Awesome! I have a chunin character already made but I'm wanting to be even more involved. I've read through the ooc and see talk of Kage and what not. What kind of requirements are needed to be a higher importance character such as that? Feel free to PM me if this is not tye proper place to discuss this. Thanks :)

(Also, do I put my CS here or PM you?)

Well, the best method of talking to essentially all of us would be to have a Skype as we've got a chat there hehe. However, conversely we can talk here or in PM.

At the moment I know Kal-El is working on our Mizukage, I've got the Raikage.

Ganryu is likely to take Tsuchikage, he's just got to get the CS up, he's already spoken to me about that.

So that leaves the kage of a non-canon village, the Kazekage, and the Hokage. I know Innue might want the Hokage, but he's not around currently soooo...yeah.

As to the requirements for such a position I tend to work on an individual basis unless I need to do otherwise. So in this case, I would like to see your chuunin. You can send me a PM or get on skype (same username as here) if you happen to have one and are willing to use it ^_^

Just know that being a kage will require the following information written up at some point (preferably sooner than later for the sake of the other players, not me):

A write up of how your country/village is set up and what its focuses are. This includes the state of the village/country given the aftermath of the war just 10 years ago.

As an example. I chose, as the Raikage, for Kumogakure's focus to be research and military strength. The Land of Lightning is still recovering, hence the smaller size of their military, and Genmyou is trying to establish some more stable trade routes at the moment in addition to other things

Past this as a kage you'll be in charge of whomever is in your village. So, while I am totally willing to help on this front as it is my job, you can, and should, send other player character in your village on missions. This is something you and I can collaborate on. You are also working with lots of creative and flexible people in a very open world, so it shouldn't be too much trouble at the end of the day.

Beyond that, well...I'll get into that after I see your chuunin if that's alright.

There are other notable positions beyond kage by the way. Members of the seven swordsman, becoming the assistant/bodyguard/adviser to a kage, Becoming the head of the kage's special forces or security force, becoming head medic nin, etc etc etc.

So yeah, plenty of options :D

Also, putting your CS here means the review will be public, sending it via PM means it will be private.
Just going to pop in here and say that im interested :)

Your interest is quite welcome. So welcome to the RP. Any questions? If so direct them at the OOC and either one of our helpful players will answer, or Riddle or I will get to it first (which is likely).

It'll probably be me, since I stalk my own thread hahaha.
Whats the posting minimum?

If you mean amount posted it really has more to do with quality and substance than it does have to do with length. So you can write a paragraph response, but I'd hope it's got some quality to it and has things that give material for others who are interacting with you to react and interact with.

At the same time, I'm willing to allow people to grow as writers here, so I'm not going to really put a lower limit on things in regards to amount posted. What I'd like to see, but don't expect because expectation vs. reality is unfair, is for people to post 2-5 paragraphs of quality stuff.

However, again, we accommodate for everyone here.

However, if we're talking about post frequency, well, I'd like for people not to hold their writing partners back. Meaning, if someone is waiting for you to post for over two weeks, I am going to be at least somewhat displeased with that. Their character will be liable to be controlled and portrayed as accurately as myself, or another GM, can manage so that they can be moved to the side and everyone can continue with their posting with as little further delay as possible.

So yeah, don't disappear for a while week without any notice and try not to leave people hanging as otherwise I'll have to step in so the others can move on.

If one is gone for three weeks without any contact or response to any GMs attempts at figuring out what's going on your character is likely to be killed or put into a situation where they are not going to interact with anyone, but can be picked up. As a note, those who drop off the face of the earth and make no effort to communicate why (if such is possible) will be watched with greater scrutiny should they return after a leave of absence whereas those who maintain contact will be given greater leeway.

@Tuujaimaa you may consider the below edits only partially negotiable. Meaning, some change of similar make, or equivalent limitation must be applied to compensate for not accepting the ones listed below. I am also going to apologize for coming off as rude below as I'm being blunt, so it tends to sound that way due to the lack of sufficient tone portrayed through textual communication. So yeah, don't take it personally.

This concludes my review for the moment. I need to go over her history, but aside from that I think I've addressed the points I want to.

