-as i walked around the acdemy i find my room but i dont enter it i went exploring-

Hikaru watched the events from a safe distance.
Certainly that David character was a troublesome one, to make him an enemy would be a bad idea.

But she was bored. Besides it could help her to gauge something.
Exactly how far could these monsters reach?

The girl sighed as she entered into scene only to visualize the feat of the girl named Remliel.

"What's up with that abnormal strenght you two have? Are you even humans?" Asked the girl as the trucks halves flied against David. She made sure to always keep a safe distance.

From beneath her feet her own shadow moved through the surfaces, as people were worried they didn't noticed her movement. Also, because it was a shadow it was easily ignored which she accounted as an advantage.

Dark Magic, it had several applications, strong sorcerers could use it to play with the darkness and night, someone weak as Hikaru could at most manipulate shadows, she was unnable to control other's shadows. Yet that was enough.

Before anyone could notice it, the shadow split into four halves and crawled to David's legs and arms all in the instant the truck was about to reach its target.

"Dark bind..." mumbled the girl. Weak as she was she could not bind someone for a long period of time, but she expected it to be enough to let the guy be crashed.

And if he dies?.... Who cares? It won't be my fault, that girl will suffer the blame for sure... Perhaps that would be even better. One monster dies, the other is rejected. Both would be a trouble for me anyway...

That'll give me some fun I guess thought without revealing her inner smile

Eris moved back from the door quickly when she saw the girl walking towards the door and jumped on the bed holding her rabbit tight to her chest and every once in a while would look up at the window of the room or at the girl until she finally built up the courage to say something, "Ummm.... Hi, You must be one of the other roommates that was assigned here right?" she said before hearing more noises coming from outside, 'What are they doing now?' she thought as she got up and looked out the window to see two halves of a car get thrown.

Finley smiled softly at the girl as she anapped the last part of her sniper in place. She wiped the gun down once again as she spoke, "Yes, I guess were roommates now. I'm Finley, but you can call me Fin-" She snapped her head toward the window as the commotion ensued. Curiosity won and Finley slipped off her bed and walked to the window to look down upon the fight.

When she noticed the two halves of the car tumbling quickly toward David she looked for the source they had come from. The girl she had gotten in an arguement with earlier was standing there from the direction in which the vehicle was rolling from. David wasn't moving, the vehicle would surely strike him. She focused on the two halves, her energy leaving her body in attempt to keep the tumbling contraptions from crushing him. She poured all her energy into stopping the metal death traps before they collided with David in hopes it would work.

Raising his arms over his face, Mikkish darted, appearing to change shape to a dark blur moving at bullet speeds, right into both halves. Mikkish made a direct hit on the first, and the first flew off course and knocked into the other half. Both halves wound up on the ground. Neither touched David, though that's not to say it would have done much if they had.

"Hey! The kids retarded. Its not right!" Mikkish said to Remliel "I appreciate you stepping in to help me, not saying I don't. And I gotta say, you're pretty incredible. So is he." This was unlike Mikkish. He didn't actually care, and in fact probably would have been more amused to let them fight each other, but the fact was it was probably a dangerous place, this island, to have people who could increase their strength, start fires, and god knows what else. Plus, Mikkish doubted that just because people knew magic, the island was different from any other place. There were ghettos and drug dens probably, just like anywhere else. Hell, the bus took them through such an area. Fact is, he needed to make connections fast. And it would be most convenient to friend these two, Remliel and David. They all came on in the boat. He probably wasn't on good terms with Leon, having fired off his gun and wasted one of his bullets. Mikkish hoped the guy wasn't gonna blow his face off next time they saw each other.

He should have moved, could HAVE moved but Junior had instructed him clearly, that he should catch it……catch it with his mouth. That sounded fun, slobber was drooping down from his lower lip at the sheer epicness of playing catch with his teeth.

Maybe he'd even get a cool nickname like DD.

David Dog or Dog David.....ooooooooooh OR MAYBE SOMETHING FANCY! Like David THE Dog. He opened his mouth wide but frowned once he noticed his arms and legs were being restrained by....BY....BLACK THINGS!!!

Then his frown only deepened once the two pieces of cars came to a halt just at his feet, like they'd been forcibly stopped. "Awwwwww....WHAT HAPPENED!?" He snorted. He growled concentrating on Hikaru's binds.

It took several moments before of thrashing and pulling before he managed to tear the binds off of himself. "This stuff sure is sticky." He said sticking out his tongue.

"I know about the sticky white stuff but this black stuff, does the black stuff come out of the other end?" He asked viciously yanking his right leg up to break the leg binds.

"......" Mikkish stood there a moment, staring at David, a disturbed look on his face "Come on, dude. Nobody needs to hear about that." Mikkish said, looking around for whoever was responsible for the black stuff, but being that he was not skilled enough with telepathy, and he wasn't very attentive at times, he had no clue it had been Hikaru.

"Who has the black stuff magic? Cut it out." Mikkish ordered.

