Raymond doesn't think very highly of himself. Neither does he of anybody else. He might come of as a bully, as he feels the need to 'speak his mind'. He is truthful in the way that what he says is his truth. He is lead by his instincts. His feelings, his gut. Unlike most of his siblings, Raymond isn't a typical cupido. He isn't a shining rainbow of love, or a sexual sensation, not a symbol of unconditional affection, not lust personified. No. But he ís a temptation. A dark one.

This guy will question your motives with a heads on tirade, whenever he feels there is injustice or dishonesty going on somewhere.
That's probably the reason why he felt so much resistance in his life and feels like the world is against him.
He needs his safe places, his habits, his retraite.

Background:
Raymond's father couldn't settle with any other woman after he had been with the godess of love herself. So in his life, Ray saw a lot of potential substitution mothers, come and go. When ray was six, he turned into a little black goat. That was when his dad decided to tell him he was aphrodite's son. Back then, Ray was still at the age of everything being plausible, so it was never really weird for him. Santa was still real as well at the time. When he was eight, one of his dad's girlfriends confessed to him that she liked to watch candles. And fires in general. And how they consumed everthing. An hour later, their house was burning down. The woman was laughing hysterically. They moved to another town. When he was thirteen, he found out he was the only guy in class having no trouble with girls. One of his female teachers that he had a crush on, was later fired for kissing a minor, which was also a student. His father didn't know who was the victim here and had a hard time talking to his son about all this. When he was seventeen, Ray got caught dealing drugs. His father told him that it might be better if Ray left for a place where 'he could be more himself'. Ray still suspects his father of meaning: 'a place where he doesn't cause any trouble'
And now he's here. He visits his dad sometimes in the holidays.

Aphrodisiaca:Raymond honors his middle name by actually being able to brew a lovepotion. But that is just one of the uses and forms. He can influence emotions of people through substances or objects. The requirements are: 1) he has to touch it first 2) then the person has to ingest, touch or inhale it. Could be hard sometimes. Could be simple. The medium for instance, could be smoke.

Tell me your secrets/ Come to the dark side: Raymond has an aura about him, if he chooses it, that makes people confess their hidden desires and fantasies. Their boundaries evaporate. It turns them to a more primal state. It starts with confessing what they secretly want. The longer they are exposed, the more likely the chance that they will turn it into action. While people are in this state, Ray can make a fitting suggestion that gives him minor control over their actions.

Avery is slim, curvy, five-foot, and four and a half. Her body is lithe from all the dancing she likes to do-a healthy meal of ballroom, with a side or contemporary and jazz, hold the ballet. Her creamy skin and the dark auburn-brown hair inheirited from her irish mother, set off her amber eyes, which glow in the dark sometimes. Her skin is unmarked, except for the tattoo that winds across her left shoulder.

Clothing Style:
Avery likes to wear regular t-shirts, and sometimes halter tops for when it's hot. She mainly wears jeans and lightweight combat boots for regular use, and you'll never see her without her leather jacket. Her type of style is mostly whatever's comfortable, band shirts, and she really likes the steampunk styles.

Avery can be fierce and sometimes scary, a trick inherited from her mother, but is usually playful and relaxed. Although some people see her as never taking anything serious, she actually is just trying to laugh because she prefers it to crying. She is creative with how she pulls her pranks, as well as new improvements made to weapons and other items, and is very protective of herself and others when threatened, verbally or physically. She usually has many friends, but only a few are close to her, because she has had issues trusting people in the past.

Background:
Avery lived in Englewood, New Jersey until she was ten years old, when she moved to New York because her mother wanted a change of scenery (or at least, that's what she said), and had a job offer to be a tattooist. She helped her mother with tattoo ideas, and was allowed to go to her workplace after school. Her mom's boss saw no harm in letting her learn how to be a tattooist, and when she turned sixteen she was allowed to work there.