I have a deadline for the 20th of this month for an art submission for a gallery I've shown in once already. I am trying to do a more expansive collection of pieces for this show. Last time I had only been able to finish one piece before the deadline. I'm trying to finish up at least 7 pieces for this show.

Once that is done, I'll actually have time to do things. Maybe earlier if I can get through these things faster than I assume.

Sounds great. I wish you success in your venture.

As a note, you are free to use your previous characters and set up from Continuum. I won't be including the Omoitsuku-za right away though, but I may very well RP out their conception ICly. So yeah, that's a thing.
I'm just popping my head in to let you know that I'm keeping an eye on this. I won't actually know if I have the time for this for another couple of days, but I sure hope that I will.

Woah, that picture is...unsettling. Sounds great though. I hope you do too. Just know that as long as this is alive it shall be open. This is a fact, which is very unlikely to change throughout its existence.

I've just been super busy with life recently and am trying to meet some deadlines on some creative projects that I've been working on. I'll try to get back in a groove to incorporate roleplay again if possible.

No problem man. Do whatcha need to. Get to this if you can. I haven't thrown out any of our ideas in regards to the...research project, if you catch my meaning.
Naruto: Continuum

A World with a slightly different past, Naruto: Continuum throws out the ideas of the Sage, and his brother's, mother Kaguya in favor of utilizing the sage as the origin of ninjutsu without the complications of prophecy. 300 years after the creation of the Bijuu and the sage's death the First Shinobi war takes place. This RP is set 10 years after this very war, thus allowing for the five famous hidden villages to have formed...though likely with some exceptions.

Continuum is a chance to create the history of the Narutoverse from that point onwards. Who catches the Bijuu? Who forms Akatsuki, or does that crisis never come to pass? These are choices one can make in this world. Whether a clan rises to prominence, or disappears from the annals of history is no longer history, but you can make it so.

In short, Continuum strives to create a history over a long period of time in the Narutoverse without restricting everyone to a single village or a single rank. While there will be central plot points that effect everyone, they will not be solely controlled by the GM, but can instead be initiated by any player in this world. Nonetheless, I, as the primary GM, strive to make sure everyone has something fun to do, and to make sure that anyone of any rank with any aspirations finds their place.

It is meant to be the home of the Advanced player and the relaxed new writer alike and I will strive to make sure no one feels left out and that everyone is as happy with their experience as is made possible.

Will you give it a try?

Above is the link to our OOC if you should find yourself taking an interest in this budding world. If not, but you do decide to read till this point and perhaps have some questions, complaints, or otherwise commentary I'd appreciate you leaving it in this thread for me, or any other, to read. Receiving constructive criticism for anything I write is something I value immensely, so any willingly given is to my benefit and will be received gratefully.

Thank you for your time and I hope to see ya in the thread~

After all, our motto is Always lonely, always open.

Trust me, you'll be welcomed if you come and if you stay we'll make sure you don't regret it.

^_^
Mizukage? I could. I totally could. Hrmm. Kakashi level ninja to take over.

As long as you'll be active to play him/her I'm fine with it, go ahead! :)

Hi btw~
Tsuki-sha, Kyūsai - The Ashen Harlequin

Having separated from his little...group, Kyūsai relaxed and let out a breath before drawing another in. His smile evaporated and his eyes went cold. As passersby glanced at him, some recoiled in shock despite his body being perfectly normal. It was the expression. Paying no mind to the significant gawkers, Kyūsai turned down a side street so as to avoid their gaze. He could have kept up the facade, but it was energy consuming, so he'd rather not for the moment. Granted, it wasn't so much a facade as it was...the thing.

It was difficult to explain to others, and it was a well kept secret of the genetic progenitors of Tsuki-sha clan. As while many merely thought that every few generations individuals were born who could control their accursed Kekkei genkai, they were not quite correct. In actuality what happened was that the more...human side of the inheritor was split, giving the cancerous parasite within a form of sentience. As a result, the parasite became more symbiotic than was normal. This allowed the two to coexist via the human intentionally feeding the parasite, and the parasite fasting as much as possible. The problem was that the control wasn't ever permanent, eventually the parasite's instincts would win over its intelligence and the delicate equilibrium would collapse.