Remliel snarled at Mikkish. "So just because he's a friggin' retard means it's okay for him to try and kill me!? Screw that! I don't care how brain-damaged he is, if he wants a fight then I'll be more than glad to give him one!"

She was just about to make good on her word, when she witnessed David being bound by dark, slimy things. Her face crumpled into a disgusted grimace as she listened to David. "Eugh, gods you're disgusting. All the more reason to beat the shit out of you I suppose. Now . . ."

The short girl looked around. Letting her intuition decide for her, she stared pointedly at Hikaru. "Hey, girl, you've made a good impression on me so far, so don't screw it up now," she said audibly. Why did she decide it was Hikaru? One really compelling reason was that she was the only one that was actively keeping a safe distance away. Everyone else was either trying to get closer or get farther, but she just stood there. Another reason was that her expression was too relaxed. Everyone else was shocked or panicked or annoyed, but not her. "Release scrambled-egg for brains here, unless you're wanting to join the fight too, then don't blame me if I go after you next."

Mikkish turned to look at whoever Remliel was talking to. It was the same "badass" girl from the boat. The one with long red hair, and an air of mystery about her. Mikkish might have been stuck there, staring at Hikaru if it wasn't for the mob of students snapping him back to reality.

"Those two are trying to kill a mental handicap. Lets kick their ass!" One of them yelled, referring to Remliel and Mikkish as the targets of their assault.

"This will be fun." Mikkish muttered to himself.

He dashed into a guy, too fast for the guy to realize what was happening, and punched him so hard he went flying head first into a large tree. Like a pinball, Mikkish dashed immediately away from the student he knocked out and at his next victim. This one was more prepared, but it made little difference. He was also knowledgeable in physical buff as well as how to fist fight, and after a lightning quick exchange of heavy blows, much like you might see in Dragon Ball Z, the student crashed to the ground, kicking up dirt. Before Mikkish could dash off to his next victim, however, he discovered his legs, knee down, were encased in solid ice. Despite the heat, it was so strong, Mikkish struggled to break free despite his own physical buff knowledge. It was clearly the work of an ice mage among the student mob, probably one more experienced than Mikkish, Remliel, David, or any of the new group of students.

Just as Finley was trying to stop the thrown vehicle Mikkish stepped in. She pulled her energy back in and took a deep breath, glad that he stepped in when he did. She watched the conversation ensue. Someone knew black magic? The red haired girl? Her eyes danced over the faces of the four gifted beings. Watching them made a smirk pull at the corner of her full lips.

She was lost in thought when the first student attacked Mikkish. Surely one of the others down there would help. The group of newcomers she had arrived with were sure making a name for themselves- she thought silently as she stood next to her new roommate she had just met. Finley looked down to see Mikkish have his eggs encompassed in ice. She didn't know of she could help, what if she burned him? She should just stay here. She was sure 3rd degree burns would hurt much worse than a few bruises from getting punched or kicked.

Remliel grinned. Here was the fight! Hopefully it wouldn't get interrupted this time. She looked around at her opponents there were a lot of them, some probably had some abilities that would give her trouble. The frist thing to do was to make sure they stuck together then.

She eyed Mikkish as he got caught in an ice trap. She frowned for a moment, and wondered were he fit i here, before deciding that if he wanted to fight, then he might as well join her!

Remliel tore out the ground from underneath him. The ice was still around his legs, but there was nothing keeping him from moving any longer.

"You're welcome to join if ya want, big guy, just don't get in my way!" she exclaimed, before jumping into the ground of students, swinging her fist in a wide arc.

"Gosh! You sure have a taste for violence..." stated Hikaru.

Shall I jump into? Wondered Hikaru.

She didn't care about the event and truly she just felt like having fun seeing the two student's cruel fate.
On the other hand, she could always get on their good side, after that it would be easy to play with them.
Though revealing her skills would be risky, the fact that she used Dark Magic, which happens to be taboo apparently, was already dangerous.

She sighed.... "All right then...."
The girl fished through her pockets until she found what seemed to be a harmless coin.

She threw it against the ground with no real aim yet made sure that it fell within the group that was fighting.
All without moving from her position.

Then, the debris of the truck became alive, or it seemed like that at least. With a buzz the pieces were apparently propelled against the center of the small battle. Thus, as if several rocks were to be falling, the debris moved like an horizontal avalanche defying the laws of physics. They had no human target, the debris simply targeted the coin, however, any person who stood in their path would be surely hit by one the heavily accelerated pieces.

Law of attraction, or magnetism. To enchant something and place it upon a living being turns to be a task of moderate difficulty, however, to apply the same effect to a non living, unanimate object or place was easy, and thus, for Hikaru to force the coin enchantment was incredible easy, almost effortless.

She stood there doing nothing, just watching as several bodies were impacted by the bullet like pieces of the truck, some slightly wounded, others fell, some broke their bones.
Even with that it was a fairly weak move, anyone knowing the position of the center of attraction could easily avoid it, or even break it by throwing the coin to a different place. But they were a violent crowd and that was her advantage.

