When you can pull out a full fleshed out character in a couple hours and the other players not only take weeks but make awful characters and in some cases blatantly disregard the rules.

@I-Am-XI am not sure what you're referring to and if you're referring to one of my characters I am fully willing to admit some of my characters in the past have been bad but I do all I can now of days to follow the rules.

What's up with people who make a sheet for an RP, only to drop-out/disappear without even making a single post? Like, that's the one thing I can't wrap my head around.

I think it has alot to do with "I have a character concept that I reeeaaalllyyyy like" and then they make a fully developed character with a backstory and everything which they then can't really explore... Not sure - I know I used to have a habit of losing interest quickly because my characters already went through a lot and would end up not developing or needing to develop, if that makes sense. So I've started to get a balance between life experience and naivete, which makes holding my interest a LOT easier for a lot of stuff.

But dropping without any posts or a word about it? That's a bit... well, bad. >_>

Because casual doesn't have the length requirement of Advanced, but everybody there has mismatched standards. So if people complain, you could explain why, especially if English is your second language, and I'm sure they'd help you out.

Hmm.. I hate the people who always brag about their role-playing abilities, ie; Great grammar, spelling, depth, ext*

And when they finally post its something along the lines of;

"they walks over to that Guy and nods."

Nothing else. A simple sentence or something, and gives you almost nothing to work with.

Another thing is when your really into a roleplay, and your getting out good length- detailed posts often and everything, and they just give you the most worthless replies that take forever and just make you want to cringe. I've had a MILLION times where I have a good idea for a plot or something, and someone just ruins it and kills the fun or I have to carry the whole roleplay.

It does for people who don't like to play down there. To each their own, but I know a lot of people can't stand those single line things... It makes it feel so... I dunno, I just can't immerse myself in it. But if that's what you like, hey, who am I to judge? On the other hand, there's the low-mid-high Casual. It'd be nice to have it broken down less into free-casual-advanced and have at least one more category, y'know?

@Israphel Yes. Ugh. I hate that. I make sure the problems I know I need to work on are known before I start playing with somebody. I tend to lose focus and repeat words (despite how much I hate reading that kind of thing) or I type faster than my brain can put a sentence together so it comes out kinda wonky... But I acknowledge and try to work on that. :p

I've repeated words and sentences, mainly because like you said, I type before my brain can put it together so I end up trying it twice or something. No one is perfect. :P

This isn't annoying, more so stupid, I hate the people that say they're making a CS, and throw their character in anyway without it getting accepted or anyone knowing anything about it and its just like '...oh.'

I've had a project I love working on. It was creating a maze. For two different fellows so far.

First time it reset on level 1. Other problems happened and I left.

Second time I got halfway through level two. The place I was working with shut down.

These are large maze levels, and there are supposed to be 16 of them.

So I do this 14 more times on different spots and I will finally get it done.

I just lost a thousand words of my app to "Oh God I didn't realize my mouse pointer was on the top right".

And the "Restore tabs please oh God of the internet save my work" no longer works.

So that was an experience.

You should look up Lazarus. It can help you save whatever you type, and saved me from hours upon hours of buttrage. Though, sometimes it fucks up. Or just use google docs.