So far, Kyūsai's parasite had lasted the longest without mental decay, but this only meant that it was a ticking time bomb. It meant that the parasite would likely retain its sanity longer...for a price. Whenever its sentience failed, it would likely become something far more terrifying than any of its predecessors.

It was a dark secret that Kyūsai, and his clan, did not want the world to know. It was a burden he carried, and one he carried well. It drove him to work swiftly, for his own sake...and that of others.

Reaching the informant's office building, Kyūsai took a deep breath, let his smile gently form on his face, before he entered.

Hopefully she had good news.

Zume TatasukoSuiteiru Meian

Zume smiled as he laid eyes on his wife, for even though he saw her daily she was a sight for sore eyes. Then again, perhaps it was that his eyes saw too much, which made him predisposed to finding the sight of something that brought him enjoyment on a more base level a quite pleasant experience. Chuckling internally he closed the rest of the distance between himself and Kurohana, taking her into his arms and breathing in her scent. Had he been normal he'd not have detected it, but he wasn't normal. "It is hard to tell with these things," he began as he held her, smiling down at her with a certain serenity about him. She really did bring him a unique sort of peace of mind.

"However, with a war on the horizon behind us it is not so strange that the cycles would shift this soon," he mused aloud. Gently letting his arms fall away from her form, he looked to the bath and smiled, "It's too bad I can't join you love." His eyes didn't look to her barely towel covered body, but she'd feel his gaze nonetheless.

Taking a step away from her and glancing downstairs, as it was visible through the holes in the balcony, Zume spoke once more. "So the children will be back in a few days," the comment was an open one, inviting further discussion.

He glanced back her way, eyes gleaming slightly, the slightest of smiles still on his lips.

Who knows what he was thinking.
GenmyouThe Shade of Clarity

Atop his hidden observatory that rested in a small cave system above his office, stood the Raikage. Looking down at the village which sprawled down the mountain, hidden in the clouds. He had come to love this place, it seemed. It had grown on him.

Exhaling through his mask and past his hood, the kage turned is gaze away from the village and to the horizon. At this height one could see quite far, but for him it was not far enough. Even with the lay of the land apparent to him he could not see the intricacies that lay upon that land. The people, the exact composition of the earth, the potential enemies that might lurk behind any stone...within any forest. It was simply not enough.

Turning his mind to another matter as they settled down below, on his office, Genmyou decided what he ought to do this day, then turned and walked beneath the overhang of the small cave that was his observatory. His chakra snaked out from his form and touched a small seal on the ceiling and as it did, he vanished, reappearing on the porch of his office before entering the building again. His robes kept him warm, but it was indeed cold in the mountains...though not always.

The weather was sporadic really, he had come to find. It could be raining one moment, and scalding the next.

Sitting at his desk, Genmyou let his hand slide over its surface till it touched another seal. He kept it there and after a moment he spoke into the air, calling for two of his advisers and two other individuals. He knew the other was not in the building at the moment, but she'd get there promptly. When that was done he looked to the surface of his mahogany desk and began sorting through various papers, muttering to himself quietly as he did so.

Eventually he had finished sorting them into piles by type and relevance, with the most important ones on the top, and the least on the bottom. Once that was done he arranged them at the four corners of the desk so as to move them out of his way. Then he reached into his robes, extracted a rather unique looking pen. Immediately he felt his chakra enter its reservoir, and he took it to a piece of chakra receptive paper he'd extracted in the same motion, but with his other hand.

He began inscribing a seal into the paper. It would take him some time, but it would almost surely be done by the time his adviser arrived.

For him, that was a long time.

It was one of the perks of being a master at the art.

Good thing he'd learned from the Antare.
fuck my life i'm just going to wait

*Smirks* I sent you a PM.

Guild coding is pretty particular :P
Well, you'll want to post the CS in the Character thread. After that it's up to you. I'm sure everyone here can help figure out something. I know Tear's character is wandering/walking around in Kumogakure right now. So he's open for interaction. I also plan to post at some point today. I'm working on other things at the moment, such as Akine's character sheet...for example.
