It's not like he's going to use his magic. Action doesn't infer magic, but if Gabriel uses it, he's telling Hunter he's insecure and lacking self confidence. While it may not be true, that's what he'll see. Plus the taking it out of town is because he's a Dragon Slayer and Natsu kinda painted them as destructive.

Gabriel isn't strong, and his spirits tend to just appear without him calling them when he's in danger, which this could be perceived as such.

But maybe....oh yes

I imagine everything that I write about to try and make it more real in my writing. Frequently, not only for the sake of creativity but also for exercise, I perform the more mundane physical moves like strikes and throws in order to get a better understanding of how they work.
