"It is my last conscious breath which shall sunder your being, demon! Let history remember that. Let him know that were it not for you, he would know my fury!"

GenmyouThe Shade of Clarity
Awareness

His gaze having fallen upon the statue of hands, Genmyou made no move to turn as Kobuto made himself known in the room--not that he hadn't already been tracking the kage's movements. He took in the details of the man's movements, the intricacies of his posture, demeanor and what specifically he had decided to hold. That his book was not closed was telling, but nonetheless he made no mention of the Jade book as he replied to the Tsuchikage's words. "Yes, indeed they are," he began, his posture hidden by his robes, face by his mask. His fingers, hidden by his clothes, moved in handseals. Chakra of the electrical variety readied itself within him as he spoke again, "Though I doubt that is the only reason you've sought me out, Kobuto. It is not often that I leave my office without guards after all and when I do, few know I am gone." His head turned towards the man, silver eyes piercing and unreadable as they stared through the holes in the mask to observe Kobuto directly.

The Raikage made move to turn to fully face the man, but his fingers continued weaving seals, each hand preforming a separate set. So far he'd prepared two lightning techniques and two seals of a sort. "So, my question is simple. What is it you wish to discuss?" There was the sound of a smile in his voice, though his eyes betrayed nothing.

Perhaps he already knew.
Agreed on that account.
To be fair, from my understandings, preps don't really determine how easy or not they are to stop, but how much power is behind them. You can prep one hundred turns, if I can logically stop it... fuckdatshitson #nitpicky xD

In the case of Khazna's swords, each prep used for a magical attack constitutes how many times "threads" he has to cut to nullify that magical attack/defense/maneuver.

Sooooo
This whole conversation is like two icebergs having an argument.

Both of them are drifting apart, but neither of them would budge if force was applied to them.

*Has been reading this whole time* Is there an argument, LeeRoy? This really seems like just a discussion to understand the two systems and what the failings of the interrupt system are. Rather than a debate to decide which is superior or which is flawed.

@Gun

Ah yes, subconscious metagaming. Tis annoying, but oh well we're all human so we must put up with it ^^;
Please stop arguing with the Melon.

The Melon has no empathy or reason, so trying to argue with him is ultimately futile. Because he will never see your point.

"Arguing"

Lol.
Huh, neat.

Well, @Gun my only question since that's all accurate are as follow:

1.) When you say "retroactive," or "retroactively," what specifically do you mean in regards to interrupts? In my experience the idea of interrupts works by the principle that actions in two posts are happening more or less simultaneously as in real life.

I might have one other question, but I can't recall it at the moment.
@Lilygold your turn, sorry for the wait :)

Timore Scarborough
Entrapment

Timore's smile remained even as she made attempts to evade, which the serpent did not follow or make further efforts to stop. He made no movements either. He had her firmly in his grasp after all. "Unfortunately miss, I'm to take you into custody or eliminate you outright. Your choice really. I don't care much either way," stated the Musician with a slight shrug, his smile remaining. He had a slightly smug air about him even as he awaited her response. Still, despite his apparent motionlessness, the energies which danced invisibly about his form weaved through the air in subtle strings, each plucking their own tune via his whim as they unwound themselves around her. None of the energy ever touched her form or anything near her as they all positioned themselves several feet away, amounting to around 3 feet of room for her. Still, they were numerous and their purpose simple, though likely effective.

It was a net he had cast and it would close should he required it to.
