Jericho smiled at Duncan's reply. "God knows I'm holding you to that, boss." Outside of feeling sore and tired, he was in relatively better shape than a number of the others were, and Duncan looked the worse for wear as far as he could see in the poor lighting. Sighing quietly, he looked around for any one who wasn't with them. OK, Syrus was sent away with that girl, Gracelyn...hell, she probably used the chaos to get away if we're lucky, Kein...maybe he got out too. Least I hope they got out... If something HAD happened to the pair, such as getting killed, then whoever was behind that little coup back in Deling City was going to die a slow and painful death when he got a hold of them.

Then he saw the new person and he vaguely remembered seeing around Balamb after being transferred there. Of course, he never bothered with many names, mainly because he forgot them if the person didn't stand out. The irony in that personality quirk is I know the names of all the people here. Damn they must of stood out really well.

Damian raised an eyebrow at Master Jamie chewed him out. "And you're saying you didn't tell the kid there's normally a test?" Shaking his head, he steps aside as Penny came up. "I know you know what you're doing, Jamie, it's our good friend Lucas here. His magic's a little...deconstructy." As Penny spoke, he looked at Master Jamie. "Actually, that's a good question. One better discussed behind closed doors."

Damian smiled and nodded. "Cool. Let's meet outside the hotel in...two hours?" Once Penny gave her answer, Damian leaped over the edge of the stairway and caught himself a couple floors down, climbing down by jumping over to the wall of the next building and sliding down it. A few feet from the bottom, he pushes off and rolls into a jog before slowing down to a walk before exiting the alley and heading to the hotel. He would need to find out what places had the right romantic atmosphere, but also weren't TOO spendy, he didn't bring much of his savings with him, or at least as much as he should have. I could make a withdrawal at the bank, but these Golden Laws could decide that trying to attack when Penny and I are on our date is best...I'll keep it with me, but that's about it.

He really hoped that these guys had more class than to attack a guy while he's having dinner with his girlfriend, but somehow he doubted it. Walking into the hotel, he nods to the front desk manager and heads down the hall to the stairs to get to his room when he saw Lucas and Master Jamie. And it wasn't hard to tell what Master Jamie had essentially said. "WHOA! Hey, no need for that here!" He hurried to the pair then got between them with his hands held up. "We're in the middle of the Grand Magic Games, trying to show people that they can TRUST magic, and you're about to get into a fight of some kind in the middle of Crocus in our hotel? What the hell is this even about?" Damian silently prayed Penny was close behind him and would back him up in regards to postponing anything major until later. "And if you're going to insist on doing this, at least ask if you can use the courtyard."

He then looks pointedly at Lucas. "And if you CAN use the courtyard, try not to reduce everything around you to rubble."