Hikaru's gift wasn't the strongest one, in fact it was weak and easy to interrupt, however, the girl knew how to apply it and that gave her the advantage, also, although weak, an item could be enchanted in several, almost endless ways, thus she had a wide array of movements she could use as advantage.

Will they notice such small detail as someone throwing a coin? Even if they do, they won't understand what's going on, Even if they do, they'll think my magic is gravity related...

This is so much fun thought the girl with a seemingly innocent face.

I had been oblivious to everything that had happened. Once I had deposited my things in my new room, in the corner where they wouldn't be obtrusive to anyone, I had gone straight to the library and began to poke through books. I eventually found a few interesting topics and checked them out. A couple beginner's books on light magic, healing magic, and two interesting books that I had found, one on alchemy, and the other on making weapons. They seemed kind of complimentary from the little I had read on the alchemical process of imbuing.

I walked into 302, reading Alchemy for Beginner's and then looked up from my book, taking a look around the room. I noticed that two others had moved in, one roommate was currently here, the other, I wasn't so sure where he could be. I immediately recognized the boy. "Oh, hey, Leon." I said smiling, I looked around the room and noticed the window was broken. "W-What happened to our window?" I asked.

Leon stirred as someone was speaking, sitting up slowly and yawning, he looked at the person for a minute before realizing who it was "Hey Joe...Mikkish shot the window" he said gesturing toward his revolver and sword "he was checking out my gun and accidentally shot it, the he jumped out the window and that big fight started" he said sleepily, yawning again.

I blinked a few times, unsure of how to reply. We'd have to get the window fixed or replaced... I hope that I wouldn't have to pitch in. I mean, I wouldn't mind if I had the money to do it, but as it is, the little money that I do have is for emergencies and food. "Well... that certainly doesn't happen everyday..." I said. I turned to my things. "Um... mind if I bunk with you?" I asked, glancing back at Leon.

"Go right ahead" Leon said as he looked back at the shattered window, he had no money to pay for a replacement, the last that the Gypsy had was used for the boat ride, but he thought of a temporary fix, at least until they could do something about it, he got up and went over to the window pushing that last few pieces of glass out he waved his hand in front of it, a light frost coated his hand as ice formed over the windowsill forming over where the glass would be, tapping it he thought it could work for awhile, aside from it being made of ice and being a bit frosty on the edges it could almost pass as a glass window.

"Ah, thank you." I said smiling, I knelt down in front of the dresser on our side of the room and unpacked the few things that I had into the two bottom drawers of the dresser, which were just a few pairs of pants, shirts, and a single dress shirt that I carefully kept folded and on the top of the drawer. The rest were a few mystery novels and some school supplies. On top of the dresser, I set a simple picture frame down.

The picture contained me and a beautiful woman that looked around her early to mid-thirties, she had long brown hair that went past her shoulders, she had fair unblemished skin and kind brown eyes. It looked like we had taken this picture in front of a fountain in a park. The woman looked tired, but nonetheless happy, as did I.

I eventually set my archery case in the corner and set the books on the top bunk. I looked at the window and smiled. "That was a pretty good idea... hopefully it'll hold." I thought, I then began to read, thinking that Leon would want to sleep.

Mikkish was about to rejoice that he had been set free of his ice problem when he noticed pieces of the truck hurling towards him. He was about to speed dash out of the way when suddenly, the pieces dropped, remains of the ice melted then vanished, and the students all adapted confused looks on their faces, as their magic suddenly wasn't working. Mikkish figured what was going on when he discovered that as he was trying to speed dash, all he was capable of was a quick, but not at all supernatural, short sprint.

"Alright alright, THATS IT!" Yelled an elderly, but fit man who walked into the courtyard "No more. I know you're mostly all probably new, but magic does NOT make life a video game. Now get back to your dorms! I am leaving the device on all night now, and don't think you'll find it!"

The device he referenced was what caused the sudden inability to use magic. The effect field was large enough to cover the entire courtyard as well as much of the main school building and dorm building. Bummer.

I looked up from my book as I heard the sound of glass hitting the ground and felt a breeze. The ice window had melted quickly. "H-Huh? W-What's happening?" I asked, getting up. Did Leon's spell not work correctly...? Is someone pulling a prank on us...? I sighed softly and carefully picked up the still cold glass carefully and piled it up onto the dresser on our side of the room, not wanting to have anyone step on it and cut themselves accidentally and then I could just run it all out at once, once I found all of the pieces.

Leon looked at the window when the ice melted, as Joe picked up the pieces he examined the windowsill 'that ice should have lasted the rest of the week at least, even without be magically sustained' he thought as he looked, he raised his hand and tried to cast again but found that he was unable to 'strange, does the school have something to suppress magic?', he took the gauntlet of his right hand and tried casting with it, he managed to get a thin layer of ice over the window, however it was a bit of a struggle and would likely only last the night.
