shield! If it's true name is called, so long as it is in defense of an ally, Rider can use his shield to guard against even mental attacks. For example, he can defend against fear with courage, against despair with hope, so long as these mental tools are part of his oath of chivalry. It cannot be used in defense of his self. Technically he could use it as an improvised weapon, but that's a bad idea.
Name: I Have Met No Enemy Without Victory
Title: All Are Put to the Sword
Type: Anti-Fortress
Rank: B
Range: 1~50
Targets: 3000
Description: An offensive Noble Phantasm. drawing from his villainous side. The reenactment of his most famous cruelty at the siege of Limoges, where he was accused of ordering the town's entire population, including women and children, put to death. It is a promise of victory at any cost, emboldening himself and strengthening the press of his lance and the trample of his steed's hooves. Put simply, he becomes a one man destructive force, ignoring the effects of debuffs and demerits, with the ability to raze a city. Because this time in his life is associated with dark feelings of betrayal enough to aim to destroy an entire population, his Mad Enhancement skill's plus modifier activates and cause Rider to easily lose track of his own strategy.
Here they are, sorry for the wait, I hope they are up to par.
By the way, I've been chatting with Turbo in PMs and they have my 99% complete sheets for both a master and servant. I'm at work pretty much all day today but when I am free I can post them here in the OOC.
