Current Attn teeny boppers: You realize adbots aren't ppl, yes? They randomly generate login info, then execute pre-programmed posts. Your rage-spam goes unheard by the machine. And is equally annoying.

If you're going by UK conventions of knighthood/nobility, yes. It also would be pronounced like the "dam" in "madame," rather than like a Dick Tracy "daym."

Me: "Goku, thank God you're here!" Goku: "I heard a really strong guy was here! Lemme at him!" Me: "He's right there!" *Points at my Writer's Block* Goku: "... Sorry bud you're on your own."

Haha I love that you guys are asking the Padawan (who was clearly left out of the meeting) about how the meeting is going. I was so tempted to just put "How the F*** should I know?" and just leave it at that.

I admit I knew from the beginning we wouldn't actually learn anything, but it's not like we could just barge into the council chambers, right? >_>

@TheBigJon@Midori

The girl's focus was on the guards, rather than Damar and Vijjo, but soon she spoke, making fun of the guards for their steadfast refusal to give in to her bait.

"Some would say the same of all Jedi, I'm sure. It's part of the job to posture and be cryptic." Damar said with a light chuckle. But the girl was concerned about the war as well. To listen to her speak made Damar worry that perhaps Revan's influence was already spreading further than anyone knew...or maybe, maybe the girl was just young and still impulsive. Maybe she simply felt the same as Revan without having listened to Alek's speeches. But to know that so many Padawans might have, independently, come to the same conclusion was worrisome. If feelings of dissent were so strong, then...

No, best to focus on what facts he could glean for now. Best not to jump to conclusions, as the young Padawan did. Perhaps it was not his place, as he wasn't her master, but when next he spoke Damar sought to calm the girl somewhat.

"Now now, the Council may seem slow to act, but you must remember that the collection of people beyond those doors have a greater connection to the Force than some of us will ever experience." He waved a hand nonchalantly, as if he could simply fan away Taiko's worries. "The Force can grant visions, knowledge of the future, expansion of the senses. Perhaps, between them all, the Council simply knows something that we do not, and they do not see us as ready to share that knowledge. I, too, must admit that I wish to learn more of the war firsthand...but I won't say that I agree with Revan entirely. Whatever we, as an Order, decide to do, I don't think we should act without at least taking the Council's words into consideration."

Do you by chance have an ETA on the IC? Are we still trying to fill a character quota, or at this point is it just planning and writing? No rush, just curious.
Me and TheBigJon are pretty much stuck unless something else happens or unless we wanna look like total assholes and just walk away from someone after asking them questions, so yeah. Hopefully Midori shows up or Stadak comes out, one or the other.

The only things that came to my mind are some Japanese flower names. Maybe since Deku is a two syllable word with hard consonants, maybe something similar would roll off the tongue? Something like Kiku (chrysanthemum), Hana (flower, generic), Momo (peach), Yuuka (gentle flower), or Chika (thousand flowers)?

That's all I've got, hope it at least gets your brain juice flowing.
And finally, yes, there is a noticeable trend for having Courage Fragments, but honestly, I was fully expecting that to be case, Courageous heroes tend to be more memorable than Wise ones. Not that I actually agree with that notion, but I can see how others might come to that conclusion when making characters. Oh and yes, I have a rather dastardly plan for what I will do with Fragments that the PC's don't possess. Won't spoil it, obviously, but I will say you guys are in for a tough campaign. In fact, let me just warn you now, I don't plan to pull my punches in terms of controlling the villains, they will be smart, they will be planning, and if you take a wrong step you could very easily end up in a bad place, or even with a dead character.

Crap in a hat guys, now we're gonna fight bosses and giant monsters that have been given godly Wisdom. They're hard enough when they're just dumb brutes.

The three who've been accepted, or three of the total applicants? Because my character was/is a knight, not a guard--I don't think we actually see any knights in OoT, but there's a difference I'm pretty sure. Guards are like policemen, knights are like soldiers. There's some overlap, especially in a middle ages society, but I'm pretty sure they're still two very different positions.
Here's my submission, please let me know if anything needs to be tweaked.

@Double
Sorry, I should have been more clear. "With his battered mind only capable of remembering one thing: his quest to destroy Ganon" is narrative, not meant to mean that he LITERALLY can't remember anything else. I'll PM you further details so I don't clutter the thread.
