@Bright_Ops I'm really looking forward to our interactions really. I'm hoping we don't turn to the overused habit of 'antagonist' characters being overly broody and become massively indifferent to one another. It'd be fun to have the more villainous characters actually have some chemistry without being tied together in some super deep or convoluted way. Kind of like the villains in MHA or even Akame Ga Kill.

I'd also like to ask: Is Ganondorf's character just plain evil or are we going to borrow some from his Wind Waker variant? A more honourable and well-meaning Ganondorf, with his main fault being that he was born cursed and his methods bred from Twinrova's influence?
@CitrusArms Yes that is what I meant, since Link was the 'Royal Family Messenger' that slew not only the Gorons' tormentors but also saved Princess Ruto and stopped Ganondorf's curse from claiming a second great spirit. Essentially making Link known as a potential hero by the big tribes. So the three stones have been acquired, good good. I was mostly wondering what alterations were made to the story and how much of Link there'd be in this iteration.

I'm excited to see these events come into play! Zora's Domain being frozen, Volvagia's swan song to the Gorons, the Kokiri infestation. Loads of fun stuff!
Alright, after a good night's rest and seeing the new, fresh characters, I do have a few lore-relevant questions I think should be established before we dive in.

Have the doors in the temple of time been opened? As a result, did the Triforce get successfully split during Ganondorf's betrayal of the crown?

To compliment the set of questions above, have the three big tribes been visited by the would-be hero? Is the hero known to the people? Is our timeline going to be devoid of the hero? If so, how does the Triforce operate in this scenario?

Will we be visiting key elements to Ganondorf's total subjugation of the land? Such as the Gorons being conquered and Volvagia's revival? Can the events be altered to a degree, such as the evil Spirit Bongo Bongo being used more tactically than just ... Suddenly putting the town on fire and bailing?

Given my (brief) lore on Nabooru was accepted, I'd assume the sages are incarnated as the same beings in this RP? If there's no hero, will the cast be naturally brought to meet them? Will it be a sort of race of Light vs Dark in that regard?
I already give a lot of shit to people for playing Dead by Daylight on Switch, but Discord. Oh boy.

Perhaps the Co-GM can get it going as we find a solution for our dear Head-GM?
I'd like to ask, are there plans of establishing a sort of chat (via discord or whatever) to better exchange with one another? Could be helpful to anticipate people's schedules and reach out to people being interacted with. If anyone's interested I'd be more than willing to share my discord if PM'd!
Donezo.
Hello! I was pondering a Light character, but now I believe I have a solid idea for the Dark side. I see a potential Gerudo Prince will emerge, so this can always add even more interesting dynamics!

In this world blessed by the three Goddesses of the Sacred Realm, there exists an ironclad phenomenon that perpetually leaves this world in constant and repeating cycles of destruction and deliverance.

An unstoppable monster born out of unfathomable power.

An immovable and stalwart hero with the courage to push through the unending darkness.

And guiding light, a leader to bring balance to this world with their great wisdom in these terrible times.

What was once considered a constant to this imperfect world revealed itself to be far less contingent on faith than foreseen by the many seers of Hyrule. The Dark Lord, once slain, had still returned. The Hero, said to bring hope whenever despair would emerge, had been conspicuously absent.

Multiple Cycles had since past, many Hyrules had come and gone. Since then, the wise eyes of the Royal Family hadn't forgotten what had happened. This was unsustainable. To leave Hyrule's fate in the hands of chance had proven to be submitting oneself to the whims of the Gods. The 5th Princess of this Cycle, Zelda Ras Hyrule, had opted to seize fate into her own hands.

Thus, the Green Hand was created. An Order that actively searches for candidates to be the potential 'Hero' as well as those that could be the 'Monster'. They are known throughout the land, meeting youths that'd usually fit the bill for the role of 'Hero' and testing them. Although little is said about their methods when it comes to dealing with those suspected of harbouring the potential of Demise's reincarnation.

Hello!

Up there is my little pitch for an adventure in the Zelda Universe. A few things to consider:

-I will NOT be playing a character, but rather the NPC's and the events going on. The Dungeon Master/Narrator, essentially.

-The adventure itself will have a bit more mature subject matters than the main series. Expect drama, death and quite a bit of twists (Although this won't be crossing some overly edgy lines. It'll be kept tasteful to a degree)

-I have a story in mind, but I'd like to have it revolve around characters. So it is prone to change.

-You can play /any/ race in the franchise, given this is yet another 'Cycle' where previous lore may not be as relevant. This includes monsters, although don't get too silly with these.

-'Cycles' are essentially each instance where the Dark Lord has reincarnated and the Hero had to intervene. However, the absence of the Hero, which would lead to the destruction, subjugation, or in Wind Waker's case: The sealing of the world, can also be considered a Cycle where the Hero failed.

-I'm not quite sure what the Timeline would be here, given how silly it is in the canon, but I'll have one set up if this RP starts. This shouldn't have any impact on character creation.

-Powers and magic should stay consistent with that's seen in the series. I'm fine with some variations, but let's not get too carried away.

You'd be playing a character that has agreed to help the Green Hand in their endeavour to find the next Hero. You can either be part of the order, or be recruited to help in the task with your own personal motives as the order itself is spread rather thin with current world events. There'll be a war going on opposing humanity (and their allies) to monsters and powerful demonic entities, which will make your quest a pressing one given the growing possibility of a new Dark Lord emerging (which is what's gotten most of the order distracted).

I'm not going to overload this thread with information since it's just an interest check! But if you have any questions, do not hesitate.
