Reika Saigyo

Reika eyes went wide as Vinnie wrapped his arm around her neck and put a gun to her head. Vinnie? Vinnie was the mole? This whole time? Her trembling hand still held the gun out towards Alice. Apparently Lucia was the other mole. This was confirmed went a dart hit her in the thigh. Where did that come from? What was going on? The gun fell from her hand and clattered against the floor.

"Alice?" She asked with a pleading, regretful tone in her voice staring over at her long time enemy and only ally. Her legs went jelly and when the traitorous woman pushed her to the ground she hit the floor with a meaty thud. She didn't put her hands out to prevent herself from falling and thus her temple smacked against the concrete. Lucia's taunt was muffled and sounded like it came from underwater.

"Sumimasen..." The japanese woman mumbled to no one in the room. The head trauma, tranquilizer dart, and total, utter defeat took the fight out of her. A tranquilizer dart, head trauma, and total utter defeat dragged with woman into oblviion. Darkness nipped at the edges of her vision and her body betrayed her. Eyes closing, she went limp in Lucia's grasp. It made for an easy handcuffing. Reika was still alive but unconscious, and would have to answer for her crimes. A fate worse than death.

Reika Saigyo

Reika's make-up was smeared and her hair was tied up into a frazzled bun. Her tea set was almost empty, and she downed the liquid like it was life saving medicine, only today it didn't seem to help. There were bags under her eyes- she hadn't slept. Rachel was dead. She was the rat, right? Who was left? Leonardo was gone, too. Sweat gathered on her brow and as she went to dab it off she realized her hands were shaking.

"You fucking rat." She cursed, grinding her teeth. "Which one of you is it?" She glared between Lucia and Alice. "I know it's one of you." She glanced over at Vinnie. She placed the tea up to her lips and gulped it down. It tasted bitter. It tasted like nothing! Screaming, she threw the porcelain cup across the room and exploded to her feet. Reaching into her jacket she pulled out a beretta and leveled it at Lucia and Alice. She focused on Alice.

"It was you, wasn't it!? It always was you! Give me one good reason why I shouldn't kill you!" Her hands were shaking and there was a wild look in her eye.

"Do you know how long I worked for this!? My father died for this! For me! You fucking rat!" There was one thing holding her back. Alice might not be the rat. If Reika fired and was wrong, she would be dead. She quickly pointed it back at Lucia, and then back to Alice. Glancing over her shoulder at Vinnie she tried to gauge his reaction. Was he going to surrender? She focused her eyes back on the women on the other side of the table.
Anyone want to poison Reika? She's not going to surrender.
Starfire!

January , 8:43 PM
Chipotle Mexican Grill, West 34th Street, New York City

Starfire smiled, keeping her hands folded behind her back and rocking back and forth on her heels. "Hello, Rayner." She looked down at the extendend hand with a blank look on her face. Then she looked back to Rayner, and back to the hand. Ah, a handshake! She remembered that from earlier. She placed her palm against Rayner's and grasped, giving him a firm and handshake.
"I am here with my friends. There is Clio, and V, and Karen, and Jerome." She pointed over at the group of people she had entered with. "We were at a concert, but it was interrupted by an attacker. So we came here." Having explained herself, her eyes wandered back over to her friends. She waved over at the group, telling them with a gesture that all was well. The last thing Starfire wanted to be was a burden. Hopefully she had not embarassed them too much. After doing so her attention focused back to Rayner.

She then flattened her palms against the table and leaned in a little closer, lowering her voice to something that might be considered a 'whisper'. "I can't eat the food here. I'm not from this planet. That's why I was strange before."

She cocked her head to the side for a thought had just occured to her. "Are you from this planet? I hadn't thought about other people not being from this planet aswell."

