Question - As I intend on playing a Romulan character, I believe I need to know whether we're in the Abramverse or the Original Timeline?

More so because I'd like to know whether my character's homeworld/capital planet even exists anymore or not.

I would also support the original ship/crew concept.

Looking over everyone's replies, there has been no discussion on which -Verse is preferred. I'm not gonna call it yet, but I will say that either way we go, we'd be playing in a time that Romulus still exists.

And come Monday I'll make an OCC (I'm still mildly busy and this is only a brief window I have to reply).

Vote now: Would you like to have this story placed in the Original Timeline? Or the new Alternative Timeline from Abram's movies?

If the Original Timeline: When would you like to see the story placed? (Any canon established time is acceptable until the end of Voyager. Any canon for the Original Timeline introduced by Abrams-verse isn't taken.)

If Abrams-verse: During the time of the Enterprise or just after the Enterprise is retired from service? (I'm not going too far into the future with this one)

I know my previous post was short but it was because of frustration with my mobile reception

Presently I am involved with a Star Trek BBS and serve on 5 ships (CE on two ships, Ensign Engineer on another, Doctor and lastly Chief Science officer)

I'd love to join this if possible

I've been part of one of the largest Star Trek RP clubs/groups on the internet for a little over four years now. If you're really interested in going for it, you might hit me up.

I do have some passing interest, though an alternate ship, with OC's might work a little better. Then again, it depends on your target audience. *Shrug*

I'm down.

That being said, as for timeline, I'd like to see a post-Abrasm verse (at the very least set on an OC ship with an OC Crew) of\r sometime in TNG era, with which I am the most familiar.

I'm up for any timeline as long as it's Star Trek

I once tried to start my own Star Trek spinoff of the exploration of the Dyson Sphere where Geordi works with Scotty

I called it Jenolen Station and put a lot of work into researching it but alas the guild wasn't receptive

I'd prefer the original TNG or VOYAGER eras, as I am most familiar with those.

I can barely remember the Abrams-verse movies (), but I still retain a lot of happy memories of TNG/Voyager/Enterprise episodes. I've also done a fair bit of research on TOS, too. So I'll go with the Prime Timeline.
