The purpose is that she gives no information on us through her connection with the group through Ruby. If she remains at my castle, only I am in danger--if I really were in any danger at all.

In order to live outside of the collective consciousness of the Spirit of Order, I have to be linked to a mind that's powerfully harmonised. And Libra's mind fits the bill perfectly. If I link my mind with hers, then I will only be connected to the Spirit of Order by my existence as a Spirit of Order, and Ruby will not be able to touch my mind in any way, at all. The only way for me to return to Ruby is if this body of mine died, or if Libra decided not to block me from severing my link from her.