Jehenne Alcroft

Jehenne flinched as the young woman Louise was onto her back by a wicked punch. After a moment the Hammerwhirls' eyes fluttered shut and she went limp, mumbling something about her father. She would be out for a while. For a moment, Jehenne's face was flat as she considered her next words carefully. The Church of Existence. Well, this certainly made things more complicated. Worst case scenario, she would be recaptured and would simply start at ground zero once more. Claiming she was kidnapped by the slave-freeing lunatics would be an easy to make claim. So, Jehenne put on a relieved smile as she palmed her sealing stone in her hands.

"My, my. The Church of Existence. You people really are mad, you know that?" She said, cocking her head to the side and smiling. The smile died on her lips when she saw Tam. It had certainly been a while. It was inappropriate for him of all people to see her like this. Speaking solemnly she quickly put on some robes.

"No, you won't be seeing him again. Rodrick is dead, Tamlorn Winter-Rose." There was an unusual coldness in her voice that Tamlorn wouldn't recognize as normal Jehenne felt gratitude, relief, embarassment, and perhaps even resentment. Many feelings to strangle out of her heart.

"We have to get moving, don't we?" Jehenne followed the idealogues down their winding dark alley ways and eventually came to a gondola, and a man named Inquisitor Malamocco. Jehenne placed one hand over her waist and raised her other hand just over her shoulder, and bowed, as was the customary show of respect of her people.

"And greetings to you, Inquisitor. I thank you for the speedy rescue." She'd ask what he had in mind for her and the boy- or young man, rather- Rote. Probably something. She doubted they tried to rescue every miserable captive that was brought through that market. She carefully stepped into the gondola, adjusting her robe to make sure nothing unsightly was revealed, and crossed one leg over the other. It was a refined an elegant pose for the poor circumstances. As the Black Cathedral came into view, the last Alcroft raised an eyebrow. It certainly didn't look like a place of sanctuary...but it would have to do. Anything was better than with that rambling pyromancer, or where she intended to take her.

"It seems we've stumbled into something quite extraordinary." She said, looking over at Rote. They had shared a common experience. He was the person she knew best other than, well, Tamlorn. But she wasn't sure she wanted to talk to him right now. Jehenne had vowed to forget the past and focus on the future, and here was this walking reminder of a time that was lost to her. So instead she focused on Rote.

i'm trying to think of what to post
Yasaliah Josk: Pilot

Yasaliah looked down at Luirae as she sat back into the chair, shaking her head. She pointed her cards at her. "You've got to be the dumbest drunk I've ever seen in my life, Rae." Josk's light purple face was now bright pink in the cheeks, the Satasi equivalent of becoming rosy.

"And you can't kill the Committee. Or the Council. Or the Spire. Especially not with your dumb plan, Astrid." The Satasi had downed a lot of alcohol and wasn't planning on stopping. She paused and tipped another bottle down her throat.

"I mean it's not your fault you're dumb, Astrid. Most humans are dumb. Most people are dumb, period. Dumbies everywhere." She raised her hand and cast an arc across the room, gesturing the dumbies across the universe. "What's it...sheep? Sheep? Yeah, that's it. Sheep. They're like sheep. They just follow the leader. Not me. They won't get me." She rambled on, ignoring the fact that Yasaliah was, in fact, got.

"I mean...what? Astrid?" She stopped herself mid-sentence and perked up, as if she just noticed something. She looked wide-eyed over at the human woman. "False conviction? Come on. You can be honest around us. We won't judge you! Not me. Come on, what'd you do? Did you, uh, blow somebody up? I bet you blew somebody up." She leaned toward Astrid, putting her elbows on the tabe and resting her chin in her palms. As the Satasi became more drunk, she began to radiate pheremones. Like losing control of a bodily function, suddenly the semi-nude Satasi began to emit scents that might make an unprepared individual hot and bothered. She wasn't even aware she was doing it. As a Satasi grows older, they begin to develop further control of their natural abilities. But young and undisciplined, the pilot could no longer keep it under control now that she could barely see straight.

@jdh97 your character has a history with a character in my backstory. that's awesome, but would you want to work out the finer details with me in PMs? we can leave it vague, if you want too. i'm okay with either. :P
@Letter Bee okay, no problem. the emotions that were plain were more of "wow this sucks", lol
